Chapter Thirty Five

Zak's P.O.V

'Nova! Get your lazy ass up and come help me!' I growled as I yanked the covers off him.

'Im up, I'm up.' He yawned while he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. 'Good morning beautiful.'

He smiled as he pecked my lips, wrapping his arms round my waist and pulling me into his bare

Things to do and keep an eye on at the same time and I didn't have enough pairs of hands or sets

'Ok, ok.' He said letting go of me. 'I'll get Izzy dressed first and then I'll help Kasper with whatever

He's doing.' He chuckled.

I looked over at our baby boy and laughed myself. Bless him. True to his word he was dressing

Himself. Or at least trying too. He had his trousers on backwards and he was trying to pull his head

'Help Kas first before he hurts himself.' I smiled and he nodded, going to help our little boy.

I turned back to Noah and finished changing him. I blew raspberries on his plump little belly,

Making him giggle, before popping his onesie closed. Noah was in a purple one piece with 'I love

my daddy' on the front and Izzy's was pink with 'daddy's Little princess' on the front, which I put

her in now.

'Right, breakfast time.' I sighed, tired already. The twins were the complete opposite of Kasper.

They didn't sleep through the night but woke at least three times for a feed or nappy change. And

Nova was no help. He slept like the dead and it pissed me off.

'Everything's ready downstairs, they're just waiting for us.' Nova whispered in my ear.

Today was Kasper's birthday. My little boy was a year old already.

'Daddy, can we get pancakes now?' Kasper tugged my trouser leg as he stood looking up at me.

'Course we can sweetie.' I smiled down at him and took his hand in mine. I walked with Kasper

while Nova followed with the twins.

'Happy birthday Kasper!' Everyone shouted as we walked into the living room.

I looked down at my little boy and saw his eyes wide in excitement. He looked at the huge pile of

Presents before looking up at me a little confused. 'They mine daddy?'

I smiled and knelt down next to him, 'yeah, they're all yours baby.'

He smiled. 'Have them now?' He asked so cutely.

'Course you can. Go grab one and bring it over.' I chuckled as he sped off towards the pile of

presents. I got up and sat closer to the pile and Nova sat with Izzy of his lap behind me on the sofa

While Leo held Noah.

'Daddy, look. It's got cars on.' He squealed excited before tearing the paper off. 'Car!'

He pushed it into my lap before running to get the next one. I looked at what he'd got and saw a

remote control car.

'Careful there kiddo,' Micky chuckled as Kasper tried to move the biggest one there. 'Let me move

John sat on the arm chair and Amanda sat snuggled into him. Nathan was sat cross legged on the

Floor with Melany by his side and Ricky and Axel sat on his other side. They all chuckled as Kas

Once Micky had put the present in the middle of the floor and not a second later Kasper was

attacking it, ripping the paper off in seconds.

'Daddy look!' He squealed.

I shook my head when I saw what it was. It was a electric car made to be sat in. I scowled at John

and Amanda but they only laughed. I didn't think they realised he hell they'd unleashed by buying

They put him down and he resumed opening his presents.

After an hour or so he'd finished. Axel and Ricky had got him two outfits and a cute little pair of

Converse shoes. Nathan had gotten him the box set of his favourite show, wacky racers, and a few

Model cars that he had to build. Leo had brought him some outfits also and had got tickets to a car

Show that was in town in a couple months, which he'd already asked mine and Nova's permission

To take him too. Micky had gotten him some toy cars along with a few toys that Kasper had

pointed out to him when we were all out the other day.

Me and Nova had gotten him some clothes, shoes, random toys and a new tv to put in his very own

Room, which we were going to show him after breakfast.

He was old enough now to have his own room, plus there wasn't any space in mine and Nova's

anymore since the twins were born. His room was next to ours and John had made it so it was

joined to ours too. So technically he was still in our room, but had space of his own. We'd also

made a space for the twins too so now mine and Nova's room was just that. Mine and his.

'Come on then sweetie, let's got get something in that little belly of yours.' I grabbed Kas as he ran

Past and tickled his little tummy. He squirmed and giggled in my grasp before begging me to stop.

'Pancakes daddy!' He ran off shouting.

Everyone in the room laughed as I face palmed. His pancake obsession is as bad as mine. Not

good.

The day passed nicely. Kasper loved his room and was now happily playing with the electric car

that John and Amanda had gotten him. John was showing him how to use it while we all watched

And chatted away. The party was in a couple hours and the whole pack was invited. We were

having it in the field a little way away from the pack house, but still on our territory.

'Ricky will you stop doing that.' Axel grumbled.

I looked over and laughed as Ricky pouted. 'But I like it. It feels nice.'

Axel was over a month pregnant. He'd told us the news only a couple days ago though, as he wasn't

'Alpha!' One of the packs guards came sprinting towards us, looking extremely flustered.

'What?' John snarled. He didn't like anyone interrupting his time with his grandson.

'Theres a problem at the cells.' He panted. 'Doc, he's been broken out.'

At his words I shot up from Nova's lap and ran towards Kasper, pulling him out of the car, ignoring

His protests. I ran back to Nova and hid myself in his chest, my body trembling. I saw Leo and

Nathan come close to us with the twins wrapped securely in their arms.

'Its okay, Zak, he's not going to come here. He's not going to touch them.' Nova said softly as he

'Why did it have to be today.' I whimpered. I didn't want anything to ruin Kasper's special day.

'Don't worry, nothing's going to happen. They would be signing heir own death certificates if they

Came tonight with the whole pack present.' Nathan told me. He patted my knee gently in

reassurance before wrapping his arm back round Izzy.

I nodded. I wanted so badly to believe his words, but something nibbled away at me, telling me
