The pair turned back.
âAmelia?â
Bella widened her eyes in joy and let go of Justinâs hand. She ran to Amelia, who stood alone by the road, and gave her sister a warm hug.
âHow long have you been waiting? Why didnât you wait inside? Wilma is in the house. She recognizes you. Why did you wait here?â
âIâm sorry to come unannounced, Bella. Sorry to bother you and Justin.â Ameliaâs fragile voice tugged on heartstrings.
âDonât say that, silly girl. You have no idea how much I miss you.â
Bella rubbed Ameliaâs face with a smile. âJustin just said two days ago about bringing us on a trip around the world after everything quiets down.â
Justin was taken aback at first, but he soon smiled to himself.
Amelia saw Justin as part of the family a long time ago, but when Bella included him in conversations, Justin was filled with overwhelming happiness.
Bella raised her brow cheekily. âHeâs paying for the trip anyway. Justin has an unlimited Centurion card.â
Justin curled his lips dotingly.
Bella was generous to others at his expense.
Justin owned a Centurion card with a limitless balance, but Bella and her brothers had several to their names. Still, she wanted to spend his money. Bella was definitely about family, even keeping money in the family.
However, Justin would not change that for the world.
It was pointless to keep money in the bank. Money was supposed to be given to his wife anyway.
âOh, I canât possibly accept that.â Amelia blushed shyly.
âIâm serious. Donât be shy about taking his money.â
Bella blinked. âYou can have money saved up for your wedding with Steve. Itâs only a matter of time before you tie the knot.â
Amelia pursed her lips worriedly.
"Huh? Are you alone? Didn't Steve come with you?" Bella asked in surprise.
"I didn't tell him that I would be here to meet you." Amelia looked like she had a lot on her mind.
Seeing that her mind weighed heavily on her, Justin said tenderly, "Bella, Amelia must have a lot to share with you. Let's head inside."
"Sigh. Look at me. I went on talking without inviting you inside."
Bella took Amelia's arm and entered the residence happily.
Wilma always had a soft spot for Amelia. She asked how she was doing and served her food and drinks.
Amelia held a cup of tea and sat with restraint on the sofa without taking a sip.
Justin's heart went out to Amelia. She was Wyatt's daughter too, but she received significantly less than Bella.
Even though her engagement to Charles was called off, Amelia had little say in many aspects of her life in the family.
The only one living such a carefree life was Bella.
"You don't look too good, Amelia. Are you sick?" Justin sat next to Bella and showed concern.
Amelia shrunk back and shook her head passively.
"Did you and Steve come across some sort of trouble, Amelia? Are the Lovetts giving you hell again? Or has Wyatt been nagging you again?" Bella took Amelia's hand.
"Bella... I'm worried about you."
Amelia said tearfully, "There are many mean comments about you. I feel so angry. I've been responding to them, but the comments just keep coming. I can't correct them all..."
"Oh, here I thought you were in trouble."
Not taking the issue to heart, Bella grinned and rubbed her sister's cold hand. "Silly girl. In a way, I have become famous. This sort of fame doesn't come every day. I should consider introducing KS Group's products. I can use the fame for something good."
