Chapter 5
All I ever wanted
I thought it was getting a bit later seeing it was already 2 o clock, I wanted her to get a nap in, so we don't have a grumpy pants later on. The girl grabbed onto my hand and we headed out the door.

Brandy's POV
I was so happy. No one has been this kind to me in a while, well, except Grace of course. Lyla placed me in my car seat, buckling me up tucking my new stuffie next to me.
"I jus wan say 'ank you Lyla." I smiled softly looking up at her. She was truly amazing, I felt lucky to have had her in my life.
"Of course baby, anything for you let's go home yeah? I think someone needs a small nap before homework time." Lyla smiled, closing my door before getting into the car, settling into the driver's seat.
The drive home was long, and I was starting to nod off, only to be woken up every time I started to doze.
"I know baby we're almost home, I don't want you to nap right this second." Lyla said with her voice full of regret. I whimpered rubbing my eyes.
Lyla's POV
I felt terrible for trying to force the poor girl to stay awake, but I wanted her to nap at home so she could properly get some rest before we have to start her homework for school tomorrow. I seen the tears in her eyes as we pulled up to her house.
I parked the car and unbuckled myself getting out of the car.
"We're home baby see?" I quickly unbuckled her and carried her to the door. Before I could even get the door fully open the small girl was fast asleep.
She was so adorable and looked so peaceful. I carried her to her room, laying her down in the bed with a small lavender throw blanket to cover her. I tucked her new stuffed animal in her arms and slipped her pacifier in her mouth. I took a quick picture because she was just to adorable.

Lyla's POV
"Brandy love, wake up it's time for school." I shook the sleeping girl before yawning. I guess I fell asleep over here after dinner. I hoped she wouldn't be upset.
She turned over pulling the covers over her head. We really have to be out of here within the next 55 minutes, I thought looking at the time on my phone. I decided to let her sleep and get myself ready so I can get her something to eat for breakfast.
I went into the bathroom and realized I don't know where the toothbrushes and towels were. I sighed facepalming before going back into Brandy's bedroom.
I shook her once again.
"Brandy c'mon get up I don't know where the towels and toothbrushes are, I didn't plan on staying the night." She only grumbled annoyed and mumbled in the hallway cabinet.
I shook my head and went to grab a towel and toothbrush.
Brandy's POV
I wished that Lyla would just go home and leave me alone. But then again, I'm only saying that because I'm not a morning person. I was so sleepy and loved my bed. I didn't wanna get up and go to school.
A few minutes later I felt myself being picked up and set on the floor.
"Hey!!" I groaned seeing I was only the floor and not in the comfort of my bed
"Had to get you up somehow love, c'mon class starts in an hour we need to leave in about twenty minutes, get ready I'll make you some breakfast." Lyla said making me sigh in annoyance.
As soon as she left the room, I went right back into my bed hoping she'd just go to school without me, only that wasn't going to happen. Not today anyways.
