Chapter 10

She nodded and snuggled into me.

Grace's POV

It's been a few weeks since winter break and we were back in school. Lyla and Brandy's relationship as cg and little have become more common.

"Brandy, shoes on, now." Lyla spoke sternly chasing the small girl around the living room with a pair of sneakers.

I chuckled, Brandy was more comfortable being little and was in headspace often.

"Little lady if you don't let me put your shoes on you will spend some time in the corner!" Lyla said trying to catch the girl.

"I say no mommy!" Brandy ran into my arms.

"No no, your mommy said to put your shoes on and that's what you do." I told her raising my eyebrow.

"No!" She whines pushing me slightly.

I pulled her into a locked hug, allowing Lyla to put the girls shoes on.

I could tell Brandy was about to break out into sobs by the way her face scrunched up.

Suddenly the door bell rang.

"I'll answer it." Lyla sighed, kissing Brandy on the cheek before walking away.

"Mommy who dats?" Brandy ran over to Lyla before her face changed.

"What are you doing here." Brandy spoke, clearly not I'm headspace anymore.

Lyla and I both stood confused.

"Do you know her lovely?" I asked.

"Lucy, why are you here?" Brandy asked demanding an answer.

I raised an eyebrow. Who was Lucy?

"You weren't answering your phone. I know we haven't talked but I miss you." The girl stood in the doorway.

"Can you all just go? Please everyone just go." Brandy said standing in front of all of us with her arms crossed.

She looked as if she were about to cry.

"I'm not dealing with this today."

"Come on let's just give her space." Lyla suggested, grabbing her things, holding her tears back she walked out of the door. I followed behind.

Brandy's POV

"What the fuck do you want Lucy." I asked extremely annoyed.

"Baby please just hear me out."

"The fuck do you mean?? You left ME, you hurt ME, I never done anything to you but love you. So what the fuck do you want."

"Baby, please, I just want to talk about everything."

"First of all never in your life call me baby again. And secondly we're over, we're done we haven't been anything in over two years." I said slamming the door.

I was finally happy, why did she have to show up and ruin everything? I thought, I sighed, going into my bedroom cuddling my stuffed animals.

Grace's POV

"I don't understand, why'd she kick us out?" Lyla said still sobbing.

"Babes, maybe she'll tell us in a few hours, we have to give her a bit of space before we badger her with questions." I said rubbing her back.

Lyla and I have been dating for a couple of weeks. Brandy was so excited for us. There's even been talk of the both of us being Brandy's caregivers.

I lifted Lyla's head up.

"Baby, we can't help her unless she allows us too, we just have to be there for her as much as we can okay?" I pecked her lips.

She sighed. "I just don't understand, she's my baby and I don't wanna ever see her in this much pain."

"I know beautiful, but she'll come around she always does, we'll check on her in a bit she just needs a bit of space." I kissed Lyla's forehead.

I can only assume that Lucy girl is an ex or something. But if she hurts our girl oh is Lucy in for a hell of a time.

Lyla and I watched as Lucy left the house, we sat in my car outside, not wanting to completely leave the two alone in case something happened.

Lyla ran out of the car and back into the house, I ran after her.

Lyla's POV

"Baby girl are you okay?" I called throughout the house seeing where she was. I heard small cries coming from her bedroom.

I held her in my lap rocking her back and forth.

"Mama her bad!" She sobbed, her cries becoming more apparent.

"I know my baby, I know." I held her closely kissing her on the forehead.

I knew I had to keep it together, but to see my little girl in so much eternal pain I couldn't fix hurt.

Suddenly her cries became more silent, and her body went more and more limp. She had dozed off, tiring herself out with all the crying.

I laid her down, pulling the covers over her.

Grace stood in the doorway.

"How is she?" Grace asked with a sad smile.

"Well, she slipped again, and she's tired herself out. I don't know who that girl was and that worries me. What if she comes back?" I said closing Brandy's bedroom door behind me.

"I don't know babe, we'll have to talk to her about it when she wakes up."

I sighed going into the kitchen to make dinner.

Happy near year people!! I hope you all had a great Christmas and a great new years day! This is technically the first chapter of this year even though I wrote it a few days before Christmas. Did y'all expect this plot twist? I've been planning it since chapter three!! I was thinking about having a sequel to this book, with all three of them and brandy would have two cgs. Should I? Or should I just incorporate it into this book? Let me know!! This chapter was pretty shitty but I will attempt to bring it around. I will also update my other two books so stick around for that!!
