Chapter.46

Stef's POV

"Max! I need you!"

After saying goodbye to Sasha and Troye I was too excited to wait around for Dom. So I started getting ready for our, date.

"Stef! What's going on what's wrong?" Max stumbles into my room, panic written all over his face.

"Nothing's wrong. I just need you to help me pick out an outfit for tonight." I giggle laying out the outfits for max to see. He smiles and rolls his eyes taking a seat on the bed.

"I thought you were in danger and you want 'me' to pick out clothes for you?" I nod excitedly. It's only so often that Dom and I go out. Him running a pack and all.

"Come on Danny's not here to help so you're my only option."

"Fine, fine. I will help you. Only because I like you." He smiles as I clap happily.

"Okay, so I don't know where we're going but these three options are pretty versatile for any date. I'll try them on, you tell me which one do you like best."

I step out of the bathroom wearing the first option. A pair of flowy white pants paired with, a pink blouse, and heels.

"Nope. I don't like the pants. You look like a parachute." Max says as I parade around like a model.

"I do not look like a parachute! You really don't like it?"

"Nope. It is not date worthy. At least not this date." He waves me off to change into the next outfit.

I shrug and head back to the bathroom.

The next outfit is way more flattering to my figure. A black pair of jeans cling to my body a long with a long sleeve white crop top that has a pretty deep v showcasing a bit of cleavage. I would pair the outfit with either white or black heels.

"Ehhh. I like it I mean it's way better than the first one but I think we can do better. Try on the last one." Appreciating max's bluntness and honesty I head back to the bathroom for outfit three.

Outfit three is a little cream skirt with a silver belt and a red velvet crisscross top with a sweetheart neckline. It's cute and simple. And it shows off my legs and exposing a bit of my stomach, back, and chest.

"Now that's perfect. You look absolutely amazing and he won't be able to keep his hands to his self. Win-win."

I blush at the thought as I do my makeup, a smoky eye and a deep cherry red lipstick to match my top, then my hair, adding loose curls then neatly placing it all over my left shoulder. Let's just say I have a lot of time on my hands to watch a lot of hair and makeup tutorials on the internet.

"How do I look? Too much? Do I look like a slut?" I ask Max who's still laying on the bed.

"Of course you don't look like a slut. But if you were, Dom would be a very lucky sugar daddy."

I can't help but laugh. Dom? A sugar daddy?

"Thanks for your help Max. I really appreciate it." I take a seat on the bed next to him so i can pull on my heels.

"No problem-"

His phone starts to buzz in his pocket.

"Oh look. It's the man himself." He says smiling at me. Instantly I perk up wanting to know what he says.

"He says he got caught up in a meeting and he'll be waiting for you at capital grille in 20 minutes."

"Twenty minutes?! It takes 15 to get into town!" Good thing I dressed early.

"Then we better get move on if we wanna to get you there in exactly 15 minutes." Max smiles standing up and holds a hand out for me.

Excited, I jump up and take his hand. But before leaving I throw on some perfume and grab my bag. I'm so excited!

Dom's POV

"Where the fuck are you? I said have her here in 20 minutes!" I yell at max through my phone. I'm not worried about the reservation or anything I just that tonight is a very special night for stef and I want everything to be perfect.

"Calm down. We're outside." I hang up as soon as he says outside and make my way to her. I haven't seen her all day and Its making me nervous, anxious, excited...horny, just to see her.

I step outside to see max jogging around his car to open the passenger door. And what steps out of the car makes my knees weak, my chest hurt, and my coçk even harder. My angelic mate, dressed in a sexy, little white skirt, and a wine colored top that showcases her beautiful chest. I can't help but stare at her legs. So long and tempting.

She looks up and notices me with her captivating smile. After thanking max she starts towards me. I shoot max a smile and a nod before taking stef's hand and leaving a soft kiss on it. She blushes that pink-red colour and giggles.

'So far so good.' I think as I lead her to our table in the dim restaurant.

"You know I missed you, all day." She grins sitting down. My wolf purrs knowing that she missed us too.

"I've missed you more than anything. Honestly I couldn't stop thinking about you. And now, right now, you look so, sexy. I mean this distance is already killing me."

Her beautiful smile reaches her ears, pink evident in her cheeks. Tonight is going to be amazing.

It's almost 10 now. We finished dinner, had some dessert, and now we've just been chatting over some wine.

"You ready?" I ask.

She nods grinning.

I stand up and pull out her chair. Then we make our way outside and wait for the valet.

"That reminds me." I say. she turns around and watches me as I pull the long rectangular box from my jacket.

"Dom.." She breathes as I hand her the box.

"Open it."

I hope she loves it.

Slowly she opens the box to reveal the diamond necklace. She immediately gasps.

"It's beautiful." She looks at me with tears in her eyes. Exactly the reaction I was hoping for. I take the heavy piece from the box and turn her around to put it on her.

"You like it?" I ask clasping the necklace together. Then rush down to one knee and pulling the smaller square box from my pocket.

"I love it Dom."

When she turns around to look at me she stops dead in her tracks and covers her mouth like she about to scream. Stray tears fall from her little brown eyes.

"Stefanie Amber Moore. I know my life will never be complete without you beside me to share it. And I promise you, no one will work harder to make you happy or cherish you more than me. Will you do me the honor of marrying me?"

She starts crying. I hope it's because she so happy.

"Yes. Yes I will marry you." She sniffles and throws her arms around me.

'SHE SAID YES!' My wolf beams.

Filled with so much happiness I take her hand and place the diamond ring on her finger. It fits perfectly.

"I love you more than anything pup." I stand up and wrap her into my arms. Kissing and spinning her around.

"Dom wright. My fiancé." She giggleIs looking at her new ring.

"This is what I was actually doing all day. First I went to the jeweler to see if the ring was ready. It wasn't so I went to the other jeweler to pick up the necklace which took hours. Then I went back to the first jeweler and waited for the ring. Then right after I sent that text to max I got a haircut picked up some shoes, changed than came here."

"Was it worth it?" She smiles up at me as my car pulls up to the curb.

"Hell yeah it was worth it. I'm going to marry the girl of my dreams."

I know this took forever but Im honestly done with this book. There's only a few chapters left and that will be it.
