"Pay I heard you was leaving tomorrow for Miami." Mayari said

"Yea first thing in tha mornin." I said

"Yeen wanna bring a brother down witchu." Rylen said more like a statement.

"Lil girl." Rylen said before him and Kk started they shenanigans.

"You ready?" Monie asked kissing my cheek.

"Yea." I said

"We finna head out y'all so we can get some rest before our flight." I said

"Ok bye be safe." Mayari said

"Cmon Kk and Syncere." I said

"Coming." Kk said

"Hmm I said handing Kk my keys. She wanted to drive while I rode with Monie.

I had just gotten back from dropping of Kk. She had dropped Syncere off and then brung the car back to Monie's and had me drop her off at the mall.

"Ight I'm finna leave for a few." Monie said. We was currently at his house.

"Ok where you going?" I asked

"Business." He said

"Ok bye I love you be safe." I said puckering my lips.

"I love you to." He said my lips.

I know what Monie do therefore I never really trip when he leave.

"Food will be in the microwave when you get home." I said

"Ight love you." He said walking out the front door.

I was sitting in the living room watching power because the new book come out on the 18th.

I decided to go and cook diner. Then I cleaned up and did the dishes and lit a candle to refresh this big ass house.

Ring ring

It was an unknown number. So I declined it.

"Why they tryna play like top ain't raw." I mumbled putting on Dead Trollz.

Ring ring

Same number.

"Hello." I said

"Wassup Pay I miss you." I heard Blaze's voice through the phone.

I immediately hung up. I blocked his number.

"Niggas is weird." I said laying on the couch.

It had just woke up and I was still on the couch.

I walked upstairs to get in the bed. I checked my phone and had 12 missed calls from Kk and one from my nana.

I decided to call Kk first. She ain't answer. So I called my nana.

"Hey nana." I said into the phone.

"Hey pay how you been?" She asked

"Good nana what about you?" I asked

"Great I heard you got a little boyfriend." She said

"Yea." I said smiling.

"Gonna have to bring him around sometime ain't that right." She said

"Yes ma'am."

"How Tremani been?"

"He's been the same Nana."

"Pay how you recovering?" She said

"Um actually just fine. I have to change my patches some times, but I took them off yesterday and I'm doin just fine." I said

"That's good baby." Nana replied

"Been taking it easy?"

"No not really." I said thinking.

"Patience that can lead you up to serious problems. Be careful." She said

"I know Nana." I said

"Well I love you baby. Call me more ok." She said

"I will and I love you to Nana." I said

"Bye baby." She said

"Bye Nana." I said hanging up.

I called Kk back and she answered on the first ring.

"Hello" She stuttered into the phone.

"What's wrong Kk?" I said worried.

"T-they came and raped me Pay." She said sobbing.

"What? Who kk?" I said slipping on my bonnet and my Adidas slides.

"These g-guys t-t-they said it was payback for some guy named Malik." She stuttered.

I remember him. Bam used to sell to him. The only reason I be knowing this shit is because I be wit Tremani all the time and Bam be wit him sometimes.

Malik stole from bam and said some disrespectful shit. Then bam fought him and Malik pulled out a gun and tried to shoot him, but bam shot him before he could.

"Ok baby where are you at?" I said grabbing my keys and running out the door to hop in my car.

"I'm at East 42nd and post road." She said.

"Ok Kk I'll be there hang tight I'm coming." I said.

"Stay on the phone wit me Pay." She said

"I am." I said speeding.

"I got some extra clothes in the trunk ok." I said

"But first we'll need to go to the hospital." I said

"Ok." She said sniffling.

I saw Kk sitting near the road so I got out of the car and ran to her.

"C'mon baby." I said helping her get up.

"Ow." She said

"Hollon." I said as I picked her up.

"Damn what ya been eating?" I said causing her to giggle.

"Stop my legs hurt and my stomach." She said

"I'm taking you to the hospital." I said

"Ok I love you pay." She said as I put her in the car.

" I Love you too kk." I said shutting the door.
