Chapter 40 - The Fairy Goes to the Buddhist Sect

After purchasing the gaming pod and returning home, Su Xiaoyue still appeared disgruntled.

“Big sister, why is this happening? I said those things, and instead of anyone disapproving of him, all those women began to take an interest in him. Look at the salesperson’s gaze. They want to devour him,” Su Xiaoyue complained.

Su Wanyan, amused by her sister’s frustration, explained, “In today’s society, it’s all about money, and especially when the boss you mentioned is a young heartthrob, those women naturally can’t resist.”

Upon hearing Su Wanyan’s explanation, Su Xiaoyue blinked and huffed in annoyance, “Common!”

Gu Liuyun entered the room at that moment, directing the installation crew to move the gaming pods into the house. He said, “What do you mean by ‘common’? You haven’t experienced the harsh realities of society; that’s why you don’t understand… Oh, please move the pods into this room.”

Watching the installers move the gaming pods into two separate bedrooms, Gu Liuyun felt grateful for having a spacious house, or there wouldn’t be enough room.

Once the installers were gone, Gu Liuyun checked the time; it was already 9 p.m. He went to find replacement bed sheets and covers and instructed them to choose their rooms and prepare their beds while he ordered dinner.

After placing the dinner order, Gu Liuyun went to Su Wanyan’s bedroom to discuss her plans. As he reached the door, his gaze seemed to linger. Su Wanyan, with her back, turned to the door bent over, making the bed in a tight, thin skirt, emphasizing her curves. With her slender legs clad in black stockings, Gu Liuyun’s heart raced momentarily.

Su Wanyan sensed the intense stare from behind, turned around and found Gu Liuyun gazing at her. She playfully narrowed her eyes and asked, “Xiaoyun, do you like what you see?”

Gu Liuyun, a seasoned individual who had experienced life once before, didn’t panic.

He casually nodded and replied with a smile, “Wanyan, you’ve always looked great.”

Su Wanyan didn’t expect him to be so shameless and rolled her eyes at him. “What do you want from my sister?” She asked.

Gu Liuyun, unfazed, asked, “What’s your first step?”

Su Wanyan thought for a moment and answered, “I’ll start by contacting Blood Rose. If that goes well, I’ll acquire the Blood Rose Guild.”

Gu Liuyun nodded and said, “If you need financial help or any assistance, I can provide that.”

Su Wanyan shook her head, moved closer to Gu Liuyun, and lifted his chin with her finger. Smiling seductively, she asked, “Everything else is fine, but can my sister have you?”

Gu Liuyun could even catch a whiff of her subtle fragrance with the proximity. He tilted his head, avoiding her finger, and asked, “You want me to join your guild?”

Su Wanyan nodded and said, “To gain quick recognition in the game, the best way is to have skilled players. If you’re willing to help, I can make you the guild leader, with Blood Rose as the vice guild leader.”

Gu Liuyun didn’t know whether to laugh or cry and said, “Scarlet Rose is a women’s guild, so what’s the matter if I join it as a man.”

Su Wanyan rolled her eyes at him and said, “I’m the boss. I have the final say.”

Gu Liuyun shook his head, preparing to refuse, when Su Wanyan suddenly leaned into his ear and softly said seductively, “Don’t refuse, or I will tell Aunt Gu that you have raised some questionable women outside.”

Gu Liuyun was exasperated and wanted to put this mischief-maker in her place. If she were to go and spread lies in front of his mother, she might rush over to straighten him out immediately.@@novelbin@@

Su Wanyan saw Gu Liuyun’s hesitation and quickly added, “Silence implies consent.”

Gu Liuyun shot her a look and walked away. Su Wanyan asked, “Where are you going?”

“I’m going to freshen up and get some rest. Tomorrow, I’ll take you to the secret realm and build our reputation quickly.”

Su Wanyan watched him leave and smiled mischievously. Su Xiaoyue peeked out from the adjacent room and gave Su Wanyan a thumbs-up.

The next morning, Gu Liuyun went out to buy breakfast and returned to find Su Wanyan and Su Xiaoyue getting ready.

After everyone was ready, Su Wanyan, while having breakfast, said, “I contacted Blood Rose last night. She mentioned that Scarlet Rose is essentially defunct, and there’s no need to acquire it, but she’s willing to help us.”

Gu Liuyun agreed, “I agree with her. Scarlet Rose’s essence is her; the original guild is not crucial.”

Su Wanyan nodded and continued, “There is one aspect where she has reservations. Since you won’t let me reveal your original professional player ID, she disapproves of an unknown stranger as the guild leader. You’ll need to address this.”

Gu Liuyun replied, “No problem. Today, when we go to the secret realm, I’ll bring her along and use my abilities to gain her approval.”

In the Nine Realms, Gu Liuyun and the Su sisters prepared to embark on their journey:

“Welcome to the vast and boundless Nine Realms. Enjoy your game!”

Gu Liuyun was still in the game, on the throne in the main hall. He left the main hall and headed straight for the Secret Treasure Pavilion.

In the pavilion, he acquired a “Spiritual Communication Spirit Jade.”

Upon activating it, he received two friend requests:

[Ding! Player “Su Xiaoyue” wants to add you as a friend!].[Ding! Player “Su Wanyan” wants to add you as a friend!].

Gu Liuyun accepted, and Su Xiaoyue’s communication request appeared. He answered, “Hey, Yunyun.”

Su Xiaoyue asked, “Where should we meet?”

Gu Liuyun inquired, “You’re in the War Alliance, right? What sect is the Wanyan sister in?”

Su Xiaoyue responded, “My sister is in the Buddhist sect.”

Gu Liuyun couldn’t help but be surprised that someone as naughty as Su Wanyan had chosen to practice Buddhism. He hoped she wouldn’t anger the Buddha.
