'You're going to be a parent now so all this drinking has got to stop, Same with the drugs, where are they?' Amelia asked. Charlie just shook her head laughing. 'This ain't happening, it's my life and I can do whatever the fuck I want'. It fell on dead ears as Amelia started opening all the draws and making her way to the bedroom.

She opened the side draw by Charlie bed and found everything. She grabbed all the pills and powder and started making her way to the bathroom. Charlie ran behind Amelia realising she found them. 'Amelia please put them back, you've got rid of the alchol but don't touch them please'. You could hear the fear in Charlie's voice.

'They need to go Charlie, you have a problem and like I said before we're gonna get through it together. I am here with you and I'm not going anywhere. But these drugs need to go and you need to get clean. I can't raise a baby with an addict, so I'm giving you a choice. You stay with me and our baby and get clean. Or you chose drugs and alcohol and never see me or your baby again'. That was a lot for Charlie to take in. She knew which one she needed to choose. But her mind was spiralling to the drugs. They have helped her through everything. She thought. Not realising the actually effect they are having on her.

Amelia could see Charlie's eyes going back and forth from the drugs in her hands to her stomach. She didn't want to do this to Charlie but she knew she had to. She didn't want to raise a baby alone and she definetly didn't want it to grow up around drugs and alcohol. So the only thing left was giving Charlie a choice.

'What about you and your wife?' Charlie asked sliding down the wall to sit on the floor to cool down as the effects of the alcohol was kicking in. Amelia did exactly the same sitting next to Charlie as there shoulders touched. She took Charlie's hand in hers. 'We're getting a divorce, I don't want to be with her. Since I've met you Charlie you've been an absolute pain in my ass but over time I started to realise I was falling for you and yes I ran away from it at first, but I don't want to run away anymore. I want us to be together. As a family'.

'I choose you' Charlie said. Amelia smiled at that and turned to Charlie with happy tears. 'I'll always choose you Amelia'. Amelia didn't hesitate she grabbed Charlie's face softly kissing her. The sat on the floor for about an hour talking about their feelings and how in-love with eachother they are. That was definetly enough reason for Charlie to get clean.

'So did you want to raise the baby here with me when it comes' Charlie asked motioning to her apartment. Which was definetly big enough for a family. 'I mean it's only a start, once we've settled we can get something better' Charlie started rambling so Amelia just kissed her and wrapped her arms around her neck and started playing with her hairs on the back of her head. 'I will be more than happy to raise our baby here Charlie'. They both smiled lovingly at each other.
