We had just pulled up at the house and we was currently getting out.

My eyes hurt, I got a headache, and I'm hurt.

"I'm tired." Kk said as we walked up the the porch unlocking the door. Everyone was still here. Besides Monie so far.

"Wassup wit em. And y'all look like shit." Rylen said

"Daelynn got shot but he cool. An-" Kk cut herself off by crying.

"J-Jon Jon ain't make it." I said closing the door silently and slowly.

"Oh man." They all shook they heads.

"It was Malik and them." I said.

"Mayne we got to get them niggas." Bam said standing up and punching his fist together.

"Nigga you need to chill. You the reason we in this situation anyway." Ajar said

"Whatever. All I know is. Someone gotta die and it ain't finna be none of mines." Bam Bam said walking past me and Kk and to the door.

"C'mon Kk. Imma go and get ya some food." He said

"I love you Pay." She sniffled bringing me into a hug.

"I love you too. Call me." I said hugging her tightly.

"I will." She nodded

"I love y'all." Kk said to the boys.

"We love ya too." They all replied.

Her and Bam then walked out.

"Look y'all niggas gone stop blaming him. He prolly feel like shit anyway. Cut it out." I said marching up the stairs.

London was in my room.

"Where yo friends at?" I asked

"Home." She said

"You okay?" She asked looking at my face.

"No."

"Get out." I pointed.

"Fine." She shrugged stomping out.

She slammed the door behind her. Ignoring her I unlocked my phone calling Monie.

"What happened?" He said

"Jon Jon gone and Daelynn in the hospital." I said

"Damn. I'm sorry Pay." Monie said

"You good. Make sure you at the house. Imma go sell some of yo shit and then swing by yo house to get more product." I said

"Naw ion want you in that shit." He said

"You ain't finna sell nun. So imma sell it for you." I said

"Patience it ain't smart to be doing it right now. You gonna get yo self kilt." He preached.

"I know what I'm doing." I said

"Patience bring me my product. Ian asking you to hold my shit no more. You being dumb. Them niggas finna kill you. You either bring me my product or Imma get it myself." He said

"Ight whatever." I said hanging up.

Just pissed me off. Ion feel good, I feel like killing some. I should be crying right now, but I'm so angry. My heart ain't never full of anger. Only sadness. I don't get mad like that.

I flopped onto my bed and buried my head into my sheets screaming. I wanted to cry but I couldn't foe some reason.

"Patience you good?" Ajar said walking in.

"No not really." I said

"Talk to me." He said walking over and sitting on my bed.

I laid up.

"Look ima need you and Tremani to get on the same page. Ion like when y'all argue with each other." He said

"I be trying but he too much. If youn mind ion wanna talk about him right now." I said

"I know you loved Jon Jon. I was cool wit em to. He in thug heaven." Ajar said

"What the hell. Ian never hear that before." I said scrunching up my face.

"I call it thug heaven because thugs only do what they do to make it somewhere. They doing it for good deeds. Therefore they ain't bad but ain't good either. I like to think of it that way. Even if they really ain't make it into the gates of heaven." He explained.

"What if they don't believe or have a relationship with God?" I asked

"Well then they might be down below. I don't know honestly." He said

"Mm. Shid then I guess Jon Jon went to thug heaven." I said

"Yea." Ajar chuckled.

"Shid imma go now. Gotta get back to someone." He said

"Oop." I said as he leaned over giving me a kiss on the cheek and a hug.

"I love you little girl." He said

"I love you too Ajar." I said squeezing him and shutting my eyes tightly.

He then let go of me and walked to my door.

"Hey Ajar you ever think of getting out the game?" I asked

"Yea a lot, but I can't right now." He said

"I thought you was finna say the same thing as Tremani. "YoU caA eVER geT oUt." I mocked.

"It depends who you work for and how much beef you got with people. If I'm being honest with ya Pay, Ian never really wanna be in the street life. If you remember I used to play basketball. I thought that was finna be my way out. I had then needed money fast. Ian have no other way besides selling drugs. Jobs wouldn't hire me because of my tattoos and my grades at school. The only good grade I had ever had was damn Gym." Ajar chuckled

"Tremani had hooked me up with drugs. I had made me a few thousands and then I was gonna stop, but before I knew it I needed more. I still don't like this shit. It's not for me. Now Tremani fell in love with trapping. This life is for him. Nigga won't ever stop. He get that from yo uncle." He said

"It ain't to late. You can stop one day." I said

"One day, not now Pay. I love you." He said

"I love you to." I said before he walked out closing my door.

"BAM IMMA GO GET THE FOOD." I yelled up the stairs.

"IGHT." He yelled back. We ordered pizza cause that's what I had wanted instead of a fast food place.

I shook my head before walking out the house and locking the door.

I then had pulled out my phone and walked to my car.

I hurried and got in, locking my doors.

I started my car, callling Syncere. We been falling out lately and it's annoying me. He don't call me like that. He never stop by any more. We hang out sometimes, but barely.

"Wassup?" He said into the phone.

"Where you at?" I asked backing out of my spot.

"Home, why?" He asked

"Cause I'm finna come over." I said in a duh tone.

"Oh alright I guess." He said

"What-."

"Hollon bae imma call you back." Syncere said hanging up, not giving me time to reply.

I really needed someone. I just lost my best friend and I can't even get a conversation out of my boyfriend. I can't go over Patience house. I was going to, but I know my cousin. She doesn't want to be bothered right now.

Imma hit a club. Ian going to that nigga house.

"Girl why ain't Patience coming?" Niya asked. (P.s. Niya is Dominic's girlfriend.)

"She mad over Jon Jon and I don't want her beating a bitch ass. I shouldn't even be going out, but ion got no one right now. Imma drink achohol till I'm numb." I said

"Unt unt. No cause then you just gonna make your pain worse." Niya said

"But I don't understand. How could someone take a person who ain't had nothing to do with them." I cried

"Aww baby." Niya hugged me.

"I just don't get it." I sobbed.

"A lot of things aren't meant for us to understand. We have to live the reality of that." She said crying with me.

"We gonna be late." She said wiping her tears chuckling.

"Yea." I said wiping mine along with her.

"Okay do I look better?" I asked

"Girl you look fine." She said

"Okay thanks." I said

"Ight now let's go." I said grabbing my keys off the bathroom counter.

"Where Bam at?" I asked

"Out somewhere wit his secret girl maybe." I said

"Oop he got him a girl." She said

"I think. They ain't together but they ain't talking to no one else. For now." I said knowing damn well Bam might slip up. He ain't a cheater tho.

"Well good for him." Niya said

I laughed as we both walked out my mama apartment. I gave Niya the keys to start the car, while I locked the door.

I hurried got into the car.

"Okay we finna tune up for Jon Jon." Niya said

"For Jon Jon." I smiled.
