As Charlie was swaying Lilly in her arms she felt something in her hoodie pocket as she sat down. She placed Lilly in her other arm and looked in the pocket. She pulled it out and gasped at what it was. 'Sneaky mother fucker' John had managed to place the pills and heroin in her pocket before she threw him out. She gulped loudly not knowing what to do. She placed Lilly in her cot whilst she stared at the drugs that were on the coffe table.
'Fuck sake' she spoke walking around the room with her hands in her hair. She knows she shouldn't even look at them. But they are looking so tempting right now. She knew Amelia would be pissed, and she knew it wasn't worth loosing them both over. As she's already told Charlie, if she relapses more than once. She's going to rehab and not seeing Lilly until she's clean for at least a year.
Meanwhile Amelia had made her way to the bank her and Charlie set up a savings account together. Which was for both of them. But Amelia knew she needed to keep John quiet and she knew Charlie didn't know anything to do with banks or even stepped in a bank. So she walked up to the lady behind the til. 'Ma'am are you sure you want to withdraw this much money' the worker asks. Amelia sighs then nods her head. She gave quick thank you before heading to Johns.
She slammed on the front door, and John opened it with a sly smile. 'Amelia , or do you prefer Mrs Cruz?' He asks taunting her. Amelia throws the envelope filled with cash at his chest. 'There's 100 grand there, you leave Charlie and me alone. You are never to step foot in our home again. And you are not to tell Charlie about this. She does not need you in her life. So you go'. John looked in the envelope and shook his head approvingly. 'Tsk I guess Charlie doesn't know you're here... you know this will come back to bite you in your ass. Keeping secrets from someone you claim to love. This isn't gonna end well'. Amelia rolled her eyes and walked back to her car.
Luckily for Charlie she had got rid of the drugs by the time Amelia came home. She didn't take any. She just lit a cigarette which Amelia doesn't know about. But it's better than drugs. Charlie jumps as the door of the apartment is flung open. 'Hey I thought you were going to the store?' Charlie asks confused. Amelia also gave Charlie a confused look forgetting that's what she told her then luckily for her she remembered. 'Oh yeah they didn't have what I wanted so I didn't bother, so is my bath ready now, I am totally ready to be pampered by you' Amelia says. Changing the conversation quickly so Charlie doesn't suspect anything.
'Right through here love' Amelia follows behind Charlie putting her hands over her mouth and started to tear up. Charlie was confused as it wasn't much it was literally a bubble bath with some of her favourite chocolates on the side. Charlie looked at her quickly as she heard her sniffling. But before she could ask what was wrong. Amelia spoke up. 'Happy tears baby' Charlie just smiled at her.
Charlie went to walk away but Amelia pulled her hand towards her 'aren't you getting in you idiot?' Amelia smirked at her. 'Just thought you would want to relax and be on your own'. 'Charlie get undressed and get in the bath now'. She stripped straight away jumping in behind Amelia. Amelia lying on Charlie's chest whilst she rubs patterns on her thighs. 'I love you so much I hope you know that' Amelia comes out with. 'I love you too, is everything ok?' She just nods her head against Charlie's chest saying yeah.
