Hunter x Exam (Chapter 3)

Y/N's Pov:

~Another time skip (5 years)~

"Alright, It will work this time Ba-" I cut him off. "We are not dating Killua." I continue to pack my bag on the bed. "We can't we?" He starts to lay on me. "We would be sooooo cute!"

"No." I get up leaving him on the bed. I pack other things I have like my toothbrush, Vaseline, my hairbrush, Etc. "Oh M/N texted me. She apologized...again."

"Why don't you call your mom 'Mom' or something?" He looked at me. "Because she left me. She isn't my 'mom' anymore." I finish packing and open the window. "Ok, it is 4:30 AM. We have to leave." I stated. I grab the teddy bear that (M/N) gave me. And Killua put me on his back. I was tired so I didn't mind. We try to be quiet until we passed the gate.

"Yay!" He put me down and cheered. I started to laugh. He hugged me. "Y/N-Chan? I wish I was your teddy bear." He looked at me. "Why?" I look down at my bear then back at him. "So I can hug you and cuddle you all day." He smiled. "I-" I laughed. "You are so cheesy!" I laugh some more then move on. "Alright! Let's race!" I finally say.

"If I win I get a kiss." He suggested. "Whatever" I put my hands in my pocket. I started to run. Before long I was in the town.

"Hah!" I said as I turned around. He wasn't there. "Killua-Kun? Killua?" I shout towards the trail. I feel my arms hug my waist. "AH!" I turn to see Killua. He places a kiss on my cheek. "Baka! Don't yell so loud!" He chuckled. "God! Don't do that." I lightly hit his chest and laugh.

"Don't do what?" He responded."Scare or kiss me or at least in public. But the kissing is a no!" I blushed and so did he (out of embarrassment). "Ugh aright! Alright!" Killua laughs and picks me up bridal style. Honestly, he tries too hard. "Put me down!" I hide my face with my bag. This was too embarrassing for me.

"Aww fine but, if I do can we take the hunter exam?" I sigh "Whatever just put me down!" He listened. He puts his hands on his head as he continued walking. I did the same trying to mock him. We walked to the hunter exam and did the trials. I won't go into detail because we didn't really do anything.

"Babe let's go!" Killua pulled me into a room with a crowd. "We are not dating!" I sigh and follow him.

~Time skip~

"Here are your numbers! You have to wear it at all times." The green alien gave us badge-like things. I put it in my shirt and continued walking. Killua did the same. "Hi, I am Tonpa! This is currently my 36th time!" The guys came towards us.

"Don't talk to me." I responded. I grabbed my skateboard and walked away as Killua talked to him. I waited for him and we walked around.

~Time skip (1 hour)~

I got up to see a mouthless man talking. "Nope Nope Nope. Can we start walking then can we ride the skateboard?" He nodded in response.

"Man I thought it would be hard!" I heard him complaining.

"You need to be patient it is only the first one," I said as he speeds up. I took out my skateboard and started riding the skateboard. I talked to him about how I remembered how my mom looked like. "If I and brother were alike he could be here. He maybe takes on my mom's traits. So he would have green hair. He would also be DRENCHED with green." I stated as I tried to get my balance again but, I fall.

"Here let me help you." He took my skateboard and put me on his. I hugged his stomach. "Oh lord, I am going to die," I said as he made the skateboard go faster. He laughed. "I wouldn't let my princess get hurt. I promise."

"Hey what up, kids!" The tall man shouted. Killua responded with a "Hm?" I was too shy to say anything.  The man continued to shout at us. "You should show the Hunter Exam some respect!" Of course, Killua responded with "What do you mean?" I sigh.

"Why are you using a skateboard? That cheating!" He yelled. "Why?" I and Killua said on sync. "Why...This is an endurance test!"

"No, it isn't." I hear another boy said. "Oh god," I say under my breath. "Huh?" Said the man. "Gon what are you saying?" The man shouted.

"The examiner only told us to follow him." Gon explained. "Who side are you on?" The male said. Killua slowed the skateboard down to match the pace of Gon.  "Hey, how old are you?" Killua asked. "I am twelve years old" Gon replied. "Same as me!" I said. I started to get off the skateboard. After I was off Killua did this trick and started to run with us.

"I am Gon!" He told us. "I am Y/N and this is Killua!" Killua smiled as he waved.. "You look like my mom...like hair-wise!" I commented. "Thank you!" He smiled. I couldn't help but smile back. I noticed the outfit and I mentally saved it. Killua stares at us. "Y/N! You have a pretty smile. It is too good for this world."

"Thank you Killua." I replied. "Alright! Race! Whoever loses has to buy the winner dinner." He starts running faster. "Bet!" I start running. Killua follows with his hands in his pockets. I ending up winning. Gon was pretty upset about it.

"Well Y/N. I guess it is a date." Killua winks at me. "I-" I started to blush like crazy. I became speechless. "I take that as a yes." He begins to walk away chuckling. "Anyway let's go!" Gon said as he takes my hand.

"So why did you want it to become a hunter anyway?" I asked while the man was talking. "Oh, I wanted to find my Dad! His name is supposed to be Ging Freecss!"

"Really?" I smile widely. "You weren't too hard to find. My full name is (Y/N) (M/N) Freecss." I smile. "Are you my full sister?" He asked. "Yeah, I am your twin. The older twin." I started to walk so we didn't get far behind.

"Alrighty!" He walks with me.

~Time Skip~

I yawn as we stopped. I grab his hand and pull him closer to me. "I don't see them no more." I look around. I feel something grab my shoulder. I turn around to see Killua. "Why are you hugging Gon?" He was hugging me from behind.

"I was hugging him because he is my brother. Relax." Gon laughed and noticed the crowd. "Oh found them!" He started to run. "Really?" I followed close behind..

~Time skip (The gate to the 3rd stage) ~

"Alright, I will leave you here you into the gate for the next stage."

"Whatever..." I open the door with a breeze and start walking you to the Lady who was sitting on the chair. I was getting mad because the other contestants were being annoying. They never shut up even if they were going to die. Everyone came inside and she introduced herself. I wait until she says it was pork we needed to cook. "Great! I can leave now. Killua, Gon, Blonde, and old man let's go." I start to leave. Killua hugs me.

"These mood swings are going to kill me someday. You know that right?" He looked tired. "Sorry Killua-Kun but these people are annoying." I start walking as the guy starts yelling. "MY NAME IS LEORIO AND I AM NOT OLD!"

The blonde one also assures me that his name is Kurapika, not Blonde. "I really can care less. It's not like I am going to know you after this exam." I say as I look through the forest. Killua picks me up and puts me on his back.

"Put me down Killua!" I yelled. "Baka you need to calm down." He didn't smile. "O-Ok then." I let out a huff and lay my head on his fluffy white hair. I soon fell asleep.

Killua's Pov:

I heard her snore which indicates that she was sleeping. I still don't understand why she was these mood swings but I have gotten used to it. I need to understand her more to make her fall head of heels for me after all.

Gon started to go down the hill. I followed Gon making sure (Y/N) didn't get hurt. The other two soon followed after.

"I found them." Gon pointed to the pigs. "They are eating bones?" Leorio questioned. "Are they..." Kurapika added. Soon enough all the pigs were chasing us. I ran quickly so I could get away. I kill one after some time. "Gon their weakness his there forehead!" I point at my own. Soon everyone was killing the pigs. (Y/N) wakes up and I put her down. "Their weakness is-" She cuts me off. "Their forehead."

Y/N's Pov:

I see a pig sleeping and I quickly seal my presence. "I haven't done this in a while." I grabbed my bag and took out my bow and arrows. I shot the pig and it died. I pick it up and start going to the lobby.

~Time skip (10 minutes)~

I was sitting down waiting to take the pig off when I see a raid run back. "Oh, they are here." I managed to calm down before they came. Everyone started to roast their pigs. After a little while, I take it off and prepare it. I wait for everyone to go so I can go.

"Y/N. You never showed me your dish. Come on let's move it." The hag said. "Ok, whatever." I hand it to her and sit back down.  "Y/N...This is...AMAZING!" She smiles as she takes another bite. "I know." I look over to see Killua staring at me. I wink at him and he got flustered.

"Good job Y/N!" I hear Killua and Gon say at the same time. Gon comes over and hugs me. "You did amazing!" He giggles. "You did well too! She just doesn't know what taste is like." I glance over to her with dead eyes. I hug back.

A kid started to argue with the examiner. She punches him and starts talking like nothing happened. "You all failed besides Y/N." She continues eating. Everyone groans as someone falls. "Not again!" I thought as I see an old man land. He starts arguing with the examiner but I go on my phone.

"BAD Y/N!" Gon takes my phone. "Give it back Gon." I try to take it but, his arms were longer than mine. "Goddamnit Gon!" I shout. "Pay attention Y/N!" Gon yelled back. I gave up and sighed.

"In the new test, you propose." He said. The lady gasped slightly. "Is that acceptable?" He questioned. "I am certain that will help the applicants accept their results." He continued. "All right! Then the new challenge will be on boiled eggs!" She announced.

Everyone started to question her as I just shrugged. "Alright then." I whispered. "Chairman, could you take us to Split Mountain in your airship?" The examiner asked. "Split Mountain? I see what you are doing." Chairman commented.

This might be very good..." He added as he leads us to the ship.

~Time skip to when the got there~

I get off to explore. "Wow!" Gon and I said in sync. I got to the cliff and look down. "Can I go?" I asked the chairman while pointing down to the eggs. "Ok. You can show us how to grab the hand successfully." He responded.

To be honest I was still pissed with the examiners but I didn't really care. I turn back to see Killua a little scared. "Don't be scared Killua." I jump down still facing him with my hands in my pockets. "Cya!"

I see him running to get me. "Y/N! Don't jump!" He stops at the cliff and looks down but, by the time I was already starting the float back up. I elegantly land and smile. "I am fine! I didn't fall to the bottom or some-" I got cut off by Killua hugging me and Gon yelling at me.

"You could have died! That was reckless!" Gon was screaming. I laugh it off and look at Killua. "Baka...you could have died..." He hugs me tighter. I laugh and start to blush. I couldn't hug him back because of the egg in my hand.

Kurapika smiles towards me. "Good job (Y/N)-Chan. You did amazing." "Thank you Kurapika." I smiled back at him.

Gon was about to jump. "Can I go? Can I go?" He was repeating. Soon enough the boys were gone. I laugh and set the egg down. I sigh and sit down. I gather my thoughts and started to blush. "Why am I being like this? I don't like him! Why am I blushing?" I cup my face and close my eyes.
