Chapter 37 - Is there? no?

Su Xiaoyue was dressed in stylish all-white sportswear. Her smooth skin had a subtle glow, resembling polished ivory. Her jet-black hair was pulled back into a casual ponytail, with a few strands framing her forehead, giving her a playful look. She still looked as energetic and beautiful as I remembered.

“Hey, what’s with that expression? I mentioned coming over on the weekend, didn’t I? You didn’t even come to pick me up,” she said, noticing Gu Liuyun’s expression, and expressed her dissatisfaction by pinching his face with a free hand.

“Hey, let’s go!” He said.

“No, I will not. This is what you get for forgetting,” she teased.

Gu Liuyun struggled to break free, but Su Xiaoyue had one hand on his face and the other around his neck, so he inadvertently moved forward. The result was that Su Xiaoyue accidentally stepped on Gu Liuyun’s foot, causing them both to lose their balance and fall.

Su Wanyan walked in with a suitcase, gently kicking Su Xiaoyue. She said, “Get up quickly. You might hurt Xiaoyun.”

“He’s tough. He will not get hurt,” Su Xiaoyue giggled hugged Su Wanyan’s arm, and turned to Gu Liuyun.

“Surprised, aren’t you? Unexpected, right?” Su Wanyan asked.

Gu Liuyun was genuinely surprised.

Su Wanyan was Su Xiaoyue’s sister, two years older, and now 25. She had the classic attributes of an elegant and alluring elder sister. “It’s nothing,” Su Wanyan replied with a seductive smile, “I heard Xiaoyue wanted to come see you, and I happened to want a change of scenery, so we came together. Xiaoyun, don’t you welcome me?”

Gu Liuyun reassured, “Of course not. I’m more pleased to have Sister Wanyan here than Xiaoyue, the troublemaker.”

“Alright, so you’re saying I’m not welcome!” Su Xiaoyue immediately took offense and moved to confront Gu Liuyun.

Gu Liuyun hastily raised his hands in surrender, and Su Xiaoyue released him. After they entered the house, Gu Liuyun had just set down their luggage when he saw Su Xiaoyue entering his bedroom.

“What is she doing?” Gu Liuyun asked, puzzled.

“Xiaoyue saw that your bedroom computer was on, and she wanted to check,” Su Wanyan explained, covering her mouth with a playful smile.

“Check? Check what?” Gu Liuyun asked.

“Of course, she’s checking to see if you’ve been viewing anything you shouldn’t have, to uncover your true self,” Su Xiaoyue’s voice echoed from the bedroom.

Gu Liuyun had three imaginary black lines on his forehead, and as he prepared to go in and pull her out, he heard her shout from inside, “I found it!”

Found it?

Hearing Su Xiaoyue’s voice, Su Wanyan immediately fixed her gaze on Gu Liuyun’s face, a mischievous glint in her eyes. Then, she too headed towards the bedroom.

Gu Liuyun began to sweat profusely. Could she have discovered something? Did he have that kind of content on his computer in his previous life?

He couldn’t remember if he did, so he rushed inside to find out. Upon entering, he discovered the two women fixated on the computer screen, seemingly engrossed in whatever they saw.@@novelbin@@
