Yu Fei squatted down and kissed the little guy’s forehead. She patted his head and comforted him. “Xiaochen, didn’t you want to eat chicken wings? Mommy will make it for you when I come back tonight.”

Feng Xiaochen pouted and still looked unhappy, but he said sensibly, “Mommy, you can’t lie to a child. You must come back tonight!”

“Okay. I’ll be back early after work.”

“For what?” Feng Yi asked.

“I’m going to the audition. There’s a movie casting.”

“Hmm.” Feng Yi nodded and walked towards the door. “Let’s go.”

“Oh.” Yu Fei followed him, and the two walked side by side.

Feng Yi’s legs were long, and every step he took was equivalent to two steps for Yu Fei. However, Yu Fei did not feel tired walking with him. Although he walked with big steps, he walked very slowly. She made a narcissistic guess. Could it be that he was deliberately slowing down for her?

After getting into the car, Feng Yi had been resting with his eyes closed. He had dark circles under his eyes, probably because he did not sleep well last night.

Yu Fei didn’t disturb his rest. She didn’t say anything on the way.

When they arrived at Kelly Hotel, Yu Fei picked up her bag, opened the car door, and rushed out. “I’m leaving. Thank you for sending me off. Goodbye.”

Although he insisted that it was on the way, she still had to thank him.

Feng Yi replied with a faint ‘Mmm’ and did not respond after that.

Yu Fei did not expect him to have any reaction, so she said, “Well then, goodbye.”

When she turned to leave, Feng Yi suddenly called out to her. “How long will the audition take?”

Zhang Lin said that this director had a good reputation, so there would probably be a lot of people coming to audition.

Feng Yi got his answer and closed his eyes again. “You can leave.”

After Yu Fei left, Feng Yi opened his eyes again. His dark eyes looked out of the window and saw Yu Fei’s petite figure disappear into the revolving door.

“Go and find out which director auditioned at Kelly Hotel today,” Feng Yi ordered.
