Dom's POV

(At the pack house)

"Dom I need to speak with you in my office now." My father booms, cutting me off from the conversation I was having with max.

Max looks just as confused as I feel right now but I nod ok.

"Listen, I have to go and talk to my dad for a little while, do you think you'll be ok with out me?" I ask Stef.

I really hate to be away from her, especially when there's about a hundred other male wolves in this house but duty calls.

"Yeah sure, I'll be fine. I can pack up the rest of your things."

"Ok and I'll send some people over to get your things. There all boxed and taped right?" I ask wanting to make sure no one will be able to see any of her stuff.

"Yup, boxed and all ready to go." She says smiling.

She is just to damn cute.

"Dom...my office, now." My fathers powerful voice brings my attention to him.

"Well I better go. I'll be up soon, try not to leave my room, and be careful, don't lift any heavy things just leave those for me. Call me if you need me. Promise you will call me if you need anything?" I say in a ramble.

"I promise, now go before you get in trouble." She laughs.

I press my lips against hers and then leave the conference room sending a quick text to a few guys to move Stef's things into the new house.

"Have a seat Dom." My dad says ushering me to sit as I enter his office.

I sit in front of him.

"Now tell me Dom, what were you thinking?"

I know exactly what he's talking about but I don't want to address it.

"I don't know what you mean."

"Marking her Dom. Why did you mark her? The full moon is in two days, do you really think she's ready to go into heat?"

I totally forgot that the full moon was in coming up.

"Yeah I do, I think she's ready. I mean she's probably been through a hell of a lot worse or something close in comparison, so I think she can handle her first heat. Plus I'll be with her the hole time."

"I really hope your right Dom, I really do because now that you've marked her your going to feel everything she feels in that heat and her pain just maybe a little overwhelming." He says, his tone greatly decreased for the beginning of the conversation.

"What do you mean, overwhelming?"

"I mean seeing her in pain may potentially crush you, and drive you to do anything to stop her pain. Resulting in completing the mating bond, which you two are not ready for."

I know that everything that he is saying is true but I don't really see what he's saying about 'crush me'.

"I understand."

"I would hope so, now one last question..."

This can only mean the worst.

"When will you and Stefanie be returning to school?"

I wasn't expecting this kind of question.

"The monday after we move into the new house." I answer sitting up in my chair.

"Fair enough."

Stef's POV

(Dom's room)

I've just finished packing up all of Dom's shoes along with his socks and boxers.

I'm about to start packing the remainders of Dom's unpacked things when I hear I knock at the door.

I open the door with hopes of it being Dom returning from his chat with his dad but my hopes shatter when I come face to face with Danny.

"Need any help?" She asks rocking on her heels.

There it is again that voice, it's just too sweet. It just puts me on edge.

"Sure come on in."

I invite her in.

As Danny walks in I notice the mark that rests upon her pale neck.

"So, what can I do?"

"Well I'm almost finished with everything but you can put those DVDs in that small box." I say pointing to the small brown cardboard box sitting on the floor.

"Ok. Any particular order? Alphabetical..." She asks sitting on the floor.

"Alphabetical is fine."

After a few minutes there's just an awkward silence between us.

I have no ideas how things are going to work when we're supposed to be living together within the next couple of days.

Dom's POV

(Dad's office)

"Yes, your mother...and I want grand kids but not any time soon."

It's been almost a half hour of my father telling me but not any time soon. I'm pretty sure I get the...

My thoughts were cut off by an ear piercing scream.

I look up at my father and he stares at me.

"You heard that to?" My father asks.

I nod.

We both shoot up and quickly make our way towards the sound.

As we enter the main part of the pack house everyone seems to have beat us here including Stef.

I push past the crowd of people to get to the source of all of this.

At the very center of the sea of people laid max, pale face, wet, and shivering.

"What the hell?"

I quickly get to my hands and knees.

"Max, max can you hear me?" I shout as I check his pulse.

He's still alive.

"Yeah I can hear you, no need to shout." He answers as if he wasn't lying on the ground looking almost dead.

"Max what the hell happened to you?"

"Well I was at the store to pick up a few things, you know and then these to guys just started giving me a hard time, so I left the store and as I was leaving the same two guys showed up at my car."

"How did you get all wet max?" I ask wanting to get to the point of him being wet.

"Hold on I'm getting there. Anyways, I told the guys to move but I guess they didn't like that to much because before I knew it I was on the ground holding my nuts."

"Do you know if they were human or our kind?" My father asks.

"Oh they were definitely wolves."

"How do you know?"

Max lifts up his shirt and three bloody claw marks are drawn right on his hip.

"You idiot why didn't you tell me sooner, you could bleed to death." I yell angrily shaking him.

"I'm sorry but I had to tell you the story."

"Someone get me a towel and a blanket! Dad can you get Mike on the phone?" I command putting pressure on max's wound so he doesn't lose too much blood.

"Dom listen, after those bastards through me into the lake they sped off in a BMW." He speaks through his pale lips and chattering teeth.

"And, lots of people have BMW's. I have a BMW?"

Stef pushes through the crowd and hands me the towel and blanket.

I replace my hand with the towel.

"I got there license plate number." He smiles.

Anyways 1d day was yesterday, and it was AMAZING!!!

I watched the whole 7 hours.
