The Big Day
Forbidden Love || Teacher x student WLW
When the next day rolls around, I find myself setting my alarm an hour early to get ready so as I'm sitting there, perfecting my makeup for the day, I am pondering over what I'm going to day when I walk into that class. What would impress her the most? I decided to just see what happened when I walked in.
I decided to dress in a slightly revealing top and small skirt, which really pushed the boundaries of the dress code, but it had worked in the past.
By the time I reach the school, I'm actually excited to get to her class. I even get there early, making sure I'm not late this time. I am the first to arrive, and I walk in and sit down.
Her husky voice greets me, "Not late today, I see? Well done." I smile, "yeah, thought I'd make an effort. What did I miss yesterday?"
"Surprisingly not much," She replies. "The class could hardly focus. We are now on page 21 of Macbeth."
I smirk, and now is my time to shine! "Have we reached the part where Macbeth starts to hallucinate after killing King Duncan?" I inquired, feigning innocence. Her eyes go wide with shock,
"Not yet. Did you read ahead?" I shake my head. "No, I've read it all before. I love Shakespeare."
She raised an eyebrow, trying to call my bluff. Even if I didn't like Shakespeare before, I now loved him - anything to get me closer to Miss Adams.
"Macbeth may only be killed by someone who wasn't born of a woman... spoiler alert," I shared with her, enjoying her astonished reaction.
"Well, I'll be damned, Miss Black." she exclaimed after a brief pause, "you really do know your Macbeth, huh?"
She looked at the clock and then glanced around the classroom. "Why is nobody else here yet?" she asked. I simply shrugged in response.
Opening the register on her computer, she spoke up, "So, are you feeling better from your life-threatening migraine yesterday?"
I scoffed, "Yeah, much better now." She nodded, "I'm assuming you had a nice self care day yesterday... It certainly looks like you did so." The register loaded, and she then added, "What is business studies foundation? Why are they all on a trip, and why does the entire class take it except you?"
I pondered for a moment, "Uhm... it must be a course they do here. I wouldn't know, I take Biology, English lit and Psychology." Mrs Adams burst out with laughter, "Yeah, right."
Her unexpected reaction caught me off guard, and I couldn't help but show my surprise.
"What do you mean 'Yeah, right'? I do take those classes." I retorted, trying to control my voice.
She chuckled again, leaning back in her chair. "I know you do, but I also know something else."
My heart pounded in my chest as I tried to keep my composure. "And what is that?" I asked, feigning nonchalance.
"You failed everything... twice. You're almost two years older than everyone else sitting their Alevels. Your parents are now having to pay the school for you to be here. You're almost 20. How pathetic."
I gasp. How did she know that!? Of course! It's on my school record but why is she looking? Weird. I gulp and reluctantly reply, "uhhh, yeah well, I couldn't help that. I had some mental health issues."
She dismissively waves her hand at me "I know, I know. I've read it all. You don't need to go into detail."
I let out a sigh of relief, "Well still, don't mock my subject choices. I'm doing well in them."
