When Beauty Destroys The BL World
Irene took care of Mortia. Seeing her condition improves, Irene feels relieved.
Thomas and Bront even checked her condition, to see the patient recovery.
Upon learning this, Michael is happy and glad. While the others, surprised and disgruntled, for their ego were hurt. A woman had surpassed them, from making a discovery of the cure.
Finally, they have gotten a good news to bring to the court. Michael told them the results, without telling nor exposed Dacia involvement in this, upon her request. Nickolai hearing such result, feel satisfied.
He couldn't help but feel proud of Dacia.
She really did find a cure.
Not only that, Dacia even conjures up to incinerated the animal carcasses, which is the source of the disease.
Nickolai does that, without question.
That is how much he believe in her.
A few days, all the patients in the sanatarium recovered.
Mortia hug Irene, to bid her farewell.
"Hope to see you one day, Sister Dacia."
"Just take care yourself, alright." Irene remind her.
"Yes, will do." Mortia then get on the carriage with others as all of them waves goodbyes to Irene.
Irene wave them goodbye feeling happy and fulfilled, again.
As the other physician left and gets inside the sanatarium, only Michael, Thomas and Bront watches as she wave them goodbye.
The three of them see the difference between the woman in front of them and the woman of rumours they heard. It's quite the contrast.
Irene turn to look at them, looking at her smiling. Which makes her feels awkward.
"We are forever grateful and thankful for your help, your highness. You have safe us all." Michael express his gratitude as the three of them bow their head.
"That just something I should do, no need to mention it. Please rise."
Irene doesn't feel right, to see them act that way. She quickly ask them to raise their head.
"Now, what should we do?" Irene wants to know what to do next.
"Well, we will go to the town to town to distribute the antidote for the people there. And also giving food to the people that needed." Michael inform.
"Alright, then we should go."
"No, your highness. You're not allowed to go. It is not safe. Beside this matter, should be handle by us now. You're work is done here." Michael stated.
"But...but, no. Priest Michael, I want to help. I don't want to stop here now. I want to go with you." Irene told them.
Michael smile softly.
"Your highness, as long as you asked permission to the crown prince. Then we will not stop you. But, I will warned you. The environment will not be as comfortable as you usually used to." Michael reminded her.
"Alright, it won't be a problem at all. I will write a letter for the crown prince then. Wait for me."
Irene rushes to her place.
She wrote down a letter and gives it to one of her maids.
Before going out, Irene told Libby to bring out the wooden chest filled with her jewellery.
Libby brought it to her. Irene checked to make sure none of it was the bracelet from her mother.
Once she confirmed it, Irene leave with Libby.
Arriving at the town, Irene helps them distribute the antidote for free. All of the people gathers there, to have a free medication. Leaving the drugstore unattended.
Feeling tired and exhausted, Irene thought to cook food for the people there.
But wanting to use her own money, she and Libby gone to the jewellery store with guards.
"Welcome....dear customer, what can I do for you?" The owner of the jewellery shop come to serve them.
"I want to sell some of my jewellery." Irene stated her business.
"Oh...well then, let's have a look." The owner open the wooden chest, to see it filled with jewellery.
The owner checked every jewellery inside the chest. She took one by one of what inside the chest, that she's interested.
Until...she saw a red amulet inside.
"What is this? Are you selling it?" The owner pull out the amulet.
Seeing the amulet, Irene was shocked.
"No, no...this...this is not for sale." Irene put it on her wrist, fearing of losing it.
"Alright, seeing the goods. I will give you 50 pounds for these."
"I will accept it, thank you." Irene took the money upon receiving it.
She took Libby to the market to buy all the stuff she needed to cook.
Finally done buying, Irene prepared to cook, with Libby helping and the guard gather them firewood to make fire.
As she is cooking, people gather there to taste her food. All of them were attracted to the aroma of the delicious food.
With a generosity, Irene give the food to the people there. Libby even help her, giving it to the people to eat, even to the guards.
Irene then gave the food to Thomas and Bront.
"Thank you, your highness." The two of them thanked her simultaneously.
Finally, Irene passes a bowl of the food to Michael.
"Here, have some, Priest Michael."
"Yes, thank you, your hi...." Michael took the bowl, but stop his mid words when he saw the amulet on her wrist.
Irene who didn't notice his behaviour, is busy giving food to others.
Michael was stunned.
That amulet...he had seen it before.
It belong to.....Lucas. That amulet was the only memento of his deceased family. Lucas has wear since then. Until...he was getting married.
He had told him, that he had given that amulet to his fiancée.
But....why? Why would that amulet ended up at the crown princess wrist??
What is going on? Does that means that the crown princess was actually....Irene???
Meanwhile, at another town...a carriage arrived with a fews guard.
The people in that town look dirty, poor and sick.
A young priest came out from the carriage. Seeing the state of the town, the young priest frowned in disgust. But still, he had to complete his job.
He walk inside a poor stated house, to see....Lucas.
Lucas is busy tending a young boy fever.
"Holy priest...." The young priest greet him.
Lucas turn to see him.
"Pantos, you're here." Lucas was surprised.
The same as Pantos, he was shocked to see Lucas paled and haggard appearances.
"I come here to bear news to you, holy priest." Pantos regains his composure, give the letter to Lucas, bowing his head.
Lucas took it and read it.
He raises his brow reading it.
"You've already found a cure?" He asks.
"Yes, I was ordered to bring the rest of the antidote here." Pantos told him.
"Good...that's a great news...." Lucas then feels dizzy. The lightheadedness makes him shut his eyes.
Lucas fainted.
Pantos hurriedly catches him, before falling down.
"Holy priest!" Pantos realises that Lucas is also sick as he touches Lucas head. He was feverish.
