Chapter 13

"Did Chaeyoung wake up already?" Y/N asked the next morning when she went to the dining room to have breakfast.

"No, she's still sleeping." Mrs. Chou answered.

"Then I'll wake her up."

"Y/N don't be too hard on her." Her father said. Y/N went upstairs and barged into Chaeyoung's room and just like her mom said, she is still sleeping.

"Chaeyoung, wake up." Y/N shook her shoulders.

"Uhmm." Chaeyoung groaned and turned around. Y/N didn't have another choice so she took a bottle of water and poured it on Chaeyoung's face.

"Aaah, unnie!" Chaeyoung immediately woke up.

"Get up. We need to talk. I'm waiting downstairs." Y/N said and left the room.

"Fuck, Chaeyoung-ah what did you do?" She asked herself. She can't remember anything from last night.

"Unnie, please don't be hard on her." Tzuyu pleaded. They're all worried about what Y/N is going to say.

"Good morning." Chaeyoung finally showed up. She's scared.

"Good morning." Y/N's parents and Tzuyu said but Y/N kept quiet.

"Do you remember what happened?" Y/N asked in a cold tone.

"I remembered just now."

"I'm not going to scold you, don't worry."

"W-what? You're not?" Chaeyoung raised her eyebrows.

"No. I took you with me so I should've seen it coming. It was my fault to think that you would behave for once."

"Unnie... I'm sorry." Chaeyoung said weakly. "I didn't mean to cause a scene. That guy kept saying that I don't belong there and that I should go back to the low-class people that I always hang out with."

"Couldn't you just ignore it? You always ignore it, why couldn't you ignore it now?" Tzuyu questioned.

"Because I was drunk, I guess."

"I told you not to drink." Y/N reminded her. She knows how Chaeyoung gets when she's drunk. The girl comes home drunk at least 3 times a week.

"I'm really sorry. I deserve to get scolded."

"There's no need. Nothing changes even when I scold you. So I have to do something else. Here are all the needed files and papers for you to join that art school that you always wanted to join." Y/N put the papers in front of Chaeyoung and everyone's eyes widened.

"I already paid for everything. You can start tomorrow." Y/N added.

"W-what? Didn't you keep saying that I can't join art school?" Chaeyoung is very confused right now. She's been wanting to go to this school as long as she can remember but everyone was against it. Her family made her go to a business school instead, that's why she ended up dropping out because she doesn't like business related things at all.

"Y/N, she can't join that school." Her father shook his head.

"She can and she will. It's what she wants, we have no right to stop her from doing what she wants. So Chaeyoung-ah go ahead and do it."

"Why did you change your mind? You were the one that kept saying that she can't." Mrs. Chou questioned.

"I never got asked if this is what I wanted. I just got thrown into this life and now I have to deal with it. She's young and has still a lot of opportunities so she should just do what she wants." Y/N stood up.

"This is really what you want right?"

"Yes of course. This is my dream." Chaeyoung had a big smile on her face.

"Great. Go ahead and make us proud. I don't want my money go to waste, get that?" Y/N smiled weakly. She's never seen Chaeyoung smile this brightly.

"Thank you, thank you so much." Chaeyoung suddenly stood up and hugged Y/N.

"I hope you'll start getting your life together after this. Focus on your studies and start thinking about your future okay?" Y/N advised.

"Yes. I will, unnie."

"Great." Y/N patted Chaeyoung's head.

"I'm going to my room. I need to prepare myself for tomorrow." And with that Chaeyoung left with a big smile on her face.

"Y/N, what was that?" Her father asked. "You know what everyone thinks of that school especially her family."

"What can I do? She's not happy, can't you see it? That's why she's rebelling all the time, that's why she acts like she doesn't care about life. Maybe doing something that she wants will change her for the better." Y/N just wants her cousin to be happy and Chaeyoung will never be happy as long as she doesn't get to do what she wants. The more they try to stop her, the unhappier she'll be.

"Momo, did you find some more information on Chou Y/N?" Nayeon asked her assistant.

"Yes. I looked into her relationship with your brother and turns out they were in the same college. I don't know how but they were actually in the same year. I think Y/N was ahead of her year."

"Jin was also lacking behind, so it is possible." Nayeon nodded.

"People say that they were rivals. The two never liked each other and were always competing. Even after college their rivalry continued. There was one time when ImTech and Chou Holdings were both trying to convince an American company to invest in their projects. I think that's where their rivalry even intensified." Momo explained.

"Now that explains a bit more. So she might be after Jin huh?"

"I'm not sure if she's after him, but she definitely doesn't want him to succeed." Momo guessed.

"What about her past? Did you find something?"

"No. It's like she didn't exist before her 18. We really couldn't find anything. It's weird."

"So no one knows what she did before 18?" Nayeon asked and Momo shook her head.

"I'll find out Chou Y/N. Don't worry." Nayeon said to herself and stood up. She needs to go to Chou Holdings and find out what Y/N's intentions are.

"Is Chou Y/N inside?" Nayeon asked Y/N's secretary.

"Yes, she is. Let me tell her that you're here." The secretary said and called Y/N to let her know.

"You can enter." The girl smiled and Nayeon went into Y/N's office.

"I wasn't expecting you, Im Nayeon." Y/N greeted her.

"Well, I guess there are some things that we need to talk about." Nayeon sat down.

"I'm listening."

"What are your intentions, Chou Y/N?"

"My intentions?" Y/N raised her eyebrows.

"Yes. Your intentions. I know you didn't invest just for profit, so how about you tell me the real reason?"

"You probably already found out. Why are you asking?" Y/N stood up and went to the other side of her office to get some water.

"I want to hear it from you. I know you're just helping me because you want Jin to fail." Nayeon followed her.

"If you say so." Y/N shrugged it off. Nayeon doesn't like the way Y/N is answering her right now so  she suddenly pinned Y/N against the wall and held her collar.

"Tell me what your intentions are." Nayeon said in a serious tone.

"You already said it yourself. I want Jin to fail." Y/N lied. Well she didn't lie completely, she does want Jin to fail but she also wants to destroy ImTech.

"Why? Because you're rivals?"

"Yes. I'm sure you heard how we were in college, Ms. Im." Y/N freed herself from Nayeon's grip.

"So you're using my project to screw him over?"

"Not really. We have the same goal here, Nayeon-ssi. We both want for you to become the CEO. So how about we join forces? You'll become the CEO and I can finally win this battle against Jin." Y/N suggested as she approached Nayeon. She's standing a bit too close to Nayeon making her heart race. Why is Y/N so attractive to her?

"Is that really your only goal Y/N-ssi? How do I know that you're not after something else?"

"You can't know that. You'll just have to trust me." Y/N caressed Nayeon's arm. Y/N can see the effect that she has on Nayeon. Her plan is really working.

"I don't trust you even one bit."

"It's not like you have another choice. You need me to make that project succeed."

"I'm only doing this because I want to become the CEO, not because you asked me to." Nayeon shook her head.

"Then we have a deal?" Y/N extended her hand.

"Deal." Nayeon shook her hand and Y/N suddenly pulled her towards her and put her lips onto hers. She started to kiss the woman in front of her while she held onto her waist but shortly after Nayeon pushed her harshly.

"What the fuck are you doing??" Nayeon is a blushing mess.

"Just continuing what YOU did yesterday." Y/N emphasized the word you.

"We're business partners. We can't do this, Y/N-ssi. How about we just stay professional?" Nayeon suggested.

"I know you want this too." Y/N went closer to her and caressed Nayeon's cheek.

"It'll be our little secret." Y/N winked and Nayeon couldn't hold herself back. She really wants to kiss Y/N badly now so she did. The kiss was slow at first but Y/N decided to heat it up and pinned Nayeon against the wall. She started to kiss the woman in front of her roughly and after some time the CEO also slid her tongue into Nayeon's mouth making Nayeon moan. Their tongues fought for dominance and of course Y/N won. She obviously has the upper hand in this situation. They continued to make out for a minute when suddenly Nayeon's phone started ringing.

"Y-yes?" Nayeon answered her phone. Y/N is just smiling to herself. This went way easier than she thought it would go.

"Okay, I'm on my way." And with that Nayeon hung up the phone.

"I need to go. I'll call you later. You know about the project." Nayeon is kinda embarrassed right now. She can't believe that she just did that with Y/N.

"Okay, see you later Nayeon-ssi." Y/N winked and with that Nayeon left.

"Dahyun-ah, can you come to my office?" Y/N called her assistant and after two minutes Dahyun showed up.

"I want you to follow around Im Nayeon and Im Seokjin. Report to me any suspicious activity. I want to know everything about them especially about Im Nayeon. She doesn't trust me yet, so we should be careful. Also track down her phone. I want to know everything that she does." Y/N said.

"Yes, Ms. Chou. I'll handle it."

After work Y/N went to Mrs. Park's restaurant. She called the woman yesterday and managed to convince her to go to the doctor with her.

"Y/N? What are you doing here?" Jihyo asked when Y/N entered.

"I'm here to pick up your grandma. We're going to the doctor."

"Oh my God, really?? Yah, why does she agree to go with you but not with me?" Jihyo pouted which made Y/N laugh.

"But thank you Y/N-ah, we owe you a lot." Jihyo caressed the girl's arm.

"No, I owe you a lot. You owe me nothing." The CEO shook her head.

"Grandma! Y/N is here!" Jihyo yelled.

"I'm coming!" The woman yelled back.

"So how's your plan going? Any news?"

"It's going well. I think Nayeon is starting to trust me, but she knows that Jin and I are rivals."

"She knows?" Jihyo raised her eyebrows.

"Yeah, she found out but I told her that we should join forces. She thinks that I just want Jin to fail, she has no idea about my other plans."

"Y/N... I wanted to say this the other day but I don't think this is a good idea. You know how dangerous that family is, you can't handle them by yourself." Jihyo sighed.

"I'll be fine, Jihyo-yah. I won't be able to rest until I destroy that company. It's what they deserve."

"Still, you might end up dead. You know how they kill everyone that gets in their way." Jihyo worried.

"As long as I'm careful, they'll never find out. Besides when I get Nayeon by my side, it'll be easier."

"Do you think she'll trust you?" Jihyo questioned.

"Yeah, not yet but she will eventually. I know she's interested in me. It's obvious."

"How are you so sure?"

"She kissed me." Y/N smiled.

"SHE WHAT?" Jihyo yelled with her loud voice.

"Yah, keep quiet."

"She really kissed you?" Jihyo whisper yelled.

"Yeah, then we made out in my office. I mean it's clear that she likes me."

"Y/N don't break her heart. You said it yourself, she has nothing to do with this." Y/N's friend suggested.

"There's no other way. She'll get her heart broken in the end. I don't want it either trust me, but this is just the only way I can destroy ImTech." Y/N sighed.

"Well, be careful you might break your own heart too." Jihyo patted Y/N's chest.

"What do you mean?"

"What if you fall for her?" Jihyo questioned. "You know it happens in movies all the time.. You're going to act like you like her but that acting might turn into reality. Just saying."

"That ain't happening. I've never fallen in love before and the first person I'm falling in love with is definitely not Im Nayeon." Y/N shook her head.

"Expect the unexpected, Y/N. You might be charming and attractive and all but so is she. I'm just saying be careful."

"Grandma are you ready?" Y/N yelled. She has to escape this conversation.

"Yes, yes. I'm here." The old woman finally showed up.

"Alright, let's go." Y/N said and with that the two left.
