Chapter 21 - Ashley and Hanna

Jades Pov:

The guest are coming now any minute and Lauren is soo nervous. She didn't stop fiddling with her fingers for five minutes and her foot is tapping continuously.

I walked over to her and sat down on the couch next to her. "Hey..everything is going to be great." I reassured her and placed my hand on her thigh.

"I..I just can't help. I mean, I'm meeting your family and friends." she replied nervously.

"They're going to love you." I told her and she smiled a bit.

"Do you think I'm dressed okay?" she asked and I chuckled.

"I think you look great." I answered and kissed her cheek.

Her outfit

"Okay.." she mumbled nervously and I cupped her cheeks and kissed her softly.

"Don't worry, baby." I told her as we pulled away and she smiled.

The bell then ringed and she looked at me terrified which made me laugh. I got up and opened the door.

I squealed when I saw that it was my best friends, Ashley and Hanna.

We group-hugged and then smiled at each other. "Hey, how are you?!" Ashley asked happily.

"I'm great." I replied with a smile.

"And..did something happened in the past month?" Hanna asked with a grin and I blushed.

"Oh my god, what happened?!" they asked exited which made me blush even more.

"She happened." I said while stepping aside so they could see Lauren.

Laurens eyes widened and she gave them a small wave while smiling shyly.

I walked over to her and grabbed her hand. I lead her over to Ashley and Hanna and they smiled at us.

"Guys, this is Lauren. My girlfriend." I told them and their smile widened.

"It's uh- It's nice to meet you." Lauren said shyly.

"Nice to meet you too." They replied and they all shook hands.

We then all walked into the living room and sat down on the couch. "So..how long have you been together?" Hanna asked with a smirk.

"Nearly a month." I answered with a wide smile and she smiled too.

"So..how old are you, Lauren?" Ashley asked.

Ashley is always so overprotective over me. We know each other since we were children and she just was always like this.

"Um..I'm 18." Lauren answered and Ashley nodded.

"You're pretty young." she said and I placed my hand on Laurens thigh.

"She's really mature for her age." I told them and Lauren smiled.

"But she can be a baby sometimes." I added and they laughed.

"I do not." Lauren scoffed and I chuckled.

I leaned in and gave her a small kiss. "How did you met?" Hanna asked as we pulled away.

"Um..I actually live across the street." Lauren responded with a smile.

The bell then ringed again and I stood up and opened the door.

"Oh, Hey." I greeted Sean and he smiled.

"Hi, um..mom told me that your birthday is today and um..happy birthday." he said which made me smile.

"Thank you." I replied while giving him a short hug.

"Uhh who's he?" Hanna suddenly asked while walking next to me.

"Hanna this is Sean, Sean that's Hanna, a friend from home." I told them and they gave each other a small smile.

"Before you say anything more,he has a girlfriend." I whispered to Hanna and Sean laughed.

"Jup, I'm out." she mumbled and walked back to Lauren and Ashley.

"I hope Amy and I are invited too." Sean said and I smiled.

"Of course you are." I replied and he smiled.

"Well I'm going to pick up Amy now so..see you guys later." Sean said and then walked away.

I closed the door and walked back to the others. I sat back down in the couch and laid my head on Laurens shoulder.

"Will Sean and Amy come too?" she asked me and I nodded.

"Yeah, he's picking her up." I responded.

"Nice." Lauren said and kissed my head.
