Chapter 9 - Gladly

Lauren's Pov:

| February 3rd | Monday |

It's now Monday again and I'm now at soccer practice.I'm stretching while talking with Amy.(Amy is in the soccer team too)

"Hello Lauren."I suddenly hear Morgan say and I look up to her.

"Hey?"I replied confused.

She usually doesn't talk to me while practice.

"How was your weekend with Jade?"she asked and I rolled my eyes.

"It was good."I replied,trying not to smile when I thought about the time with Jade.

"So..how long have you two been together?"Morgan then suddenly asked and I froze.

"W..what?"I asked nervously and she snorted.

"Don't play dumb Lauren."she said and I stood up to run laps.

"I don't know what you're talking about."I said and started running laps.

"Lauren!"Amy called behind me and I slowed down so she could catch up.

"What was all that about?"she asked and I sighed.

"On Saturday,Jade and I decided to go to the park and well..Megan,Emma and Sydney were there too."I started and stopped running.

"And Megan flirted with Jade but she rejected her.A..and I guess she kinda figured out that there's something between us."I continued and Amy wrapped her arm around my shoulder.

I told Amy about me and Jade yesterday and she was literally so happy for me.

"Hey..she doesn't have a prove so don't worry.She's probably just jealous."Amy said and I smiled a bit.

"I guess you're right."I responded and she smiled.

We then continued running laps and a few minutes after that we started practicing.

Practice is now over and I'm walking to the parking lot,where Jade is waiting for me.

When I saw her I couldn't help but smile.I rushed over to her and pulled her into a kiss.I can feel her smile into the kiss which makes me smile too.

"How was school?"she asked and I placed my hands on her hips.

"It was fine."I replied with a shrug.

"What was wrong?"she asked while putting a strand of my hair behind my ear and then placed her hand on my cheek below.

"Well Morgen was annoying."I answered and she smiled.

"Well you're with me now so you don't need to worry about that anymore."she said and I smiled.

"Gladly."I whispered and then kissed her again.We pulled away and then got into her car and she started driving.

Jade then dropped me of at home and I walked inside.When I walked inside I saw mom and two of her friends.Karen and Nicole.

"Hey guys."I greeted them and they smiled.

"Hi Honey."mom said with a smile.

She always is soo nice when her friends are around but as soon as they leave she is her usual self.

"Lauren when will we see you with a boyfriend?"Karen asked.

Never?

"Um..I don't know.I just guess I didn't found the right guy yet."I replied and she nodded.

"Believe me.You will."she said and I pressed my lips together while raising my eyebrows.

"Sure."I responded and then walked upstairs in my room.

I know this chapter is pretty short but the next chapters will be longer again
