Chapter 64: CH 31.2

Shi Ye saw his reflection in Wen Chi’s clear eyes and suddenly chuckled, “What do you say?”

Wen Chi had a strong desire to survive and immediately shook his head like a rattle.

The smile on the corner of Shi Ye’s mouth became deeper and deeper. His smile wasn’t fake, rather it seemed like he was happy from the bottom of his heart.  His eyes narrowed into the shape of a crescent moon, he asked, “Aren’t you very curious?”

“No no no…” Wen Chi didn’t know whether Shi Ye was really smiling or pretending to smile. Anyway, every kind of laughter made him feel creepy, he hurriedly said, “I’m not curious at all. I don’t have brains, I don’t think, I don’t know anything, I’m a simple plankton.”

Shi Ye was a little puzzled: “What is a plankton?”

Wen Chi replied sadly: “It’s an animal as humble and weak as me.”

Shi Ye suddenly snorted: “Maybe even as stupid as you.”

Wen Chi: “…”

This dog prince really is like a dog that can’t spit out ivory1.

At this moment, a sudden knock on the door broke the awkward atmosphere.

Before Wen Chi could respond, the person outside pushed the door open directly and hurriedly walked in.

“Young Master Wen! Have you seen His Royal Highness?” Eunuch Zhu’s footsteps gradually sounded closer. Perhaps because he was too anxious, his voice was much sharper than usual, “Good gracious! His Royal Highness is gone. This servant searched everywhere but I still couldn’t find His Royal Highness.”

While speaking, Eunuch Zhu arrived at Wen Chi’s bedroom.

Wen Chi was still lying on the bed, tightly wrapped in the quilt and said embarrassedly, “Eunuch Zhu…”

It’s a pity that Eunuch Zhu didn’t listen to him at all, he didn’t even turn his eyes to his side and hurried around the bedroom like an ant in a hot pot: “What can I do about this?  It’s all my fault that this servant was so sloppy that I didn’t even know where His Royal Highness was going ……

“That…” Wen Chi stretched out his hand from under the quilt, “Eunuch Zhu, listen to me…”

“Your Royal Highness, where did you go? How can you leave this servant like this!” Eunuch Zhu became more and more sad as he spoke, holding his forehead with despair on his face, as if the sky was about to collapse, “It’s this servant’s dereliction of duty, this servant should die ……”

Wen Chi shouted from the top of his lung “Eunuch Zhu!”

Eunuch Zhu, who was caught off guard, was scared to the point of shivering and only then did he recover from the fear that His Highness was missing and confusedly turned his head to look at Wen Chi on the bed.

He saw that Wen Chi had sat up at some point and was leaning on the head of the bed. He then lifted the quilt off his body.

This time, Eunuch Zhu finally saw clearly that there was a person lying on the other side of the bed and took a closer look- was it not the Crown Prince he had been looking for for so long?

Eunuch Zhu was both surprised and delighted: “Your Royal Highness, this servant finally found you!”

However, Eunuch Zhu’s joy did not affect Shi Ye, not only that but Shi Ye’s face was so black that it seemed like he had been stuck on the bottom of the pot for two hours. He looked at Eunuch Zhu with cold eyes and said, “Zhu Xian.”

The two words icy cold are like a basin of cold water falling from the sky which instantly chilled Eunuch Zhu.

Eunuch Zhu trembled.

Shi Ye said, “Who allowed you to come in?”

Eunuch Zhu bowed his waist and lowered his head and his whole person’s posture was humbled into the dust: “This servant couldn’t find His Royal Highness and was eager to find you, so this servant dared to come in and ask Young Master Wen…”

Shi Ye’s voice was extremely cold: “Roll out.”

“Yes.”

After that, Eunuch Zhu, who almost pissed his pants, rolled out.

After Eunuch Zhu left, he closed the door behind him.

The bedroom fell quiet again.

Wen Chi didn’t expect that Shi Ye would suddenly attack Eunuch Zhu. For fear of  stirring up fire, he hesitated for a while with a pale face, then quietly picked up the quilt that had been lifted and carefully covered it over Shi Ye.

Due to his carelessness, he also covered Shi Ye’s head along with it.

At first glance, it was like putting a white cloth on a dead person.

Wen Chi froze for a moment but was suddenly struck by this scene and laughed.

After laughing out loud, he suddenly realized what had happened and quickly covered his mouth with both hands.

But it was already too late ……

That “pu chi2” sounded like an echo and it lingered in Wen Chi’s ears for a long time.

There was a deadly silence in the air.

which means that bad people can’t say good things.
