Change Me - Chapter 5

*The Next Week in Photography Class*

Tyler's POV 💭

" In this class for the rest of the year you all will be assigned permanent partners for any further assignments", i listened to my teacher say," and the pairs have already been Pre-selected ."

Then she started calling out names .

"Connie & Torrence ........ Matthew & Drake ....... Josh and Derek ( great somebody stole Derek!) .... Jessica and Tyler .... James and Kyle ..." And so on and so on .

I can't believe she paired me with Jessica ! Not that there's anything wrong with it but .. I'm kind of in the process of falling back .

I glanced back at her to see her already looking at me , then I turned back around and smiled to myself . Maybe this won't be bad after all .

I got our first assignment paper and our project camera and sat next to Jessica .

"Can we not make the awkward .. " I asked

She agreed as we started to go over our assignment sheet . It was a two part nature shot assignment . Three action shots of our partner outside and then three of birds or insects . All with creative captions . It sounded simple enough . So we decided to work on the project Friday after school since today is Thursday and the project isn't due until the next Monday .

*Friday After School *

Jessica's POV 💭

It was six o'clock and I had gotten here early so Tyler and I could get started .

"No funny business ." I reminded her .

" Whatever ... Just stand over there and look cute ." She smirked at me , motioning towards the lake .

" How do I make this look like and action shot ?!"

" I dunno ! Do something !"

I shrugged not knowing what to do . Then I looked over at Tyler who was making funny faces at me which made me laugh . And without me noticing she took the picture .

"See , action shot !" She laughed

We figured out how to do the other two then we switched .

Tyler sat near the lake for her first shot . She looked out towards the lake , squinting like the sun for the sunset was in her eyes . And I have to admit that shot was pretty sexy . For the next one she skipped a rock and for the last one she took her shirt off and hung from a tree branch. Revealing her toned body . Now THAT was really sexy .

WAIT NO ! I need to stop thinking like this I have a girlfriend .

"Put a shirt on dork." I said laughing

"Maybe I will when you stop starring." She shot back

"Starring ? At what ??" I said acting confused

"All this sexy-ness !" She said rubbed her stomach

"Whatever helps you sleep at night." I threw her shirt at her and we sat Down at a picnic table to enjoy our snacks .

"So what about the bird shots?" She asked

"Tomorrow morning?"

"Its a date."

"Not a date , I have a girlfriend!"

"Calm your tits I know , I was joking."

"But ...." I started

"But?"

" I will get to know you like you wanted me to."

And with that she started to tell me everything from the beginning until now .

"Wow you're right ... Maybe I really didn't know anything ."

"Told you ." She said plopping a grape into her mouth . "Now tell me about you."

"Well ... I get straight A's .. Live with my parents in a neighborhood full of snobs.. My mom hates that I'm gay .. My girlfriend in awesome and ... Yes that's it . Nothing to really know ."

"Aww look at little miss perfect."

Just then I got a text from Demi .

It read :" you're fucking 15 minutes late! Where the hell are you?!"

I check the time and realized it was eight and I was supposed to meet Demi for a dinner date . Then I noticed Tyler looking at my phone.

"Listen I really have to-"

"No explanation just go .."

"Thanks for understanding ." I said as I was getting up but then she grabbed my hand

"She's seems pretty controlling from the messages... Are you gonna be ok?" She asked obviously concerned

"Yeah I'll be fine." I said knowing I was lying and knowing what might come next .

When I got in my car I texted Demi :"Got caught up with the project baby, don't be upset . I'm Omw and remember what you promised ."

"What did I promise?!" She replied rather fast

"That you wouldn't get easily angry anymore and hit me again..."

"I know I know , just hurry and get here I miss you . "

And with that I headed to Demi
