Chapter 28: Forever and Always...

Chapter 28: Forever and Always...

It has been two months since Jayden and Alpha Neal signed the treaty between our two packs and since that day my training as heir to the Alpha title has come a long way. Jayden went back and forth between the Black Moon Pack and our lands quite a few times and like now he was over at Black Moon territory to inform his father of his relocation.

Training always started right after my classes at Northern and believe it or not Tony and Andrew were my trainers. Since Kegan was a warrior wolf by blood and had trained Tony and Andrew personally when they were younger, both of them were highly skilled in combat. Tony was my stamina and agility trainer where as Andrew was more of a battle strategies and fighting trainer. Tony was a softy at heart when it came to training and the more time I spent with him one on one I noticed that behind those striking blue eyes he really was trying to make up for hurting me.

But Andrew on the other hand was an ass through and through.

His trainings consisted of me running five laps around the pack house grounds and then running in my wolf form through the forest where he would try to corner me and knock me off my feet. There were numerous times where I would come back to my room covered in bruises, dirt, an leaves.

And it was those nights Jayden would have a talk with Andrew.

Jayden had unofficially moved into my room because every night we would fall asleep in each other's arms on my bed. But last night I saw a note saying he had gone to meet Alpha Cairstay and missing him I had grabbed a t shirt he had left behind which still had his scent on it. I cuddled deeper into my covers trying to warm my body but without Jayden's arms around me I could never feel warm enough. I laid on my side and shut my eyes trying to get in a few more hours of sleep.

The leaves had long fallen off the trees and one thing I was waiting for was a blanket of white snow to cover the ground. The forecast has been hinting towards snowfall but the fact that nothing had remained on the ground irritated me.

If you didn't know I loved Winter and the sight of fresh snow on the ground.

Thinking about snow and winter I didn't notice my bed dip and when an arm came around my waist sending a shiver through me I realised who it was. I stirred and opened my eyes slightly, he had on a sweater and a pair dark washed jeans and his hair was perfectly swept to the side. His grey green eyes smiled back at me as he pulled my blanket around himself as well.

I began to get up to check the time when he pulled me back down beside him.

"It's still dark Angel. Lets sleep for a while." Jayden said barely above a whisper.

Without protest I wrapped my arm around his waist and tucked my head into his neck.

"I missed you." I whispered placing a small kiss on his jaw.

He looked at me and said, "Andrew didn't bother you too much did he?"

I shook my head and smiled at his question. "No he didn't. And he really is helping me a lot so I can't complain. And neither should you."

"I can't help it. You're mine. And as long as I live I will always worry about you." He said placing a small kiss on my lips. "I love you Angel. It's part of the deal."

I smiled against his lips and I felt my insides melt as he said those words. Jayden just had a way with words that made me love him even more every day, if that was even possible.

He drew small circles on my back with his hands as he watched me. I noticed that most of the time he would just look at me as if I wasn't real or would disappear. I placed my hand on his cheek and moved up onto the pillow. His eyes never left mine as moved my fingers into his hair and drew him closer. I kept him at a distance and I watched his eyes darken. His arms around my waist tighten drawing my lower body against his. Our legs were intertwined and I could feel him along the length of my body.

"Angel. Are you going to kiss me or do I have to lead?" He asked in a husky voice.

I smiled as I moved and placed a kiss right beside his anxious lips. "Good things come to those who wait."

He groaned and in one fluid movement he flipped me over with him hovering above me. "Oh Angel, I can think of a few good things that we won't have to wait for." He said grabbing my thighs and settling between my legs. I hooked my ankles together behind him and placed my hands on his shoulders.

"Oh really now? And what do you have in mind?" I smirked knowing full well what he meant.

His eyes were clouded with lust as he said, "Well it involves you and me. Together in this room. On this bed. Without any clothes."

He placed open mouthed kisses along my neck as he said each sentence and I moaned in delight as he blew gently on his mark on my neck. My fingers were woven into his hair and my legs tightened around his waist as he worked his magic on my neck. He was focussing on one spot and I felt myself coming apart as he licked and nipped at my skin. His hands had found their way under his shirt that I still had on and were gently caressing my sides. He trailed kisses along my neck and slightly bit down on my earlobe making me moaned at the pleasure he was sending me.

"So what do you say? Do you like my idea better?" He asked with a knowing smirk on his face. I knew my cheeks were red and from how tightly I was clutching him with my legs he knew he had won long ago.

Without saying anything I pulled him down and crashed my lips against his. He groaned and with the hands that were clutching my sides under his shirt, he pulled it up and threw it to the side. I arched my back wanting to feel him against myself but with his sweater on I couldn't. I tugged at the bottom of it and knowing full well what I meant he pulled it off exposing his perfect chest. I moaned as our skin came into contact and I felt Jayden's tongue massage against mine.

I was falling apart piece by piece and all I wanted was him.

"I love you so much Jayden." I moaned as he kissed along the curve of my breasts.

"I love you too Angel. Forever and Always."

He was working magic with his mouth and using the opportunity I unbuckled and pushed his jeans down his legs. Following my lead he stripped me bare of my clothes. His eyes drew me in and being gentle with me he slowly brought me to a high that only he could give me. My nailed dug into his back and I felt him groan against me as he moved our bodies together.

"Jayden" I moaned his name as he found his rhythm and pulling the blanket over us he stayed true to his words and indeed gave me something good that I didn't have to wait for.

We woke up after taking a quick nap and after showering we both headed downstairs. As always Alpha Neal had his newspaper and coffee in his hands with Kate was preparing breakfast.

They smiled at me but it was different that their usual smiles.

Did you notice that? I asked Jayden through our link.

What? Jayden said sitting down after greeting Alpha Neal and Kate.

Their smiles. They are hiding something.

You're overreacting. It's nothing. He said pulling me down on the chair beside him.

Alpha Neal peered over his newspaper and I saw his smirking face looking at me and from the kitchen I saw that Kate also had that same smirk on her face as well.

"Wha­­─" I was cut off from Andrew and Tony walking into the kitchen with wide grins on their faces.

They sat down in front of me and Jayden with their grins still on their faces. Jayden was focussed on eating food to notice anyone and I groaned in my mind.

Men!

I gave everyone a once over and not being able to take it any longer I said. "Can you all stop smiling? Just say it if you have something to say."

I looked at Alpha Neal and he pulled the newspaper in front of him and Kate turned around opening the fridge. Tony and Andrew looked at me and looking at each other they burst into a fit of laughter.

"Oh Jayden!" Tony said in a high pitched voice

"I love you Angel" Andrew followed in his impersonation of Jayden.

My face turned beat red.

They heard us in my room!

They were laughing and falling over each other when they saw my shocked face. I called out to Kate but she too was laughing.

"Sorry dear but you two were really loud." She said.

I felt Jayden chuckle beside me and I smacked his arm.

"Hey! It's not my fault I'm amazing in bed!" Jayden said rubbing his arm.

Oh God!

After that eventful breakfast Jayden dropped me off at Northern saying he had to tie up some loose ends and would pick me up when my classes ended. He gave me a light kiss and I saw him speed away in his car. School was the same and since Alpha Neal named me as heir the pack had avoided me as much as they could the first few days but now they had adjusted to the fact that I wasn't the same person they knew before. I was different. I was stronger.

My classes went by fast and before I knew it I saw Jayden pulling up to the curb where he dropped me off in the morning.

"Hey" I said pulling the seat belt around me.

"Hey Angel." Jayden said leaning over to place a quick peck on my lips. I smiled and settled into my seat. He started driving but I noticed he wasn't heading back to the pack house but was a few blocks down where most of the condos and houses were built.

"Where are we going?" I asked as he pulled into the parking garage of a glass condominium. He parked the car in a designated resident's area and came around to open my door.

"Are we visiting someone?" I asked but he just smiled and grabbed my hand. He locked the car and walking over to the elevators he pressed floor 12 and scanned a pass key sending us up. I watched outside the glass windows as the people below us grew smaller. The elevator doors opened and stepping out I followed Jayden as he opened the door with a plaque that read "1220 Cairstay".

We stepped inside and I saw huge windows which over looked the city and university. I could see the forest in which the pack house was built and the view of the afternoon sun behind the clouds was breathtaking. The place was decorated with a modern touch and the fireplace warmed the place giving it a welcoming feel.

"This is your place?" I asked Jayden

"Yeah. I had furniture and our stuff moved in here this morning." he said smiling at my awestruck face.

"Our?"

He smiled walking toward me. He held my hand in his and looking down at our fingers he said, "Yes, ours. I want you to live here with me for the time before our own pack house is built and you are named Alpha. I don't want to continue living off of Alpha Neal and Kate so I bought this flat last month. I want to have a place I call home and I want to make that home with you. I want to come through those door every day and see you, not Tony or Andrew. You. So Layla, will you move in with me?"

I had a huge smile on my face and I nodded, "Yes. Yes I'll move in with you."

He let out a breath and I laughed as I saw his shoulder's relax. I looked around and asked, "So where is my room?"

He smirked and pulling me flush against his chest he said, "I think you mean where is our room."

"Okay. Where is our room?" I said wrapping my arms around his neck and bringing my lips close to his.

He smiled and reaching down he pulled me up into his arms. I laughed as he carried us down a hallway to the last door and kicked it open.

He carried me inside and I saw he had picked black sheets for our new bed as well. I looked around and when my eyes met Jayden's, I saw his were pitch black.

In a husky voice he asked, "Do you know what the best part of living together is?"

"What?" I asked in an airy voice.

"We can be as loud as we want." He said smirking. Our eyes moved to the bed and without a second thought he had me under him and my arms were clutching him close to me.

"Well lets be loud then." I said kissing him behind his ear as I whispered my words.

He groaned at my touch and moulding our bodies as one Jayden showed me a type of pleasure and love that I could never live without.

He was mine and I was his.

We were both broken in our own ways but together we were stronger than ever.

I love him with all my heart and if he is beside me every step of the way, I know I'll be alright.
