°21•That's odd
When bitter&sweet meet
Wait, wait, wait. Did Darla say what I think she said? After all this fucking time, Iâm finally free of her shit? Tory, itâs all because of my woman. Damn, that woman impresses me. Iâm fucking lucky to have her.
Iâm sure of one thing, if Darla tries to reach me again, Iâll unleash Tory on her and make sure Iâm there to witness the beauty of it with a hard-on. Because it makes me fucking hot when she takes charge like that.
Speaking of a hard-on, I have one right now as I feel my pants tighten.
âNo, Levi, donât even think about it. The lunch hour is almost over, and you didnât get a chance to eat lunch, so youâll have to keep it in your pants until later.â Tory snaps at me, but I can see sheâs trying not to laugh.
âLucky for you, I brought lunch.â She adds.
âI donât know how Iâm lucky if I canât have what I want,â I whine, playing with her.
I go over to kiss her, but when Iâm inches from her lips, her cell starts to ring.
Fuck! Not this again.
âIâm sorry, Levi, but I have to take this. Normally I wouldnât, but it's the second time Judy has tried to call me.â She says before answering.
While she talks on her cell, I take the lunch boxes she dropped on the chair before slapping Darla. That memory will be engraved inside my skull for a long damn time. God, I do love my woman.
I go over to the couch and place the food on the coffee table. What do I have to do to forget whatâs going on below my belt? Damn it, just thinking about it makes my pants tighter.
Yeah, my sister is right, Iâm a big slut, but when itâs for my woman, I donât give a fuck.
âThat was odd?â Tory says, interrupting my thoughts.
âWhat is?â I ask her.
âUhm, Davis and Katy went to see Judy once Katy was released from the hospitalâ¦.â
Davis, that fucker. He was lucky we were in a hospital; otherwise, I wouldâve punched him just the mere thought of him touching my woman. The idea makes me want to take the road, hunt him down and introduce him to my temper.
â... and it seems that the tension between them was high. At some point, she told me that Davis went to the bathroom, and Katy told her that since they returned to their apartment, they were arguing all the time, and it was always about me.â
What the fuck?
âOne of the biggest fights they had was that if Katy hadnât gotten pregnant, he would be married to me by now.â
That son of a bitch! I should have settled the score when I had the chance to punch him in the face. Heâs damn fucking lucky that heâs not in front of me right now. Otherwise, I wouldnât be held responsible for my actions.
Maybe she knows what I think because she circles her arms around my waist and tightens her hold on me.
âDo you think I should call Katy and see how she is?â Tory wonder.
âOh babe, sometimes you're too sweet for your good. Donât involve yourself in this. With them fighting about you, you might only make things worse.â Sometimes I surprise myself with what I say.
âOf course, youâre right, Levi. Iâm sorry, love, here I am talking about my stupid ex when weâre supposed to be eating.â
I bring one hand behind her head, caressing her hair.
âItâs okay, babe, donât worry about it. Besides, I owe you one for dealing with my fucking ex. You put her in her place, which Iâm grateful for, by the way.â
I move my head slowly so I can bring my mouth just beside her ear.
âIâll show you just how grateful I am later. Trust me, babe, You havenât seen anything yet, or should I say feel instead of seeing.â She shivers at my word, which is precisely the reaction I want from her.
âNow letâs eat,â I say as I pull back from her rapidly. She didnât see it coming and almost fell on the ground when my body moved from hers.
âJerk.â
âOnly for you, babe, only for you.â God, itâs so easy to tease her. I love it.
âEat before your ego starts to show.â She warns me. I kiss her forehead like I have a hundred times before and settle to eat before getting in trouble. I canât help myself, and I wink at her. She makes a face at me while sticking out her tongue.
Who knew, after all this time, I could fall so hard for a woman? With her, I feel complete. I feel like a man again. I thought I was happy when I would hunt all those women nights after night just for my pleaser. In reality, I just wanted to avoid the truth that I was like an empty shell.
As I look around my office, and then my eyes settle on my woman once more. Man, my life canât get better than this.
Damn it, I spoke too soon. I hear someone knock on the door. I get up from my seat and answer the door of my office.
âMr. Lockwood, what can I do for you since you decided to disturb my meal?â
âCoach, you got a sec? I would like to⦠Oh, sorry, coach.â He says as he sees Tory sitting on the couch, his face a little shocked. âMiss Summers.â
By this point, Tory managed to clean the coffee table where we were eating.
âMr. Lockwood,â she replies
âIâll leave you be.â She steps towards the door when, surprisingly, Johnny stops her.
âNo, Miss Summer, itâs good that youâre here. I want to talk to you as well. I want to study harder. I spoke with my girâ¦.â He clears his throat. âI spoke with my friend and realized how important itâs to excel in your class. I donât want to be kicked out of the team.â
âGood work hard, Mr. Lockwood, because, as you know, in two weeks, weâre going up against the Coyotes from Chertown.â As I say this, I see Toryâs tense.
Fuck! I forgot to mention this to her.
When I went with Tory to her parentâs hometown, I was so busy worrying about her and what was going on with her father that I didn't even think to mention to her about us playing here against the Coyotes.
Mr. Lockwood nods at me before leaving my office. I instantly go to Toryâs side.
âIâm sorry I forgot to mention this to you.â
âI donât care about the Coyotes, Levi. Itâs Davis Iâm worried about.â
âWhat does he have to do in all of this?â I ask with anger, surprised by what she said.
âDavis is one of their sponsors, and the other sponsors chose him to accompany the team every away game. He doesnât know where I am, and in two weeks, Iâm afraid he will find out.â
If I get so much as a whiff of him sniffing around her. He wonât know whatâs coming for him.
