"So girl how did it feel?" Dania questioned.

"Well it happened so fast ion even know." I said.

"All I can really remember is the blood. There was so much blood, and when she twisted the knife, I screamed so loud. I heard a pop in me and I said in my head "Damn I gotta go out like dis." Then I remember Kg comin and Mill shot at da girl, but missed." I said thinking about that day.

"Damn girl." Dania said. We was sitting out on the porch with Rylen, Ajar, Kellin, Kk, Syncere, and Monie.

"How long was I sleep?" I asked them.

"Since June 31st." Rylen said.

"What did the girl say to you?" Kk asked.

"How ya know she said some to me?" I questioned raising my right eyebrow.

"Al gave us the footage." She said.

"Where it at?" I asked.

"Um on the DVD shelf in the living room." She said. I nodded.

"Well when I got there I walked in like any regular person did. Got my items and Kg and nem talked to me, like always." I said rolling my eyes.

"Then when I walked out. I had threw away some trash and saw dis girl walk up wit all black. Then she said "you Patience?" And I was like "who's asking?" She said "Me bitch" then before I knew it she was stabbing me." I said.

"Then she said to tell Tremani that pay back is a bitch. When she said that, she had twisted the knife." I said.

"Girl you had everyone crying even yo brother." Rylen said shaking his head.

"Ion know why. This was all over him and his opps." I said swinging my feet and messing wit my cast.

"What you gonna do now?" Dania asked.

"Um I hoping when my money come in. I can move to Atlanta." I said.

"Girl stop playing." Kk said.

"I'm not." I said nonchalantly.

"I need to get away from here for a lil. I'm tired of people dying everyday and kids getting snatched up. I mean if I do end up having my own family. I definitely don't want it to be here." I said looking at this car that had passed by 2 times.

"Drive by." I said making Ajar turn his head.

"Naw dats Mayback Rider's." Ajar said.

"Y'all coo now?" I asked surprised.

"Yea." Rylen said.

"Wait y'all coo wit south siders?" Syncere asked.

"Dats what we is technically. We had to move to the Westside when my uncle passed. We was gonna move back to the Southside, but we had adapted to the Westside. So my mama said we could stay." I said.

"But yea we is Southsiders." I said.

"Where did y'all live on the Southside?" Syncere asked.

"Near Raymond. Well thats like east or south whichever." I said.

"Oh so like south east?" He said and I nodded.

"So when you plan on moving?" Dania asked.

"When I turn 18." I said.

"Girl you ain't moving." Ajar said shoowing me.

"We'll see." I said.

"Ok I jus wanna know how my funeral was planned." I said smiling.

"Weird ass." Rylen mumbled.

"Boy shut up. I jus wanna know if y'all planned it like I wanted." I said.

"Well we must play yb and to get in you have to know one yougboy song." Kk said.

"Purrrr cuz dat's my husband." I said as Monie mugged me.

"My bad." I said.

"Now I love ben." Kk said.

"Girl I love boomer and babyjoe." Dania said.

"Swear dem four can get it." I said sticking out my tongue.

"On god." Kk said.

"Um anyway you had also wanted to be pulled in a carriage with a horse." Rylen said.

"Correct." I said.

"You also wanted fried chicken and wings, with all different flavors. You also wanted Kk to dress ya." Ajar said.

"Ding Ding." I said.

"Yo makeup had to be on fleek and yo nails had to be done." Kk said.

"Yep and nobody from yo school was invited besides Tia, and Lamar." Rylen said.

"Errbody was supposed to be happy and celebrate. Also you wanted a board of pics of you and the fam. They could not be ugly either." Ajar said.

"Awww yall remember." I said.

"Mhm" They said.

"Hey Patience." Dee said. He was the boy who delivered mail.

"Hey Dee." I said

"You got a lot of cards." He said handing them to me.

"Thanks Dee." I said.

"Hope you feel better. Sorry I can't stay gotta go deliver mail." He said running off. I giggled.

"Lemme see." Kk said as her eyes widened.

"Girl you got bout 1,000 get well cards." She said.

"What can I say the people love me." I said laughing.

"Bitch look." Kk said holding up a card that said get well and it had 3,000 dollars in it.

"Who it from?" I asked.

"Oop Andy." She said.

"White boy Andy?" Rylen asked.

"Yep." Kk said.

"I remember when we beat dat nigga ass." Ajar laughed.

"Um you, Henzo, Tremani, and K3 jumped him." I said rolling my eyes.

"Yea cause he liked you." Ajar said.

"So." I said.

"We ain't play bout you." He said.

"Yep and Andy said that he liked me and we was finna date, but somehow Tremani found out and y'all jumped him." I said.

"We ain't hurt him dat bad. Plus we always been coo wit Andy." Ajar said.

"Forreal tho. He the only white person I really fuck wit." Rylen said.

"Wait who's Khalil?" Dania asked.

"He was my dearest friend." I said.

"Where he at now?" She asked.

"Oh uh he had passed away from a overdose." I said putting my head down.

"Oh damn my bad." Dania said.

"Naw it's ok." I said.

"Well where Andy?" Syncere asked.

"He live over there on the Eastside still I think." I said.

"He-" I said, but was cut off by Tremani opening the screen door.

"Mama want you Patience." He said and I nodded trying to get up.

"Want some help?" Monie asked. I shook my head.

"Ya sure." Tremani said.

"I'm good." I said rudely placing the cards in Kk's hands.

"Damn my bad foe asking." He said.

"Yea yo bad." I said pushing him out the way so I could go inside the house.

"Yea mama." I said walking to where she was.

"Baby you want me to get you something?" She said.

"No I'm fine mama." I said

"Patience I-"

"It's ok I will outta here by tonight. Yeen gotta worry bout me." I said shrugging.

"I didn't mean what I said. You can stay." She said.

"No mama really it's ok. I get it you don't need me no moe." I said turning to walk away.

"Patience don't you dare turn yo back on me." She said.

"Why? You did." I said stopping in my tracks.

"Listen I'm sorry, you have every right to be mad, but don't disrespect me." She said walking over to me.

"My bad." I said walking back out the door to the porch.

"Kk can you come help me pack." I said.

"Foe what?" Tremani asked.

"I'm moving out." I said.

"Mama don't want me here." I said.

"Patience that is not what I said." My mama said opening up the door.

"Basically." I said.

"Where my car and my keys." I said.

"Um here yo keys and yo car is in the garage." Kk said handing me my keys.

"I cleaned all the blood and stuff." She said.

"Thanks kk." I said.

"Patience where you gonna go?" Tremani asked.

"Ion know." I said walking down the porch steps and to my car. I opened the door and got in starting it.

"Patience you can stay. Ion know why you tripping." He said walking to my car.

"I'm not tripping. Imma leave since that is what mama wanted." I said as he approached the drivers side, where I was located.

"Girl you on some." Tremani said.

"Naw I'm not. I just don't wanna be around yo ass no moe." I said.

"You think you the shit now huh?" Tremani asked.

"Nigga I ain't neva say I was the shit, but aye if dats what ya then whatever." I shrugged.

"No you acting like you better then me. May be at certain things but I do what I do to survive." Tremani said

"Mane get the fuck outta here. Ian tryna go there witchu Tremani." I said putting my backpack in the trunk of car.

"Ian either." He said.

"Good." I said slamming the trunk.

I got a pain on my side.

"FUCK." I said as blood bled through my shirt.

"Girl chill." Kk said walking over.

"You doin to much." She said

"Well I wouldn't have to go through did if it wasn't for Mr. Fuck up over there." I said.

"Girl chill out and quit cause all you doin is stressing yoself out." She said.

"Fuck it." I said as I tried pulling off all the bandages.

"Patience stop." Kk slapped my hands as Monie walked over.

"Stop that shit. Why you being like this?" He asked

"Cause I can be." I said

"Stop with yo shit." Monie said

"Patience get in here." My mama said sternly.

"I need dis damn cast off." I said pulling at my arm.

"Why is you on a rampage?" My mama said walking off the porch and to me.

"I don't wanna be here anymore." I said breaking down.

"Aye quit talking like dat." She said pulling me into a hug.

"It's all gonna be ok." She said as I sobbed into her chest.

"God gave you another chance. Get it together pay." She said kissing my forehead.

"I'm trying mama." I said.

"Just chill and breath." She said putting her hands on the side of my face.

"You having a break down. When did they come back?" She said.

"Um a month ago." I said breathing calmly.

"Come in here so I can get you cleaned up." She said.

"Can someone turn my car off please and bring me my keys." I said wiping my tears.

"Yea." Kellin said.

"You still trying to move?" My mama asked.

"Honestly no. I have to much to pack." I said causing her to laugh.

"I forgot to ask, but where's London?" I asked as we walked into the kitchen and mama got her medical care bag.

"She went to visit your grandmother. She said she wanted to spend time with her." Ma said

"Does she know I'm alive?" I asked.

"Yea I told her earlier. She wanted to come but I didn't have enough time to get to her before they were going to discharge you." She said cleaning the blood and patching me up again.

"Thank you mama." I said

"I love you Patience." My mama said getting a little teary eyed.

"Don't cry mama." I said pulling her into a hug.

"It's a miracle you are alive. Of course I'm going to cry." She said pulling away fanning her eyes.

"I love you to mama." I told her.
