The eldest queen of Shahbeer mehel , Zahanara begum looked at her husband, king shahbeer's picture and caressed it...

Aaj hum aap k bete k saath ek jaroori baat karne jaa rahe hai. Aap k jaane k baad se aap ka beta badal sa gya hai. Bas din bhar rajjya k kaamo mein laga rehta hai. Agar daya ki baat ho toh gareebo k liye, masoomo k liye bohot daya hai aap k bete K dil mein.  Par agar koi gunah kare toh maafi nahi deta aap ka beta. Unke gusse se hume bhi daar lagta hai.

Hume lagta hai aab unhe nikah karwane ka waakt aa chuka hai. Unki begum hi unko sudhar saakti hai. Hume unhe nikah k liye mana na hi hoga . Kuch bhi kar k hum unko maana k hi rahenge aaj!

She asked one of their servants about her son, Sidharth meer.

Zahanara begum ordered him to go and tell Sidharth to meet her. The servant nodded politely!!!

Sidharth meer, a 30 year old,  handsome, brave and generous king , he always helps needy people just like his father. But he hates those who deceive him , who are dishonest and disloyal. Their ultimate punishment is death. He is absolutely ruthless when he is angry and nobody knows how to control their king's anger!

After his father's death, he had to take the responsibility of this kingdom at the age of 14. He doesn't like to talk much. He isn't into girls. Whenever his ammijaan tells him about marriage, he denies politely because he wants to serve his kingdom. That's the only motive of his life.

The servant told him that his mother is calling him. So he quickly went to her room and asked...

Sid: ammijaan hum andar aa saakte hai?

His mother slowly nodded and he entered but the scene in front of him shocked him.

There was a lady, called as  dai maa ( the doctor of the mehel) who was checking his ammi.

Sid: ammijaan kya hua hai aap ko?

Ammi: Kuch nahi beta ! Bas aab humari umar ho chuki hai toh aise bimari toh hoti rehti hai.

He sat beside his mom and held her hand .

Sid: ammijaan ye aap kaisi baate kar rahi hai? Aap ko swaast rehna hai, humare liye aap ko khud ka khyal rakhna hai.

Ammi: beta hum rakhte hai khud ka khyal jitna ho saake. Aab humare pas humari bahu toh nahi hai na? Agar hoti toh wo rakh leti humara khyal.

His mother winked at dai ma and dai ma started speaking...

Daimaa: maharaj wo badi begum saheba ki tabiyaat behaad kharab ho chuki hai. Unse khud ka khyal rakha nahi jaa raha. Umar ho rahi hai iss liye shayed wo bhul rahi hai apni dawai sahi samay pe lena!

Sid: hmm. Ammijaan hum aap k liye acchi dasi ka intejaam karte hai. Wo aap ka khyal rakhegi.

Ammi: baccha ek baar humari baat maan lijiye. Apne suna na kya kaha aap ki dai maa ne? Humari tabiyaat acchi nahi hai. Kabhi bhi kuch bhi ho saakta hai. Humari aakhri iccha samaj k hi nikah kar lijiye.

Sid: ammijaan aap aise maat boliye. Aap ko kuch nahi hoga!

Ammi: beta aap apne maa k liye itna nahi kar saakte?

Sidharth took a deep sigh and nodded while zahanara begum did a victory dance in mind.

Sid: bas ek baat ka khyal rahe ammijaan. Hum nikah aap k waja se kar rahe hai . Taa ki aap ko ek bahu mile.  Par jo bhi aap ki bahu banegi unko keh dena ki wo ye ummed na rakhe ki wo humari begum baan saakengi. Wo bas iss mehel ki bahu ka darza paa saakegi, humari begum hone ka nahi.

Ammi: par Sidharth....

Sid: ammijaan ye humara akhri faisla hai.

Zahanara begum sighed.

Ammi: thik hai jaisa aap kahe.

Soon this news spread like a fire. The king is finally ready to marry. This news had broken so many girl's hearts who wanted to marry the handsome king.

Zahanara begum was super happy. Finally her son was getting married. As expected, there were so many proposals for the king, after a lot of discussion, 3 proposals were accepted and then Zahanara saw that there was a proposal of a girl named noor e salma. She was the eldest daughter of king Sukhdeep. King sukhdeep is a reputed king and he handles his kingdom quite well. Zahanara begum accepted this proposal and went to inform Sidharth.

Ammi: Sidharth humne aap ka nikah raja sukhdeep ki badi beti noor e salma k saath Tay kiya hai. Kya aap ladki ko ek dafa dekhna chahte hai?

Sid: nahi ammi jaan. Iski koi jaroorat nahi hai. Aap ko pasand aa gyi hai wo hi kaafi hai.

Ammi: nahi aap ek baar dekh lijiye.

Sid: ammi jaan aap bohot jiddi ho gyi hai.

Ammi: akhir hum aap ki maa hai. Jid toh humare khoon mein behta hai beta!

Sidharth shook his head with a slight chuckle, then saw the pic of salma. Typical princess with those rich clothes and ornaments. He sighed.

Ammi: kaisi lagi?

Sid: hmm acchi hai.

Ammi: humne unko haan keh diya hai rishte k liye. Aap ko manjoor hai na?

Sid: nikah aap k liye kar rahe hai hum. Aap ka pasand hona jaroori hai. Aap ko pasand aa gyi hai toh hume koi aitraaz nahi hai!

King sukhdeep was over the moon! King Sidharth meer is going to be his son in law! He went into his daughter's room and hugged her.

Sukh: salma beta aap k liye ek bohot badi khush khabri hai beta .  Aap ka nikah hone wala hai, raja Sidharth meer se!

Salma: kya ? Aap saach keh rahe hai baba sa?.

Sukh: haan aap ki behan kaha hai? Unko boliye bohot kaam hai.  Jaiye.

Salma nodded and shouted..... Sanaaaaa humare kamre mein aa jao!

The bird flew in the sky and gul e sana, the beautiful 20 year old girl, full of innocence on her face looked at that bird with a smile.

Sana: aap aab ajaad hai dost. Aap ko ajaad kar diya humne. Ye khula asmaan hi aap ka ghar hai, ye pinjara nahi.

Gul e sana was the most helpful and kind princess of their kingdom. Her beauty, her intelligence and her soft voice, everything about her was so special. She always wanted people to be happy because even after being a princess, she never could feel the real happiness.

Her father , whom she respects a lot, her sister whom she loves, always taunts her saying that because of her birth, her mother had to die. But what was her fault! She was motherless from childhood, in fact she never got love from anyone but she didn't complain . She loves herself. Gul e sana is soft as a flower but if someone tries to misbehave, she knows how to take a stand for herself!

After hearing her sister's voice, she ran and went there!

Sana: ji appi aap bula rahi hai hume?

Salma: humara nikah tay ho gya hai raja Sidharth meer k saath.

Sana: saach mein? Hum toh bohot khush hai aap k liye! Nikah kaab hai?

Ammi: kal? Itni jaldi nikah kaise hoga Sidharth?

Sid: parso hume bohot jaroori kaam se dusre rajjya jaana hai. Aur hum iss kaam ko khatam kar k jaana chahte hai. Nikah hogi toh kal hi hogi warna nahi hogi.

Zahanara begum sighed.

King sukhdeep agreed with this and informed everyone that tomorrow is going to be the marriage of his eldest daughter.

Sana: itni jaldi? Itni jaldi sab kuch kaise hoga baba sa?

Sukh: tumhe kya takleef hai? Waise bhi tum toh kuch kaam karti nahi ho!

Sana looked down and sighed!

She went into her room and looked at the moon .

Sana: hum udaas nahi hai chanda! Aab toh ye roj ki baat hai. Hum appi k liye bohot khush hai. Unko khush rakhna. Wo khush rahengi toh baba sa khush rahenge kyun ki unko appi se bohot mohabbat hai aur humari parivaar ki khushi mein hum khush rahenge!

With a soft smile , she laid on her bed and slept.

Next morning, Sidharth meer reached in king Sukhdeep's kingdom with his mother and some of his close ministers.

King sukhdeep welcomed them warmly.

Sana was looking at the horses, the decoration , people with excited eyes. She loves this kind of celebration.

The kazi told sukh to bring the bride. Zahanara begum excitedly said...

Ammi: hum apni bahu ko khud lene jayenge.

Sukh and Zahanara entered Salma's room but no one was there!

Sukh started calling salma, and asked some servants about her but nobody knew where she was! Then raja sukh noticed a letter.

He read the letter and was shocked. His elder daughter eloped from the mehel with one of their servants and she mentioned that she loves that man.  Sukh sat on the floor with extreme shock while zahana begum was worried. She knew her son's anger!

Sukh looked at begum Zahanara and said...

Sukh: hume maaf kar dijiye. Hume paata nahi tha salma ye karegi. Hum ... hum bohot sharminda hai.

Ammi: humara Sidharth bohot gussewala hai. Aap ki beti ne dhoka kiya hai. Agar unko nikah nahi Karna tha toh wo mana kar dete! Par unhone jo kiya uski koi maafi nahi hai , bas badnaami hai.

Sukh: ek rasta hai humare pas! Humari choti beti gul e sana, uske saath hum raja Sidharth ka nikah kara dete hai.

Ammi: ye aap Kya keh rahe hai?

Sukh: aab koi aur Rasta nahi hai! Humari maafi samaj k hi aap sana ko sikar kar lijiye.

Ammi: aap pehle gul e sana ko unki maarji puch lijiye.

Sukh: uski jaroorat nahi hai.

Ammi: humne kaha aap bacchi ki maarji puch lijiye.

She said with a little anger.

Sukh nodded and went into Sana's room .

Sana was looking at the crowd with happy eyes.

Sukh: sana ...

Sana: jee baba sa?

Sukh: taiyaar ho jaiye. Aap ka nikah hai.

Sana: jee? Hum samjhe nahi.

Sukh; aap ki behan bhag gyi hai apne ashiq k saath. Iss baat ka paata agar sab ko chal Gya toh bohot badnaami hogi. Aur raja Sidharth bohot gussa honge. Iss liye aap ko humare ijjat bachane  k liye nikah karna hoga.

Sana gasped.

Sana: baba sa hum kaise? Hum ye nahi kar saakte!

Sukh: humare liye na sahi aap apni ammi k liye ye nikah kar lijiye.

And sana lost the battle there!

Zahanara begum looked at gul e sana who was looking like a hoor in her red jora, as a bride.  She has never seen a girl who has so much innocence.

She kissed her forehead and a tear escaped from her eyes.

She got a motherly warmth for the first time.

Ammi: bohot pyaari lag rahi hai aap.

Sana: shukriya.

She softly said.

Zahanara smiled and said...

Ammi: humara beta thoda gusse wala hai par ek baar unka dil aa jaata hai na kisi pe toh wo bohot samhal k rakhte hai. Aap unki dil mein jagah baana lengi na toh dekhna wo aap se bohot mohabbat karenge!

Sana looked down as she didn't know what she should say! This man had come here to marry her elder sister and now she is getting married to him.  How unpredictable destiny is!

Her face was covered with dupatta and there was a curtain between her and her would-be husband.

He sat there with no interest. The kazi sahab started their nikah and asked...

Gul e sana, kya aap ko maharaj Sidharth meer apne shohar k roop mein qabool hai?

Sidharth was shocked. His heart skipped a beat as soon as he heard this name! But wasn't he going to marry noor e salma? Then who is gul e sana?

Sana softly whispered...

Sana: qabool hai. ( 3 times)

Then the kazi asked him ..

Maharaj Sidharth meer, kya aap ko gul e sana aap ki begum k roop mein sikar hai?

Sidharth looked at his mother who was pleading him through her eyes to say yes.

With a lot of confusion and anger, he replied...

Sid:  qabool hai. ( 3 times)

She heard his deep and husky voice and took a deep breath.

After their nikah , Sidharth took raja sukh in a room. His ammi followed them and entered there  with sana.

Her face was still covered. He just glanced at his newly weded bride's covered face and asked...

Sid: ye sab kya hai? Jitna hume yaad hai humari nikah kisi aur k saath hone wali thi.

His calm voice was dangerous! Sukh gulped his saliva and said ..

Sukh: ji wo aap ka nikah humari badi beti se hone wali thi. Par wo....wo bhag gyi. Ye humari choti beti hai. Hum....

Sid: bas!!!!!!

He shouted , sana shivered while zahanara begum took a deep sigh.

Sid: hum koi sauda nahi hai. Aap ki beti ne humare saath dhoka kiya aur apne uss dhoke ko chupane k liye apni dusri beti se humari nikah karwa diya? Ye koi khel hai! ? Humne aap ki beti se nikah dhoke k aar mein ki hai. Hum unko khush rakhenge, ye ummed humse maat rakhna!

Sana took a deep breath! Her father won't worry about her happiness. He always treated her like an unwanted child and today she became  A second choice, a deal,   An unwanted bride!

He glanced at his bride whom he didn't see for once and said in his deep voice ..

Sid: ammijaan chaliye mehel mein!

He left the room and zahanara begum took a breath of relief.

Ammi; beta jao apne baba sa se mil lo , fir hum apne mehel jayenge. Der ho rahi hai.

Sana: unse milne ki jaroorat nahi hai! Chalein!!!

Sana started walking without meeting her father! Zahanara begum somehow understood that this innocent girl has been deprived of love!

She held her daughter in law's hand and helped her to sit in her palanquin, Sidharth also settled in his horse and the journey started.

The journey of king Sidharth meer as an uninterested husband and Queen gul e sana as an unwanted bride!  But the Journey can change if the destiny is written like that, isn't it?
