Chapter 20

Jessica's POV

I woke to an empty room. It was dark outside and the only light came from the moon shining through my window. I felt sad to see that Tyler had left, my heart and body ached for her to stay with me in this one spot. Yearning for her soft delicate touch against my skin. To hear her voice speak softly in my ear and to feel her gentle lips against mine. It's no secret that somewhere down the line my feelings for her grew tremendously.

I feel back onto my bed. Sliding my finger against the area where she had just laid.

I was drifting back to sleep when a sudden tapping out my window made me jump. I turned to see Tyler with a cup hold in her hand and one of my old book bags on her back. I quickly opened the window and pulled her in.

"Hey hey hey! You make me drop these and I might kick you in the vagina." She said before kissing my cheek.

I turned on my room light and back around to see her pulling bags out of my book bag.

"Baby where did you go?"

"Store. Got us some snacks then I went to red box and rented that corny romance movie you were talking about wanting me to watch."

"The Best Of Me?"

"Yeah." She said still pulling endless snacks out of her bag. I grabbed her hand and used my other to lift her chin making her look me in my eyes.

She licked her lips as I pulled her towards my bed and pulled her jacket off her body. I gently pressed my lips to hers. Sparks flew everywhere, my stomach knotted and my heart skipped a beat as she pulled me impossibly close to her.

She slowly broke the kiss and looked me in my eyes.

"I love you." She spoke softly. I could hear the hesitation and pain in her voice. Her eyes pleaded for me to say it back.

I held her hand in mine. "I love you too." I said smiling really hard at her.

She picked me up and laid me on my bed before turning the movie on and the lights off. We shared a huge bag of gummy worms.

About halfway through the movie she paused it and sat up.

I mirrored her action and eyed her curiously as she stared off in a daze. It was dark but the light from the tv was enough for me to see her eyes begin to water . She pulled me onto her lap and looked me in my eyes. She hugged me, throwing her face into my chest and holding me tightly. I caressed her and placed her face in my hands forcing her to look at me.

"I want you Ty, forever. I don't want you to leave when the year is over. I don't want to ever be apart from you. I want to be with you for the rest of my life and never have to worry about anybody else because now I realize that you're all I want. That feeling I have when you're not around.... I don't like it. And I don't want to feel it. I want to feel your soft touch every morning and night. I want to wake up to you still asleep and be able to kiss you. I want you to hold me every night really tight because it makes me feel safe, like there's no better place for me to me. I NEVER EVER want to lose you. And I may not be your first love but I want to be your last, I'm going to be your last because I'm not letting you slip away from me. Tyler when I say I love you I mean it... I was scared before but I didn't know how to open up and I'm so sorry..."

My words drifted off as I felt the warm tears falling down my face. She gently wiped them away and laid back with me in her arms.

Nothing else needed to be said.

This was perfect.

Everything about this moment was completely perfect.

She kissed my cheek and held me tight.

Not letting me go even as we drifted to sleep.

Okaaaaay ! So like ... I'm back :) . Going to finish this story and a new one I'm just about half done with called "Help Me". I have about three chapters posted already so check that out for me. :) I apologize for the very late update but they'll be more frequent.
