A week had passed and Charlie had nearly fully healed. All she thought about was getting John back. She hated him. Hated what he was doing to her family. She was going to put an end to it once and for all. 'So you're sure you're okay to stay in with Lilly while I go out? I shouldn't be too late just a few drinks with the girl' Amelia spoke walking into the room putting her earrings in. 'Yes baby I've told you a hundred times go out and have some fun. You deserve it' Charlie said with a smile.
Charlie drove Amelia's to the club where she was meeting the rest of the girls. 'Right call me if you need anything okay love?' Amelia kissed Charlie then left walking into the club with Hayley. Charlie started her car making her way over to johns house. She wasn't going to do anything. She just wanted to watch what he does and at what time. She made a detour and picked Jay up. 'So you're stalking him basically?' Jay asks with an amused smile. 'I'd say stalking is a-bit far more of just keeping a watch to see what he does' 'sounds like stalking to me' Jay replied. But Charlie just punched him in the arm to shut him up.
As they were both staring out the window into johns house intensely they both got startled when Lilly started crying. They both put their hands over their chest and looked at each other 'I think it's time to go' Jay says signalling Charlie to drive. They arrived home after she dropped Jay off and thanked him for sitting with her. She fed Lilly changed her and they both sat on the couch watching Disney films as that's the only way Lilly will settle.
Amelia stumbled into the apartment tossing her shoes to the side the same with her purse her heart melted when she looked on the sofa and saw Charlie and Lilly there cuddling and sleeping. She didn't want to wake them up but she also wanted to be involved with the cuddles so she slowly moved herself onto the couch. Thankfully it was big enough for them all and laid behind Charlie spooning her. She laughed to herself knowing Charlie would hate it when she found out she was the little spoon. She kissed them both on the head then fell alseep her self.
Charlie was woken up by someone playing with her hair. She lifted her head up slightly snd saw it was Amelia 'hello love, what Time did you get in?' She asked rubbing her eyes to wake herself up more. 'Around 2 but you both were sleeping on the couch and it made me jealous so I snuck in' Amelia says with a laugh. Charlie suddenly realised the potions they were in. She's the little spoon. Charlie looked at Amelia with a serious look Amelia just burst out laughing knowing where it was going. 'You know what, it was actually pretty comfy being the little spoon I think we should do that more often' Charlie says picking lily up and swaying her. Amelia jumped up off the couch. 'No way you said you hated being little spoon, you can't just change it. I'm always the little one' Amelia pouts like a child. All Charlie could do was laugh at her childish antics.
'Remember baby I have that meeting tonight with the guy who's selling me the shop' Charlie shouted out to Amelia. 'Yes Charlie I remember' Amelia came round and hugged Charlie from behind. 'What time will you be home?' 'Shouldn't be too late just got to sign some stuff and look over contracts and all that boring shit'. Charlie was lying through her teeth there was no meeting. There was no contract. She was going to see John. 'Why is the meeting going to be so late? Are you going to be drinking there?' Amelia asked worried. Charlie turned to face her. 'I'm not going to be drinking babe, I can promise you that, and I don't know. I don't call the shots baby, well not yet anyway' she winked at Amelia.
Charlie got dressed in a suit to make it look like she was off to a business meeting as Amelia told her she couldn't wear jeans and hoodie. So once she got ready she kissed Amelia on the head and made her way to the front door. 'Please stay safe honey, and please no drinking. If you do decide to have a drink call me to come pick you up' Amelia says straighten out Charlie's tie but basically choking her with it when saying about the drinking. Knowing she doesn't actually mean it. And if Charlie does drink she'll be on the couch tonight.
