Chapter 26

"Ms. Chou?" Dahyun entered Y/N's office.

"Yes, Dahyun-ah?"

"I looked into Im Nayeon and Bae Irene's relationship." Y/N asked Dahyun to look more into the two's relationship since it looked like the two don't like each other at all.

"Ah yes. What did you find out? Why don't they like each other?"

"Apparently they never liked each other. They dated the same guy in the past and let's just say that he's the reason for their rivalry. Other than that there's no particular reason for the hate between them." Dahyun explained.

"Ah that explains it a bit more." Y/N chuckled.

"Also I looked more into ImTech's project to see if there are any cracks or hidden things that we could take advantage of."

"Sit down, Dahyun-ah." Y/N gestured to the seat in front of her. "I'm guessing that you found something right?"

"I surely did. I even came up with a plan. Would you like to hear it?" Dahyun has been very loyal to Y/N ever since the beginning. She wants to impress Y/N even more, that's why she's so immersed in this project as well.

"Sure, go ahead. I'm listening."

"So your plan is to take over ImTech right? I thought about how you could do it and I came up with a great plan. In order for you to take over ImTech, you need to be the largest shareholder. How many shares do you have right now?"

"I have some, but not many. I'm definitely not in the list of their largest shareholders."

"Exactly, you need to buy more of their shares." Dahyun suggested.

"How? They have no shares on the market right now."

"Yes, not now but they will in the future according to my great plan. We need to make their stock prices decrease to the point where they'll need money to survive. And when that happens they're going to try to sell their shares because they'll be in huge need of money, and that's where you'll chime in and buy all the available shares."

"Okay, I could do that but how are we going to lower their stock prices? I mean even after we scammed Jin with those buildings, their value didn't drop that much." Y/N remembered. In fact the stock prices rose back again after like 2 weeks. ImTech has such a good reputation that it'll be hard to harm them.

"I might have something that could help. Like you requested I followed Jin and his father around. I couldn't find much about Jin, but I surely found something about Mr. Im. Take a look at these." Dahyun handed her some pictures which made Y/N's eyes widen.

"He's having an affair, huh? And that with Mrs. Minatozaki? Wow." Y/N laughed. She wasn't expecting this at all.

"Imagine what would happen once that news gets out. A married man with children is having an affair with his largest shareholder's wife." Mr. Minatozaki is ImTech's largest shareholder so if this news comes out, Mr. Minatozaki will be furious.

"That doesn't sound good indeed but this is probably not enough to lower their stock prices." Although it would harm their reputation, Y/N doesn't think it would affect the stock prices that much.

"Really? I thought it would be enough." Dahyun sighed.

"Does anyone else know about their affair?"

"I don't think so. They meet up secretly and I even caught them lying to their families about where they're going." Dahyun informed.

"It is a good approach, Dahyun-ah. In fact you made me actually come up with an idea." Y/N smiled. Dahyun's plan won't really work, but it made Y/N think of something that could actually work.

"You're doing well lately. I should raise your salary." Dahyun is doing everything that Y/N asks her to and she's doing a good job at it as well.

"Thank you, Ms. Chou." Of course Dahyun is happy to hear that.

"You can go now." Y/N said and with that Dahyun left the office.

"So you're cheating huh, Mr. Im? Why am I not surprised." Y/N said to herself looking at the pictures. "You're going down, Mr. Im."

"Ms. Chou, Myoui Mina is here." Y/N's secretary told her. Myoui Mina? What is she doing here?

"Let her in." Y/N demanded and the secretary did as she was told.

"Sit down please, Mina-ssi." Y/N gestured to the seat in front of her.

"You look surprised that I'm here." Mina noticed.

"Yeah, well you've never been here before. But I was actually wanting to meet you as well so it's a good thing you're here."

"Why did you want to meet me?" Mina asked.

"How about we talk about why you're here first?"

"I came here to apologize for the other day. I didn't mean to make the dinner awkward. I ruined it, I'm sorry."

"That's okay, I mean I didn't expect that dinner to go well anyways since Sana was there." When Sana is present, things never go well.

"Still, I'm sorry. I feel bad about it."

"You know there's something else to feel bad about right? I don't know much about what's going on between you and Chaeyoung but I've never seen her be sad like this and you know very well that I don't like seeing my cousin like that."

"S-she's sad?" Mina asked weakly.

"Yeah, ever since that dinner she's acting different. Look, Chaeyoung really likes you."

"I know, Y/N. I know that very well but what do you want me to do? I don't like her like that."

"Then why are your actions different than your words? If you don't like her, why are you acting like you do?" Y/N questioned. Mina isn't making any sense right now.

"Even if I do like her, the two of us can never be together. We both come from rich families, we're both in the public eye, not to mention that Chaeyoung doesn't have a very good reputation. Do you think people would accept the fact that we're dating? We're two girls, Y/N. You know how society is. Our company and Chaeyoung's family's company, it will all go downhill. Chaeyoung's reputation will even worsen even more. She's already going through a hard time because she's different. I can't make it harder for her."

Y/N smiled weakly upon hearing Mina's explanation. Mina is right indeed. They won't be accepted neither by their families nor the outside world but the way Mina said that she doesn't want to make it harder for Chaeyoung shows that Mina does care about her.

"Then what Mina? You're going to deny that you like her until you finally stop liking her?"

"I have no other choice. It's true that I like her. You already know so there's no point in denying. Chaeyoung knows that too, that's why she won't give up. But I just wish she could see that it's impossible."

"It's not impossible, Mina. Nothing is. I won't force you to do anything. It's your choice after all but can you please talk to Chaeyoung about this? I really think you two need to talk." Y/N suggested.

"I will. I think we need to talk as well. Thank you for your time Y/N." Mina stood up.

"No problem." Y/N smiled and Mina was about to walk away but stopped when Y/N said something.

"Call me if you're having a hard time. I know you're a good person even though you act like you're not. I know you're going through a lot. Just know that I'm here if you want to talk." Y/N said without even looking at Mina. Hearing that, Mina's eyes became teary. She is indeed going through a lot. She's sick of acting like she's someone like Sana when she's not. Sana is coldhearted and doesn't care about anyone else other than herself, but Mina is not like that and Y/N seems to know that.

"Nayeon-ssi?" Y/N called her.

"Yes?"

"Can we meet today?"

"Oh yeah, how about in an hour in your apartment?" Nayeon asked. Yes, her father told her not to meet Y/N but she really wants to.

"Perfect." Y/N hung up and made her way to her apartment. After about an hour her doorbell rang.

"I brought food." Nayeon smiled when Y/N opened the door.

"Come in." Y/N widened the door and Nayeon entered putting the bags with the food on the table. Right when she was about to turn around, Y/N approached her and pulled her into a kiss. Nayeon was surprised but immediately responded. Y/N kissed her lovingly, which made Nayeon smile into the kiss.

"What was that for?" Nayeon asked when Y/N pulled away.

"Just felt like it." Y/N shrugged it off as she sat down. "C'mon let's eat." The CEO patted the space next to her for Nayeon to sit down.

"How did it go with your dad yesterday?"

"It went okay. I asked for forgiveness and he forgave me, although I did get threatened." Nayeon sighed as she ate her food.

"Well, it's a good thing that he at least forgave you."

"I did what you told me. I made it look like I'm giving up on the CEO position."

"Did they fall for it?"

"I think they did, yeah." Nayeon nodded. She's not going to mention the fact that her dad told her to stay away from Y/N. She doesn't want Y/N to distance herself from her.

The two just continued to eat and after that they decided to look at how the project is doing so far and it's doing pretty good.

"It's really all thanks to you that this is doing well." Nayeon told Y/N.

"Hmm really?" Y/N suddenly locked eyes with Nayeon. Y/N's look is so intense that it could melt Nayeon's heart any second.

"You look beautiful today." Y/N complimented. She's never complimented Nayeon before.

"I do?" Nayeon went closer to her and Y/N nodded as her eyes travelled down to Nayeon's lips. The sexual tension in the room is real.

Nayeon went even closer to Y/N and crashed her lips onto hers. She wrapped her arms around Y/N's nape and deepened the kiss. She has never wanted someone so much in her life. Y/N wrapped her arms around Nayeon's waist and lifted the girl up so that Nayeon is sitting on Y/N's lap right now.

Their make out session continued as Nayeon started to grind on Y/N. Y/N is getting very turned on right now and she even let out a moan. This was supposed to be all an act, but why is she enjoying it this much? She needs to stop this before it gets out of hand.

"Nayeon-ssi?" Y/N said when Nayeon started to kiss her neck.

"Hmm?"

"W-we should stop." Nayeon immediately pulled away when Y/N said that.

"Why? Did I make you uncomfortable?" She worried.

"No, no. You didn't." Y/N lied. She was feeling uncomfortable.

"Then what is it?"

"Can we just cuddle?" Luckily Nayeon gave in without further questioning and cuddled onto Y/N.

"You make me go crazy, Y/N." Nayeon admitted.

"Is that how much you like me?" Y/N smiled as Nayeon nodded. There's no point in denying, Y/N knows that Nayeon is completely head over heels for her.

"Everyone that I liked in the past stabbed me in the back. You won't do that, right?"

"Of course not. I'm going to protect you at all costs." Y/N caressed Nayeon's hair. Fuck, now she feels very bad for what's going to come in the future. She does realize that she has some small feelings towards Nayeon, but she can't let that get in the way of her revenge.

"I need to go home now. My dad doesn't want me to come home late." Nayeon stood up.

"When will I see you again?" Y/N asked as she stood up as well.

"I'm not sure. I'll call you." Nayeon smiled and kissed Y/N's cheek before leaving the apartment. The moment Nayeon left, Y/N touched her own cheek. Why did that simple kiss make her heart flutter?

"Fuck, you can't like her, Y/N. You can't." Y/N started to shake her head.

"Mr. Lee? Can we meet up like right now?" Y/N called her secretary and of course he agreed making his way immediately to Y/N's place.

"What did you call me for Ms. Chou?" And there Y/N shared her plan with him. Her plan is to make everyone think that the project is going to fail, even though it won't. The moment the shareholders and investors think that ImTech is losing a lot of money because of that project, the stock prices will drop. A lot of shareholders are going to want to get rid of their shares and ImTech will have no choice but to sell some of their own shares as well. Y/N will buy as much as she can in order to become their largest shareholder. Once she becomes the largest shareholder she can convince the other shareholders into changing the CEO. That way she can bring Mr. Im down, make Nayeon the CEO and eventually destroy ImTech.

"Are you sure you want to do this? I mean once the news about the project is out there's no returning back. And people will eventually find out that it's actually not failing. It's going to make us seem like liars."

"Don't worry about it. Just make sure that the news gets released." Y/N said.

"Okay, Ms. Chou. I'll be working right on it." The man said and left.

"Sorry, Nayeon-ah, but I have to use you for this to become successful." Y/N sighed to herself. Of course Y/N will take care of Nayeon when everything is over. Once ImTech is destroyed the entire family will probably end up on the streets, but Y/N won't let that happen to Nayeon. Yes, she'll ruin Nayeon's wish of becoming the CEO, but no way that she'll let Nayeon end up like her family. Because after all Nayeon didn't do anything wrong, she shouldn't pay for what her family did.
