Chapter 22

The next morning Y/N woke up with no Nayeon by her side. She suddenly remembered what they did last night. Y/N has a feeling that Nayeon trusts her already. I mean she called Y/N asking for help, she literally showed her scarred body and she had sex with her. If those aren't signs that Nayeon trusts the CEO, then I don't know what is.

"Oh you're awake. I made breakfast." Nayeon said as she put some food on the table.

"You didn't have to. What is this though? Why does it smell like something burned here?" Y/N sniffed the air.

"I might have burned the food, but don't worry these aren't burned."

"You've never cooked before, have you?" Y/N guessed and Nayeon shook her head. Nayeon's situation is kind of weird, she's getting abused by her family yet she's also very spoiled. Y/N doesn't quite get it.

Just when Y/N was about to sit down to eat, the doorbell rang. Nayeon raised her eyebrows looking at Y/N. Who could it be?

"It's probably Dahyun." Y/N guessed and went to the front door while Nayeon sat down to eat.

"What are you doing here?" Y/N asked when she saw Tzuyu and Chaeyoung in front of her.

"I told you she's here." Tzuyu said once Y/N opened the door.

"You didn't come home for two days so we got worried." Chaeyoung informed.

"No need to worry, I already told you I'm going to stay here for a few days."

"But you didn't go to the company yesterday and today neither." Tzuyu raised her eyebrows. What could her older sister be doing at this apartment?

"Y/N, where should I..." Nayeon approached her but stopped once she saw Chaeyoung and Tzuyu.

"Oh, now I get why you didn't come home." Chaeyoung chuckled.

"Hello, Nayeon-ssi." Tzuyu said and Nayeon just smiled weakly. They weren't supposed to know that Nayeon is staying here.

"We were just working on the project, don't think about something else." Y/N warned them.

"Yeah, right. So you wouldn't mind us coming in?" Tzuyu smirked.

"Don't you girls have work to do?" Y/N knows that Nayeon will feel uncomfortable if they enter so she tried to chase them away.

"Nope."

"It's okay Y/N, let them in. We were about to have breakfast, how about you two join us?" Nayeon smiled and Tzuyu and Chaeyoung both looked at each other like they just have seen a ghost. Since when is Nayeon being friendly to them?

"Sure." Chaeyoung said hesitantly and the two entered.

"She's speaking informally to you now, huh?" Tzuyu whispered to Y/N.

"Shut up." Y/N said and all of them sat down at the table. Y/N and Nayeon sat down next to each other and the two younger girls sat down in front of them.

"I'm guessing you two are planning something now that the news of the new project is out?" Tzuyu questioned.

"Yeah, that's why we're here. I already told you that it would be best if Nayeon-ssi and I don't meet in public, that's why we meet here instead." Y/N explained.

"Well, you could've told us you know." Chaeyoung said with her mouth full like always which drives Y/N crazy.

"I'm sorry." Y/N mouthed to Nayeon to which Nayeon just smiled and shook her head indicating that it's nothing.

"Let us help you." Tzuyu offered out of the blue.

"Help with what?" Y/N raised her eyebrows.

"Help you with the project. I mean now with Jin's project out there, your project needs adjustments if you want it to be more successful than his."

"Tzuyu-yah, we'll handle it don't worry about it." Y/N assured her.

"You never let me help you with anything. Just let me help this once." Tzuyu raised her voice. She's very thankful that Y/N is protective over her and that she lets Tzuyu do her thing but sometimes she wishes that her sister would let her help her instead of dealing with everything herself.

"Yeah, let us help you for once." Chaeyoung added.

"You literally have zero idea about doing business." Y/N reminded Chaeyoung. There's a reason why she dropped out of college.

"That doesn't mean that I can't help." Y/N sighed upon hearing that. The two younger girls are starting to annoy her. She knows they're doing this on purpose.

"No, you're not helping us. Shouldn't you be working for school?"

"We already did all our work for school." Tzuyu informed.

"Then go hang out with Chaeyoung's gang."

"Yah, if people hear you talk like this they'll really think I'm in a gang!" Chaeyoung protested. Of course she's not in a gang, but because her group of friends all wear leather jackets and go around with bikes, they look like they could be in a gang.

"I'd rather die than hang out with Chaeyoung's gang." Tzuyu shook her head.

"It's still a no." Y/N glared at them. Tzuyu became sad upon hearing that, which Nayeon noticed. It's obvious that Chaeyoung doesn't care about this at all, but Nayeon can see that Tzuyu also wants to contribute to the company.

"Y/N-ssi, let them stay and help us." Nayeon spoke up. The three girls looked at her in disbelief.

"W-what?" Y/N furrowed her eyebrows.

"They could bring something new to the table or they might see something that we don't." Nayeon said. She might not like Son Chaeyoung but she does want to be nice to them since they're Y/N's sister and cousin after all.

"I still don't think it's a good idea."

"C'mon, it wouldn't cause any harm to let them help us, would it?" Nayeon questioned.

"Are you sure?" Y/N asked and Nayeon nodded as she smiled and caressed Y/N's arm lightly.

"Fine." Y/N sighed deeply which put a smile on Tzuyu's face.

"You can only stay if you're going to help or else I'll throw you out, get that?" Y/N looked at the two and they nodded. Nayeon finds it admirable how the two younger girls respect and obey Y/N at all costs. It's like Y/N is a mother figure to them and they both trust her a lot.

"Perfect, let's just continue to eat now?" Nayeon asked and they all nodded. After they ate they started working on the project. Chaeyoung wasn't of much help, in fact she looked very bored and wanted to go home but she was just staying here for Tzuyu's sake. While Tzuyu was actually coming up with good ideas, which surprised Y/N.

"I told you that they could bring something to the table." Nayeon smiled as she looked at Y/N.

"Yeah, I gotta admit I'm surprised. You're becoming just like your older sister, huh?" Y/N laughed and messed up Tzuyu's hair.

"Yah, don't do that!" Tzuyu pushed her away. Nayeon just watched the two in front of her. She really loves their relationship and how Y/N has a weak spot for Tzuyu.

"I could've helped you even more if you would just let me." Tzuyu fired back.

"I'm sorry you're right, I'll let you help me more from now on. Deal?" Y/N smiled sweetly.

"Deal." Tzuyu tried to hide her smile.

"What about me?" Chaeyoung joined them.

"Not a chance."

"Why though?" Chaeyoung pouted. She doesn't even want to help, she just likes to tease her older cousin.

"You just focus on art school, okay?" Y/N patted the girl's head.

"Ugh, fine."

"I'll get us some drinks. I'll be right back." Y/N said and went to the kitchen.

"T-thank you for letting us stay." Tzuyu said to Nayeon. If it wasn't for Nayeon, Y/N never would have let them stay.

"Oh it's okay. I knew you would be of big help. I'm glad that Y/N-ssi finally sees that as well." Nayeon smiled weakly. Chaeyoung and Tzuyu can see that Nayeon likes Y/N. In the past few hours they have noticed how Nayeon looks at Y/N and how she keeps smiling when Y/N says something to her. That explains why Nayeon is suddenly being friendly to them.

If Chaeyoung didn't know about Y/N's plans, she would have thought that Nayeon is just trying to get in Y/N's pants and she definitely wouldn't have been keeping quiet right now. But knowing Y/N's plan and seeing how Nayeon likes Y/N, she actually feels a bit bad for her. Same thing goes for Tzuyu.

"Here you go." Y/N came back and put some drinks on the table.

"Oh Momo is calling, I should answer this." Nayeon stood up and went to the bedroom.

"I guess your plan is working huh?" Chaeyoung went closer to Y/N and so did Tzuyu. It wouldn't be good for Nayeon to hear this.

"What do you mean?"

"She likes you. It's very obvious." Tzuyu stated.

"I know she does." Y/N nodded to herself. She should be happy that her plan is working, but why does a part of her not like this?

"Don't you think you went a bit far?" Tzuyu asked. "I mean why is she staying at your place?"

"Her dad threw her out after finding out about what we did so she had nowhere else to go." Y/N explained.

"Still, you shouldn't have had sex with her." Chaeyoung said and Y/N widened her eyes. How do they know?

"Who said that I had sex with her?"

"The hickeys on her neck say it all." Chaeyoung chuckled. Y/N cursed herself out internally. She should have thought twice before putting them on Nayeon.

"Do you perhaps like her as well?" Tzuyu asked.

"No, I already told you it's all part of the plan." Y/N laughed as she shook her head. She can't like Nayeon, can she?

"Is that why you actually seem to like being around her?" Chaeyoung questioned.

"Look, I don't like her but I'll admit that she's a nice person to be around. She's nothing like I expected."

"What if you end up falling for her?" Tzuyu asked and Y/N sighed again. This is the same question that Jihyo asked her before.

"That won't happen. When did I even fall for anyone, Tzuyu?"

"Im Nayeon might change your mind about that." Chaeyoung stated.

"Yeah, ain't happening." Y/N is sure that it won't happen.

"Y/N-ssi?" Nayeon got out of the bedroom. "Can you come for a minute?" She asked and Y/N nodded.

"What's going on? Why did Momo call?"

"My dad wants me to go to the company tomorrow." Nayeon informed.

"What? Are you going to go?"

"Yes, I mean I have to. It won't be good to make him even angrier. I'm guessing that he'll take me back in."

"Are you sure you'll be fine though? You don't have to go back there." Y/N approached her as she caressed the girl's arm.

"I have to, Y/N. If I want our plan to work then I have to." She sighed.

"He's definitely going to threaten you and tell you to give up so act like you're actually giving up."

"What, why?" Nayeon furrowed her eyebrows.

"Don't say that you won't give up. Just agree with whatever he says, but agree lowkey. Don't make it too obvious that you're agreeing. Make it seem like you're losing hope. That way he'll keep less of an eye on you." Y/N suggested. How is she so good at predicting what is going to happen?

"Okay, I'll do that." Nayeon nodded.

"Let's go back to the girls." The CEO suggested and Nayeon nodded.

"Unnie, we should go back home now." Tzuyu stated.

"But you didn't eat yet. We should have dinner first." Y/N said. "How about we go out for dinner? It's my treat."

"Free food? Hell yeah, I'm in." Chaeyoung cheered.

"I guess I'm in too." Tzuyu added.

"How about you Nayeon-ssi?" Y/N looked at Nayeon.

"M-me? I should stay here." Nayeon can't go out in public in this state.

"C'mon join us. You haven't been out of the apartment for 2 days." Y/N said weakly so that the two younger girls at the other side of the room wouldn't hear.

"They'll see my cuts." Nayeon looked down.

"They're not that visible anymore. Tzuyu and Chaeyoung didn't even notice them. I'm sure people outside won't notice either. We'll put some make up on it and it won't be visible at all." Y/N tried to convince her. Chaeyoung and Tzuyu just watched them in the distance. Since the two older girls are speaking in a very low voice they can't hear what they're saying.

"Either Y/N unnie is a very good actress or she actually cares about Nayeon." Chaeyoung said.

"I think it's both." Tzuyu nodded as she watched Y/N and Nayeon. "I have a feeling this isn't going to end well."

"Yeah me too, I feel like something bad is going to happen." Chaeyoung stated and Tzuyu nodded. They really want to stop Y/N from going after revenge but they know she won't listen. Y/N will get her revenge no matter what, but her family is worried that she might be putting herself in big danger.

"Are you sure? I mean what if reporters see me?" Nayeon asked.

"It'll be fine really. They won't see anything. We'll go somewhere where there are no reporters" Y/N assured her and Nayeon finally gave in.

"Alright everyone get ready. We're going out." Y/N yelled.

"Which restaurant are we going to?" Chaeyoung asked.

"How about we just go to our restaurant? I think it's the safest place for us to go for now." Y/N suggested and everyone agreed. Chou Holdings has their own restaurant near their building, so whenever Y/N is hungry she goes there from time to time.
