Chapter 23 - Living with you?

Jades Pov:

I got back inside and walked over to Lauren. "Who called you?" she asked curiously.

"Um..your principal." I replied which made her frown.

"Why would he call you and how did he got your number?" she asked confused.

"Well..how he got my number is something I don't know either and um..he asked me if I could do the choreography for your senior performance and teach it you guys." I told her and she smiled widly.

"Wow, this is great!" she said happily and pulled me into a hug.

"But that also means that I probably won't have much time for you for until Wednesday because I have to make the choreography." I told her as we pulled away.

"I understand that." she replied and I smiled.

"So..when is practice?" Lauren asked.

"Every Wednesday and Friday until one month before the dance." I answered and she smirked.

"So I can show off my hot girlfriend twice a week." she said which made me laugh.

"Wait..but it's okay that we're together, right? Like he said that it's okay?" she asked and I nodded.

"I'm soo excited! But also like..you know I can't dance." she continued and I smiled while gently cupping her cheeks.

"First, you're not bad and second, I can help you more than the others." I told her and she smirked.

"At home." I added and she pouted.

"I have to teach all of you the choreography in a few weeks, babe. We won't have much time to flirt." I said and she nodded.

"I know." she mumbled and I kissed her cheek.

"But if I'll get the chance, I'll use it." she told me and I chuckled.

"Can..um- can you come with me?" Lauren then and I looked at her frowning.

"Okay?" I replied, a bit confused and she took my head and lead me outside.

"What's wrong? You're scaring me." I asked and she looked down while biting her inner cheek.

I walked closer to her and cupped her cheeks. I gently lifted her head and she just started at me for a while.

"I- I don't know if this is too early or if this is the right time but I just need to tell you this." Lauren said and then took a deep breath.

"I- I love you."

My eyes widened at first but then a wide smile appeared on my face.

I pulled he face to mine and kissed her. She wrapped her arms around my waist and pulled me closer. I then pulled away and laid my forehead against hers.

"I love you too." I whispered and she smiled at me widly.

"What happened to you two?" We hear Amy ask and we pulled away.

"Lauren just told me that she loves me." I answered with a wide smile and their eyes widened.

"Shit, Lauren, really?" Sean said exited and Lauren buried her face in my shoulder.

"And I obviously love her too."

It's now a few hours later and everyone is gone now. They all stay at a hotels for the rest of the holidays.

"Babe?" Lauren called which made me look at her.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"Um..everything is good between me and mom again but I still want to live with you, is that okay?" she said which made me smile.

"I'm not like those lesbians who move in with their girlfriend after a few weeks, okay? It's just..I'm so used to living with you and I just don't want to go. We can just be roommates that happened to be girlfriends." Lauren continued and I laugh a bit.

I walked over to her and placed my hands on her hips. "Of course it's okay. And I actually don't really want you to leave either." I told her and she smiled.

"I want to ask mom if I can stay here, will you come with me?" she asked and I nodded.

She took my hand and we both then walked over to her house. She ringed and the door opened after a few seconds.

"Oh Hey, how was your birthday?" Susan asked which made me smile.

"Good, thanks."I responded and she smiled too. We then walked inside and Susan closed the door behind us.

"Um mom..I actually wanted to ask you something?" Lauren started and she raised a eyebrow at her.

"I- I want to live with Jade. I lived with her for the past few days and I don't really wanna leave." Lauren continued and her mom smiled.

"You can stay with her." she said which made us both smile.

"But only because she lives just next door." Susan added which made her chuckled.

"I'll get my stuff." Lauren said before rushing upstairs.

"Jade, I want to apologise for slapping you that one day. I don't know what came over me." Susan apologized while looking down.

"It's okay, you were upset." I replied and she looked back up with a smile.

"So..is it hard to live with Lauren?" she asked and I chuckled.

"Well she often makes breakfast which is really nice." I started and she laughed.

"But living with her is great.I enjoy it way more than living alone. And it's also a very good feeling falling asleep and waking up next to her." I continued and she smiled at me.

"I'm really happy that you're Laurens first girlfriend." she said which made me smile widly.

"Me too."
