"It is gonna be fine. Just chill and relax. We got bigger problems to worry bout. So relax while you can." He said rubbing my thigh.

"Ok." I said closing my eyes for a little.

"Tremani I'm not playing wit you. What's going on?" My momma said while walking into the living room.

"None." I stated.

"Look Ma we did some that we can't come back from." I said

"Hmm I just wanted to see if it was true." She said

"Streets is already talking?" I groaned.

"Mhm. I don't believe anything it says but I knew it was some truth to what was said." She said before shaking her head and walking out the room.

I know my momma disappointed at the person I became, but this is for me.

"Ooouuuu Tremani yo uncle gon find out." My homeboy Rylen said

"Mayne I'm making money to provide for my family. He do the same shit. He'll understand." I said sure of myself.

"Tremani getcho butt in the house. The streetlights is on." My momma held from our house.

"Ight nigga imma catch ya later." I said

"Ok." Rylen said as we did out secret handshake.

I had walked up to the porch.

"Where Patience mama?" I asked

"She spent the night over wit Kk and Khalil." She replied

"Oh ok." I said

"Imma ask you a question and you better answer correctly." Mama said

"Yes ma'am." I said

"What you been hiding up in yo room?" She asked

"Nun." I said

"Tremani imma ask yo ass one more time. What you been hiding?" She asked

"Drugs." I mumbled.

"You are only twelve. I'm not gonna punish you for selling. Yo uncle will give you a talk about that later. I am gonna punish you for lying tho. Find you a twitch." She said

"Ight." I said nonchalantly.

I went getting me a twitch. As I was doing so there was a car driving very slow down our street. I knew what that meant. I ran my ass back into the house before I heard gunshots ringing through the house next door.

"Tremani get down." My mama whispered yelled.

I hurried and got onto the floor. It wasn't the first time of me seeing or hearing this. It sure wouldn't be my last.

"Ma can you watch Royalty?" I asked walking into the kitchen.

"Yea Tremani." She said

"I love you." I said

"I love you too." She replied before I turned around going upstairs in London's room.

"She sleep so get out." London said as I opened up the door.

"Lil girl. I was just coming up here to say I love you. Tell Royalty when she wakes up and Patience if I'm not here later when she get home." I said

"Ok I love you too." London replied before I shut her door and walked out.

"Be safe Tremani please." Mama said walking out of the kitchen and to me.

"I will." I said hugging her before walking out the house.

She waited out on the porch making sure I left safe.

"Hello." Mayari said on the other end of the phone.

"Ight go in da closet and get me everything that is in there." I said

"Tremani no you can't sell none. They gonna come kill y'all." Mayari said

"Please Mayari jus do what I wish right now." I said

"No."

"Mayne please." I said

"Tremani we have a kid on the way." Mayari said

"I know. I gotta do what I gotta do." I said

"Please go and get it."

"Fine." She said hanging up.

"It's me Lala Tremani won't answer my calls." She said

"Mayne cuz he don't want yo ass no more." I said

"Look I ain't calling cuz of dat. These dudes came by my job earlier asking if I could set Tremani up." She said

"Shit what else?" I said starting up my car. I was at the gas station bout to leave.

"I didn't go through wit it. They kept saying how they were going to kill Tremani and stuff. I'm just saying watch y'all backs. They really trying and ain't finna stop till someone dies." Lala said

"Ight bruh." I said hanging up the phone. I ain't trust a word dat bitch said.

I was driving around avoiding going home till my momma get home from work.

"Need some gas." I said pulling up to the gas station close too TT Kay house.

As I got out. I saw Jay walking wit Mill.

"Shid I know ion fuck wit y'all like dat but we ain't gonna let nun happen on these corners." Mill said

"Appreciate it Mill." I said walking into the gas station.

As I walked in I saw a group of girls. They was all doing freestyle's.

"Say yo bitch ass rhyme didn't bother my feelings." Some girl said to this other girl.

"Girl bye you just mad you can't fuck dat nigga Syncere." She replied making me walk over.
