Stef's POV

"Are you ok?"

I've heard this question probably a million times today and I know everyone is just worried about me but I can only think of one thing right now. Dom.

"Stef? Did you hear me?" Max speaks again.

"Yeah I'm fine, thank you." I add a weak smile so it's more believable.

"Look Stef," he sits down on the couch beside me.

"I know what your thinking and I just want you to know that that wasn't exactly Dom up there. He didn't have control of his actions, jay did. That's why he can't remember anything."

I don't know what to say to max.

I knew it, I knew in my mind that something was wrong, that Dom wasn't himself. He would never purposely try to hurt me.

"He feels terrible about it..." Max sit back on the lazy-boy couch.

I can just see him now with guilt written all over his face. I don't want that.

"I have to talk to him." I stand to leave the living room.

"Uh I don't think that's a good idea." Max says stopping me in my tracks.

"Why is it not a good idea?"

"Well because Scott and Mike think he should stay in containment for a while, clear his head...or something." That doesn't make any sense.

"All he's going to do down there is think about what happened, then blame himself for it. He'll feel nothing but guilt, and I don't want that max. I have to speak to him."

"Ok but how are you going to get in? The whole room including the lock on the door is made out of the heaviest metal." Now that does make sense.

"How do I break into a room that can't be broken out of?" I plop back down on the couch.

"I'll help you get in. I don't wanna see my best friends like this."

I can't help but smile.

"Let's go before Danny comes looking for me." We both stand.

"Thank you max." I wrap my arms around his waist in a tight huge.

He hugs me back.

...

"Why is this door so big?" I kick the huge metal door with the black cast still on my leg.

"I don't think your going to be able to just push this door open Stef it's like the one at the pack house," Max laughs.

"If we're gonna get in we need to know the code to this lock. Dom set this lock so think of some dates like your first date...your birthday?"

"Oh my birthday, the day we met! How many digits are there?" Max begins counting the slots.

"Six."

"Um 07 for July," he starts turning the dial.

"30 for my birthday and 14 for the year." I finish.

Max turns the dial a few more times then we hear the door click.

We both look at each other.

"Well go on, before someone shows up." Max pulls the door open far enough for me to slide in.

I thank max with a hug before I enter the room.

"I'll be right outside this door." He adds.

I nod ok.

As soon as I step into the dim room his scent hits me. Cologne and peppermint.

The only light in the room comes from a ceiling light in the back of the room so I start there.

As I near the light a long metal table comes into view.

"Dom?" I call his name.

Nothing.

He's in here, I can smell him.

I graze my fingers on the cold metal table.

"Dom, I know your in here."

"You shouldn't be here Stef." He speaks but I still can't see him.

"Where are you Dom?" I look around the dark room.

"Are you afraid of me Stef?" He speaks again. I try to follow his voice.

"I wouldn't be here looking for you if I were afraid."

"Why aren't you afraid?I hurt you Stef." There's hurt in his voice.

"turn on the lights and I'll answer that question." I compromise.

There's silence for a few seconds then all the lights in the room flicker on.

"Your answer?"

I turn around to see him right in front of me.

His hair is a mess and he's pale, really pale.

"You don't look so good Dom." I reach up to touch his cheek.

He leans into me pressing my hand to his skin.

"I'm sorry Stef. I'm so sorry that I hurt you. I don't know what came over me."

I wrap my arms around his waist In a much needed hug.

"I know Dom, I know." He doesn't hug back.

"So your not gonna leave me?" I pull back to look up at him.

"Leave you? I would never leave you Dom, unless you wanted me too?"

Is this his way of saying he wants me to leave?

"No of course I don't want you to leave me. I just thought you would hate me and want to leave." He says pushing my hair behind my ear.

"I could never hate you. I love you too much." I hug him again. He hugs back this time.

"I'm still sorry Stef."

"It wasn't exactly your fault Dom, but I forgive you anyways. So no need to feel guilty about anything," one thing does come to mind though.

"Except maybe for accusing me of going to see another guy."

He scratches the back of his neck.

"I'm sorry Stef for accusing you of going to see another guy. Where were you going anyways?" I was hoping he wouldn't ask.

"We're where going to the mall to get max a birthday present." I whisper the last part knowing max is probably still just outside the door.

I know Dom wouldn't tell max about his birthday present if he came but then I wouldn't have been able to get Dom's birthday present.

Max's birthday is in the first week of December and Dom's birthday is at then end of the month, Christmas Day to be exact.

So that's why Dom couldn't come. I didn't want him to see his gifts.

"Why are you whispering?" He whispers.

"Because max Is out there." I point to the door.

His lips form and 'oh'.

"Let's get out of here."

...

Dom's POV

"Pizza's here!" Max shouts.

He enters the living room with the pizza in his right hand.

"I'll get the plates."

As I leave the the living room my phone buzzes in my pocket.

I pull it out to see a text message from Zek.

"What now?" I'm literally just getting my shit together.

I grab the plates from the kitchen then open the message.

Alpha Dom. I see your out of containment. Good because I have a gift waiting for you in your office. Trust me your not gonna want to miss this opportunity.

Zek.

I reenter the living room handing Stef the plates.

"I'll be back, there's something I need to take care of really quick. Max." I call max to follow me out if the living room.

"What's going on Dom?"

"I need to take care of something with Zek. I'll just be in my office, keep an eye on Stef for me. Don't let her leave the living room." He nods and jogs back into the living room.

With that I make my way to my office.

...

When I open the door Zek is standing behind my desk and there's a guy sitting in the chair In front if my desk.

"What's this?" I ask Zek.

"Alpha Dom, I'd like you to meet Damian Sitzmen. Alpha Sitzmen's son."

Damian Sitzmen, this is the little shit that gave Stef all of those bruises and put her in that cast.

"Nice place you've got here. The last time I was here I didn't get to see that much of the place, just your bedroom." I can hear the smirk on his face as he speaks.

My claws are out and around his neck in seconds.

"You wanna say that again?" I want him to say it so I can dig my claws into him.

"Oh I can tell you more than that. Like how I got her in your bed and she stripped for me..."

"Your lying." He has to be.

"Am I?"

"You are, your lying!" My grip tightens around his neck.

"Hey look, it's not my fault your mates a slut. She is a good piece of ass though. Curvy too."

That's it.

I dig into his skin and slowly drag my claws from one end of his neck to the other.

The blood starts to spill.

"It's...funny," He chokes on his last breaths.

"I...I fucked her before you did." He laughs blood dripping from his mouth.

I push a little deeper silencing him and ending his suffering all at once.

When his head falls over to the side I remove my claws.

"Get him out of here." I grit at Zek while he just stands in the corner with a evil smile plastered on his face.

"You know you killing him just put a huge bounty over your head from Alpha Sitzmen right?"

Honestly right now I don't give a fuck if Sitzmen comes after me for killing his son. They messed with the wrong fucking Alpha and had to pay the price.

"Just don't get blood on my fucking carpet." I tell him before I leave my office slamming the door behind me.

I hurry to the kitchen to wash all of this blood off of me.

I turn on the hot water and use dish soap to scrub the blood off on my skin and from under my nails.

"Everything ok Dom?" Stef asks entering the kitchen and opening the refrigerator grabbing a bottle of water.

I scrub faster getting most of the blood off.

"Everything's fine babe." I lie.

"Ok. You coming to watch the movie with us?" She wraps her arms around my waist.

I dry my hands with a paper towel.

"Yeah, what are we watching?"

I turn around to look at her.

All of those things Sitzmen said he did with Stef can't be true she's not like that. I would know.

"We decided on alpha and omega, the animated kids movie." She simles up at me.

"Just let me get a blanket from upstairs and I'll be right there."

She nods ok then leaves the kitchen.

All I can think about now is Stef and Sitzmen together, in our bed. Her screaming his name instead of mine.

I think I'm gonna be sick.

"You ok Dom?"

Great here comes max.

"I'm fine." I say a little angrier than needed.

"Ok don't get your panties in a twist. How did it go with Zek?"

"Fine, it went fine." I lie again.

I can't just tell max I killed a man today. He would flip out.

"Well then, let's go watch this movie." He pats me on the back as we walk out of the kitchen.

Chapter 29 done! To think In one more chapter Alpha Dom will be 30 chapters long. It's crazy! I just want to thank everyone who is reading because without your support I probably would have stopped writing this book along time ago.

Just one question today. How do you guys feel about Dom killing Damian Sitzmen? I even got the chills writing that part.

Also I've been getting great comments on the last couple of chapters and I really want that to continue, wether it's good or bad comments I would still appreciate it if you all commented on this and future chapters.
