"Dada" M said as she was in her walker bumping into every corner of the wall.

Malaysia started to talk a little but she only know Dada and we're trying to teach her how to say Mama but she still stuck on saying Dada.

"Malaysia walk towards the hallway not towards the walls please this is not our house where you can be destructive all the time" I said looking in the mirror fixing my scrubs.

Yes you heard it right scrubs I got the Job I'm kinda nervous but I'm excited as well and I don't have to worry about coming home mad late and stupid drama over money.

I then brushed my 40 inch black sew-in before I grabbed my purse and grabbed Malaysia out of her walker.

"Ok girl you all set" I said after looking through Malaysia's diaper bag checking that everything is with her.

I had enrolled her in daycare and I'm nervous as hell for my baby I'm so used to her being with me or with people that I trust.

But I made sure it was a good responsible daycare and I even talked to the principal there to clarify everything.

"Ok mama we're here now please be good and don't be mean to the other kids ok?" I said as she was tugging on her shade that's on top of her carseat.

"Stop pulling on that before you break it off" I said taking her out her carseat.

"Mommy is so scared for you"I said holding her while walking in the daycare.

"Hello! Is this our new student Malaysia right?" a white lady asked.

"Yes ma'am this is her" I said taking her jacket off.

"Oh how great! My name is Ms. Maple and I'll be working in the baby room which is where Malaysia would be at" She explained.

"Ok great" I said as I followed her in the baby room.

"Look M toys" I said pointing to the toys everywhere on the floor.

"And here is her cubby where you can place all of her belongings in there" Ms.Maple said.

I started to take Malaysia's jacket off and put it in her cubby after I sat her down she started whining reaching for me.

I was worried this was gonna happen.

"No M don't cry ok imma be back your gonna have so much fun and your gonna make new friends too" I said hugging her.

"Dada!" She cried holding on to me.

Ms gurl I am not your dad but go off I guess.

"It's okay Malyasia we're gonna have so much fun were gonna finger paint today" Ms.Maple said.

"It's Ok mom this is normal just walk away she'll be fine" Ms. Maple said as I nodded.

I don't want to leave my baby.

As I was walking out I heard Malaysia screaming and crying for me.

I'm about to cry I can't do this.

I hurried and got into my car and called my mom trying to pull myself together.

"Hello?" My mom answered.

"Mommy I just dropped of M for her first day of daycare and she was crying for me and I couldn't even pick her up or anything I just had to go" I said as I cried a little.

"Aw mija it's going to be ok it's normal for kids to cry on their first day of school and everything shes just used to you always being around her that's all" My mom said.

"I know but it's the fact that I couldn't really do anything about it" I said wiping my eyes.

"It's ok I promise she's gonna be so happy when you pick her up later on she's gonna have fun" My mom said.

"I hope so I'm just so nervous for her I mean she's only 7 months is it to early for her to be in daycare" I asked.

"Obviously not if there are other kids her age in the daycare she's not the only 7 month old in the daycare mija" My mom said.

"Yeah your right I'm just not use to leaving her somewhere other than your house and stuff" I said.

"It's ok you'll get used to it but I have to go, mija love you and when you get home can you put the chicken out I'm making chicken enchiladas tonight," My mom asked.

"Ok mommy I will when I get off of work" I said.

"Ok bye" She said.

"Bye" I said then I hanged up.

I started up my car and drove to the hospital where I worked at.

Surprisingly I was there early so I had time to just do whatever so I just sat in the car and ate my granola bar I packed in my bag.

As I was eating and looking at the window my phone started ringing and it ain't have no caller ID so I just ignore it it was probably them scammers.

Until it kept calling back to back like wtf I know y'all ain't that desperate for money.

"What the hell do you want-"

"You have a call from the correctional facility center of New York city to talk to the inmate press one" the computer lady said.

I just started into space shocked of what I just heard.

He is the LAST person I want to talk to.

I pressed one and waited for something to happen or somebody to say something.

"Hello?" I heard a deep voice say making me roll my eyes.

"Hey Pop how are you"I said into the phone.

" Thank God that you answered I was worried as hell that you wouldn't pick up"He said onto the phone.

"Yeah..i thought you were the bill collectors or something" I said dryly.

"Why you acting so dry you ain't happy hear my voice" He asked.

"No it's not that I'm just caught by surprise that's all" I said.

"Well it shoudve been a surprise you shoudve know I was gonna call you like you are my fiance and the mother of my child" He said making me quickly do a double-take.

"You said, Fiance? since when last time I checked we were broken up" I said.

"Since now the fuck I told you I was gonna marry you when I get out shit we can get married right now at my jail if we wanted to" He said.

What the hell is in the food because they go this man acting delusional.

"Pop we are not getting married your acting crazy right now" I said shaking my head and looking at my watch.

"We are getting married and me you and M are gonna be a happy family and that's just that" he said.

"Yeah anyway speaking of M today was her first day of Daycare and she's saying " dada" too"I said as he sighed.

"I miss her so much man and I feel like a shit ass father for doing what I did in front if her and all the other fucked up shit I did to you in front of her" He said.

"It's ok we both forgive you this is all just a learning experience" I said to him.

"Can I ask you something" He asked.

"Yeah sure" I said.

"Is there a chance that you'll ever love me again?"
