Sana looked at him and then pushed him with all her strength. He looked at her calmly and he made a safe distance from her as he noticed she was crying.

Sana: aap hum se dur rahein. Aap ka pas Hona hume takleef deta hai. Aap ko khud nahi paata aap kaab badal jayenge.

Pehle aap ko nikah hi nahi karna tha. Fir aap hume begum nahi manna chahte the aur aab aap ko hume aise achanak sikar karna hai! aap ka maan har paal badalta rehta hai , hum aise insaan pe bharosa kaise kar saakte hai?

He pulled her closer and said...

Sid: kyun nahi kar saakti aap hum pe yakeen? Insaan hamesha ek jaisa toh nahi rehta na? Kabhi bhi koi bhi badal jaata hai. Hum bhi badal gye hai aur aab hum aap ko chahte hai.

She looked at his eyes which had some unknown kind of emotions but her mind was just too puzzled.

Sana:

hum aap k saath nahi jaana chahte hai. Hum aap k saath rehna hi nahi chahte. Aap hume samaj nahi aate hai. Aap yakeen maane aap k liye hum bas do din ka sokh hai jo jaldi khatam ho jayega!

Aap Kripa kar k humse dur hi rahein kyun ki humare pas aa k bhi koi fayda nahi hai.

He asked in a low calm voice ...

Sid: aap hume ek moka kyun nahi de saakti?

Sana: hum ek khilone k tarah istemaal nahi ho saakte. Aap jo marji karein , jaise marji rahein, bas hum se dur rahein aap samjhe?

Sidharth's jaw was clenched!

He looked away and didn't say anything. He called one of his men and told him to bring the hidden palanquin.

She gasped with the information .

Sana: apne palki chupane k liye kaha tha?

He didn't bother to reply to her. The palanquin was there in 15 min. And in this 15 min , sana and Sidharth were standing in a safe distance with silence. She was glanching at him from time to time. But he didn't look at her. It surely affected her but she chose to keep her mouth shut.

Sana sat in her palanquin and Sidharth sat in his horse. The journey again started and they reached in the palace. But the journey was not as smooth as it was when sidnaaz were riding the horse together .

Sana's mind was confused - if she wants to stay away from him, if she doesn't trust his intentions, then why she feels protected and safe around him?

They both met zahanara begum who hugged her kids lovingly. Sidnaaz hugged her with little smiles on their faces.

While hugging her they both looked at each other for some seconds. Sidharth broke the eye lock and said...

Sid; ammi aap kaisi hai?

Ammi; aab humare bacche aa gye toh hum bure kaise reh saakte hai? Bohot acche hai hum bacche! Agli baar kahi jao na toh jaldi wapas aaya karo. Dil nahi lagta humara aap dono k bina.

Sidharth nodded a little and left the room. Sana and ammi spent some quality time together.

After some time, sana was looking at the moon. She was busy in her thoughts.. she wants him to stay away from her but when he does that , she doesn't like it. Why!

She heard some female servants of the palace saying- aaj shehenshah pehli baar nach dekhne gye hai. Unko iske pehle kabhi bhi aurto ki adaayo pe fida hote hue nahi dekha. Pehli baar woh itna anand utha rahe hai.

Sana's heart was becoming sad ! She went a little closer to hear the conversation more clearly as she had no idea that Sidharth is enjoying a dance party.

Arey shehenshah ko toh nikah bhi nahi karna tha par dekho unhone kitni khubsoorat ladki se nikah ki hai. Toh fir unko kisi aur aurat ki adayo ko dekhne ki kya jaroorat hai?

The other servant made a face and said - nayi dulhan k tebar dekhe hai tumne? Woh shehenshah ko apne pas bhi nahi aane deti hai.  Dekho pehle shehenshah ko koi fadak nahi parta tha aurto se par aab unhone nikah ki hai toh unke bhi kuch sokh honge na?.

Matlab? - the other servant asked confusingly.

Tum bhi na , bohot buddhu ho. Mana ki shehenshah ki begum bohot khubsoorat hai par uss khubsoorti ka kya fayda jo apne shohar ko kaabu mein hi na rakh paaye? Aab shehenshah bhi toh ek maard hi hai na? Unke andar bhi kuch jajbaat honge. Jab woh jajbaato ko pura karne ka haaq unke begum unko nahi degi toh woh dusri aurto k pas toh jayenge hi na? Akhir iss rajjya ko bhi iska vansh chahiye.

The other member nodded and said- sahi keh rahi ho. Humare shehenshah ek kyun daas nikah kar saakte hai. Unko kon rokega? Unki ye wali nikah toh jabardaasti ka nikah tha.  Par shayed agli baar unko kisi se mohabbat ho aur woh nikah kar le.  Aur fir unko dusri aurto k pas bhi na jaana pare!

Sana ran towards her window and started breathing heavily. Her tears were rolling down from her eyes. That conversation which she heard just now , affected her so much .

Her heart had built so many insecurities, what if whatever she heard, turns out as truth?

What if he marries someone? What if he touches someone? What if he falls in love with someone?

What is your problem then? You don't even like him right? Let him do whatever he wants! - her mind reminded her.

But her tears didn't stop. She couldn't even think about sharing him with someone else. She didn't know what was she feeling but she didn't want him to be anyone else's.

She looked at the mirror and remembered all the incidents where he had requested her to give a chance to their marriage, to him but her past had compelled her to push him away.

Because of her bad childhood, she couldn't trust him and now what is happening? He is enjoying with another women ?

He is so good looking, he is such a strong headed and kind king. He is literally perfect.  He can get anyone. He can Marry anyone . Nobody can question his decision but her heart was getting angry..

She is not ready for all this. She can't do all this. She can't see him with someone else! Why? She doesn't know. After he left from his ammi's room, she hasn't seen him till now.

Sana's pov:

Ye hume kya ho raha hai? Hume bardaas kyun nahi ho raha ye sab?

Unka kisi aur k saath hone k khyal se hi hume pareshani kyun ho rahi hai?

Humne khud hi unse kaha tha na ki humse dur rahein woh? Humne hi unpe yakeen nahi ki thi na?

Toh aab jab woh humse dur hai toh hume itna daard itni bechaini kyun ho rahi hai?

Kya kare hum?

She cried but quickly wiped those tears as her mother-in-law entered in her room .

Ammi: sana beta taiyaar ho jaiye. Sidharth ko sab se Kuch jaroori baat karni hai .

Sana nodded and got ready.

When she sat with his ammi behind the curtain, she looked at his handsome face through the curtain.

But her heart became painful because he didn't look at her for once.

Her heart mocked-  You wanted this distance right ? Then bear it.

Sidharth talked about the necessary steps for the development of his kingdom.

Sana's heart pained when he said- hum apne rajjya k liye kuch bhi kar saakte hai. Humare dil mein bas ek hi cheez k liye mohabbat hai woh hai humara rajjya kyun ki humare rajjya ne kabhi hume raja manne se inkar nahi kiya. Humare iraado pe shaaq nahi kiya.

Sana knew he is indirectly taunting her and she deserved it.

One of his men said - kafi rajjya ko bina jaang k jeeta jaa saakta hai maharaj aur uska haal hai nikah. Aap se bhala kon bewakoof nikah na karna chahega? Agar kal jaa k aap ko dusri nikah karna para aap karenge?

Sana looked at him eagerly. He glanched at her for nanoseconds and replied..

Sid: hum apne rajjya k Khushi k liye taab taak sab kuch karenge jaab taak humara nikah ek samjhota rahega. Agar kisi din Hume mohabbat ho jaata hai toh hum apne mohabbat se dagabaazi nahi karenge. Par agar humara nikah bas ek jimmedari hai aur hum uss nikah k rishte ko kisi tareeke se aage na badha paaye, Hume duriyaan rakhne k liye bola jaye, taab hum humare rajjya k behtaari k liye nikah bhi kar saakte hai kisi aur se aur hume maloom hai humare jabardaasti nikah kiya hua begum ko usse koi fadak hi nahi parne Wala.

His ammi stopped him.

Ammi: Sidharth ye aap kya bol rahe hai? Aap ki abhi abhi nikah hua hai. Iss rishte ko nibhane ki kosish toh karein.

Sidharth looked at sana and said...

Sid: ammi ! Hum mohabbat mein junoon dikhana jante hai , jabardaasti nahi.

Saying that he left from there. Though his statements were confusing for everyone else but for sana, his statements were clear.

The way she was telling him again and again to maintain distance, it was hurting him.

He is a ruthless king who never gave chance to anyone, who never tried to win anyone's heart, who was never soft with anyone , who never smiled in front of someone, was changing, was trying to be an ideal husband for his wife.

Because his heart started liking her and he gave value to his heart but what did he get in return? He tried his best to console her for her bad past and hold her hand to walk with her towards a bright future but she didn't show enough trust on him and it affected him.

Now he was doing exactly what she wanted him to do.

He saw her eyes were teary. But what about him? His  feelings were genuine too. Just because he doesn't know how to show his emotions, doesn't mean he doesn't get affected.

She wanted distance between them and he was obeying that only.

She ran and laid on her bed, she cried for the whole night. And he didn't sleep for the whole night.

A night which seemed longer  and painful, confusing and heartbreaking.

Sometimes a pure love story starts with a hint of distance !

And the king and his queen were maybe walking towards that path only!!!!!!!!
