Chapter 75 - 701 Appears

It was the top institution after all. Even though there were heaps of people looking at her, there were also loads of affairs regarding the new students. The seniors were already very mature. They couldn’t embarrass themselves in front of their juniors, so no one followed her.

However, the crowd was watching Yun Xiangxiang all the way. She would be the center of attention no matter where she went. She faced it calmly from start to finish, as she already had experience from her previous life. This was just a minor event.

After completing all the procedures and taking items like sheets and blankets, Yun Xiangxiang reached the women’s dormitory with Cheng Zhikai accompanying her. She handed her things over to Song Qian and the others. The four ladies hauled everything to Yun Xiangxiang’s dorm in one go.

Since their military training would be done on the campus, Yun Xiangxiang would have to stay in the school for this month.

The dormitory was filled with quadruple rooms. The beds were loft beds that had a wooden ladder connecting the alcove and the loft. They were situated near the walls. The bed was on the loft. The alcove housed a computer desk, study desk, and a closet. Two of them were near the door, while the other two were near the balcony. The loft beds’ end even had a cabinet connected to it.

There was a wooden long table in the center of the room. The room also had an air conditioner, a water dispenser, as well as separate washrooms. The room had a good view, and it was spacious as well.

Two people already made their bed when Yun Xiangxiang arrived. Both of them chose the beds on the left. She placed her stuff at the spot near the balcony at the right side of the room.

The lanky one of the two hesitated for a while before approaching Yun Xiangxiang who they saw was standing at a side, “Need help?”

She could see that the student worked her courage up. Yun Xiangxiang thought it would be impolite to reject her. She handed the basin full of toiletries to her with a smile, “Please put these in the washroom. I’ll arrange them later myself.

“Okay,” The girl nodded smilingly.

“Hello, I’m Tao Manni. I know you’re Yun Xiangxiang. It’s a pleasure to be in the same room as you,” The other one came over immediately and introduced herself when she saw that Yun Xiangxiang was easy to get along with.

“Hello, I’m Yun Xiangxiang. I’ll be in your care from now on,” Yun Xiangxiang kept her polite smile on.

“I’m Feng Xiaolu,” The girl who came out of the washroom introduced herself too.

“Hello,” Yun Xiangxiang nodded to signify that she got it, “Are we all in the same major?”

“Yeah, same major, same class. Seems like there are only six girls in our class,” Feng Xiaolu said, “The other two are in the room next door. Our balconies are connected. The living quarters in the middle are also shared.”

Computer related majors always had more boys in it. Not to mention that it accepts students based on their results. They only had six girls in their class.

Yun Xiangxiang chatted with them while she sorted her stuff out. With the help of Song Meng and Li Xiangling, she sorted everything out quickly. Song Qian even heaved a big bottle of mineral water for them on her own and installed it on the water dispenser.

They had to take the bottle themselves. Since they were staying in a slightly higher story, Feng Xiaolu and Tao Manni couldn’t take it by themselves. They had to wait until everyone else arrived so that they could discuss it.

“Sister, you’re so awesome!” Feng Xiaolu thanked Song Qian.

They knew that Song Meng and Li Xiangling were Yun Xiangxiang’s highschool classmates and got into other universities in Beijing. They mistook Song Qian as Song Meng’s sister.

“Dabbled in martial arts before,” Song Qian dusted her hands off and gazed at Yun Xiangxiang, “You’ll have an assembly this afternoon. Do you need me to pick you up tonight, or are you staying in school?”

“You don’t have to pick me up. I’ll be in school for the next few days. I’ll call you after the military training is over. I’ll count on you to take care of Little Lin,” Yun Xiangxiang might as well try to build some good relationships now, since she wouldn’t be staying on campus after this; she also needed to come back to borrow her friend’s notes.

She turned around and said to Feng Xiaolu and Tao Manni, “I want to take both of my good friends on a tour around the school. You girls want to come together?”

Both of them glanced at each other before nodding at the same time.

The five of them exited the bedroom, creating a graceful scene. Tao Manni was also a good-looking lady, and Feng Xiaolu had a graceful calmness about her. Their group drew attention when the pretty Li Xiangling and the average-looking but curvy Song Meng was added to the mix.

Tao Manni had already come here the day before yesterday and walked around the school once. She would be the designated tour guide.

Wherever they went, crowds would form around them and pictures would be snapped. There wasn’t anything outrageous happening though.

Yun Xiangxiang still needed to study here. She had to let everyone feel that she was also just a normal human. The novelty would wear off once she appeared regularly.

“Goddess! Goddess! My goddess!” A yell reached them at this moment.

Yun Xiangxiang followed the direction of the voice and saw someone jumping behind the crowd while waving at her. He asked the crowd to let him through before painstakingly squeezing through the throng to stand in front of Yun Xiangxiang.

He was a gaunt young lad with porcelain white skin who wore a pair of black rimmed glasses. He was very excited when he stood in front of Yun Xiangxiang, “Goddess, I’m Little Q!”

“I know you,” Yun XIangxiang actually remembered him. He wasn’t just a big fan in Yun Xiangxiang’s Fan Club. He was also 701, the one who would show his presence every day, “We are coursemates now, huh?”

“Although I was accepted, I’m not in the same class with the goddess,” Little Q was dejected.

Yun Xiangxiang looked at the woman who was trotting over and Yang Qi who was looking timid now, “So you’re called Yang Qi?”

Yang Qi scratched the back of his head, “It’s the Qi in terms of strange! [1]”

“Yang Qi...: When Yang Qi’s mother saw Yun Xiangxiang after she got close, she became unbelievably enthusiastic, “You’re the little lady who plays as Yang Qi! Oh, you’re so much prettier than how you looked in the film. Auntie must treat you to lunch. Our Yang Qi started working hard in his studies thanks to you. He entered a university that I didn’t even dare to dream of having him enter. Let’s go, we’ll eat together. Auntie needs to thank you properly. Our whole family are your fans!”

She was already dragging Yun Xiangxiang when she was talking. Yun Xiangxiang couldn’t really reject such a simple elder.

Everyone regarded her as the core of their group and went to the canteen together.
