Chapter 9

"Yes baby, I sleep too." I kissed Brandy's forehead as she cuddled into me, closing her eyes.

Lyla's POV

"Brandy c'mon it's time to go!" I called out sliding my shoes and jacket on.

Brandy had a dentist appointment today, just a check up. But the girl was doing everything in her power to make us late.

"No mommy! I not going!" Brandy called out from her room.

"Brandy Rain get in here now." I spoke, my voice no longer soft.

I went to open the door but I seen that it was locked. I sighed, running a hand through my hair.

"Brandy, out here. Now." I said sternly.

It was time for us to go and I was beginning to get impatient.

"Love, why don't you wanna go? You'll get a lollipop afterwards and I'll be with you the whole time." I tried.

The door slowly came open.

"Lollipop?" She asked me, her blue eyes glistening.

"Yes baby, now come in get your shoes on we have to go."

"Brandy Jefferson?" A woman called.

Brandy clung to me as we walked into the dentist office, behind the doors.

"Hi Brandy, My name is Dr. Vaughn, we need to examine your teeth okay?"

The woman went to get the x-ray thingies and Brandy sat there, her eyes wandering the room.

"You okay my love?" I asked noticing she was nervous.

"Wanna go home mama."

"I know bug, soon I promise."

"Alright let's get those X-rays done." The dentist said.

Once the dentist tried to place the X-ray thingy in Brandy's mouth, she bit down on the woman's finger.

The woman hissed and snatched her finger back.

"Brandy Rain Jefferson!" I said as sternly as I could.

The small girl instantly shrank back in her seat.

"When we get home, you will not like me. Now, you will sit there and behave yourself or you'll make it worse." I whispered in her ear sternly.

I never thought I'd had to spank her, but this was absolutely not okay.

I apologized to the woman and she replied that it was okay it happens all the time.

After taking Brandy's x-ray the woman brought in the dentist to check her teeth.

"Well, you seem to be doing a great job keeping your teeth clean! Seems your mommy has a nice and clean cavity free baby girl!" The man responded after checking around and  cleaning her teeth.

The man handed her a lollipop.

"Fank you mister dentist." She smiled widely.

I picked her up and we left, walking to the car. I strapped Brandy into her car seat and went into my own side of the car.

*Brandy, I am very disappointed in you little lady. You know better than that, when we get home I want you to stand in your time out corner until I call you, and I will be giving you ten spanks." I replied looking at her in the rearview mirror, driving us home.

She only whined and pouted with her arms crossed.

I sighed at the stubborn girl as we pulled into the drive way.

"Alright c'mon." I said getting out and walking around the car to her side, unbuckling her.

I seen that Grace's car was also here. I wondered what she was doing here.

"Mommy! Gwacey!!" She beamed.

"Yes baby I see, but you're still in trouble so go into the house and do as I asked please." I said opening the door for her.

I walked over to Grace's car.

"Hey!" I called out from the window.

"Oh! Hi!" She said getting out of the car.

"Sorry to just stop by, I just wanted to check on you guys."

"Oh that's okay! Please come in, but little missy is in trouble so please no other interactions with her besides hello." I said leading the woman into the house.

"Gwacey!!" Brandy said jumping into the woman's arms.

"Nope c'mon go back into timeout." Grace said setting her back in the corner."

She let out a loud huff.

I really didn't wanna have to punish her today but I guess if she doesn't get any consequences she'll keep doing things like that.

"Sorry, she's been acting out all day so far. Brandy come here please." I spoke as softly as I could to not scare the child.

Brandy ran over to me.

"Now baby, we had a conversation this morning about the dentist yes?" I asked.

She nodded.

"Yes we did, and you bit the nurse yes?"

She nodded again, her lip now quivering.

"Okay love, and I told you there'd be consequences, and your consequence is a spanking. It'll be quick and it'll be fast. We discussed how comfortable you were with it and you said you didn't like spanking because it hurts but if you knew you deserved it that it was okay with you."

She nodded again, now hiccuping, tears falling down her cheeks.

"Okay come here." I guided her over my knee.

Grace raised her eyebrow and left into the kitchen.

"Okay baby, I'm gonna start. Remember if you need me to stop what do you say?"

"Unicorn!" She whimpered.

I quickly gave her five spanks on one side, leaving her pull up and pants up.

"Are we okay love?"

She nodded between sobs.

I quickly dealt the last five on the other side and sat her up, pulling her into my arms hding her tight.

"Now mama doesn't like doing that but you have to be a good girl so she doesn't have to okay?" I told her my heart pounding.

I never wanna see my baby cry, especially if I caused it. But I knew she needed it, just the corner wasn't working anymore.

She held onto me and sniffled, her tears no longer running down her face. I kissed her cheek.

"Mama loves you okay?"

"Love you mama."

"Wow you guys are so mushy." Grace chuckled.

"You okay monkey?" Grace said pushing hair out of Brandy's face.

She nodded and snuggled into me.
