Chapter 27

Y/N is hanging out with Tzuyu and Chaeyoung in the living room right now which is something she does quite often.

"Unnie, do you like my drawing?" Chaeyoung asked Y/N as she showed her one of the drawings she made at school.

"Wah, you're really talented Chaeyoung-ah. Now I see I made the right choice by enrolling you into that school."

"Hell yeah you did." Tzuyu interrupted. "I mean she's way more bearable now that she's going to art school." They laughed except for Chaeyoung. She glared at them instead of laughing.

"Y/N what did you do again?" Mr. Chou joined them from the kitchen.

"What do you mean, dad?" Y/N questioned. She does know what he's talking about but she asked him anyways.

"I'm talking about this." He turned on the tv and switched it to the news channel.

It is reported that ImTech's project involving the Ray district is doing very badly. It is expected for ImTech to lose a lot of money including the money from all the investors that invested in their project. By this new information the stock prices of ImTech are already dropping. Just within an hour the stock price has dropped by 20%, which is the lowest price in 5 years.

"Wait, what? How is this possible?" Tzuyu asked in confusion. "Didn't you say that the project is doing well? Making profit even?"

"Fuck, does this mean you'll lose all the money you invested in it?" Chaeyoung asked.

"You don't look surprised. You did something didn't you?" Mr. Chou knows his daughter well. He knows that Y/N did this. No project that she has invested in before has made loss and by seeing how Y/N is not freaking out right now, he can confirm that Y/N is the one behind this.

"If you're asking if I spread the news, then yes I did."

"Wait, wait, wait. Why would you purposely lose money?" Tzuyu is very confused.

"I'm not losing any money because the project is still going well. It's still making profit." Y/N explained.

"Yet the news is saying otherwise. Why is that?" Her father asked.

"Isn't it obvious? Their stock prices are dropping."

"Y/N this isn't the right way to drop their stock prices. It will soon get out that it isn't true. What will you do then?" The man asked.

"That's why I need to act quick. I don't have a lot of time. I either attack now or never."

"How will you even do that unnie?" Tzuyu asked.

"You'll see. Now excuse me, I have work to do." Y/N stood up and went to her room.

"She's been planning this for months, but I wasn't expecting for her to attack this soon." Mrs. Chou stated.

"It's Y/N unnie we're talking about. Of course she was going to attack one day. Let's just hope that it turns out well." Chaeyoung sighed. Y/N's family is crazy worried about this matter.

"Mr. Chou? Im Nayeon is here she wants to see Ms. Y/N." One of the maids said.

"Now this is going to be interesting." Chaeyoung laughed.

"Let her in. Show her the way to Y/N's room." He demanded and the maid did as she was told.

"Did you see the news?" Nayeon barged into Y/N's room without even knocking, which Y/N didn't appreciate at all.

"Yes, I did."

"I'm freaking out. How can that news go out? It's not even true! The project isn't making any loss at all. Where the hell would they get information like this?" Nayeon held her head in frustration.

"From me. I spread the news." Y/N admitted.

"Y-you did what?" Nayeon can't believe her ears.

"You heard me."

"Why the fuck would you do that?! You know that this project is my only chance to prove myself! How could you spread some fake news like that??" Now everyone will think that it's all Nayeon's fault since she's the one leading the project.

"It isn't, Nayeon-ssi. Even if you do crazy well on this project, you'll still not become the CEO. So we gotta do it the dirty way and that is to take that position away from your dad."

"Why are you always acting on your own?" Nayeon pushed Y/N's shoulder. "Aren't we partners? Why did you do something like this without talking to me?"

"Because you wouldn't agree."

"Hell yeah I wouldn't. I'm sure that my dad heard this by now and let me tell you something. He's going to kill me this time. I'm not even fucking joking! Didn't you see what he did to me last time? Do you want that to happen to me again?" Nayeon yelled. She's really mad right now. How can Y/N act without talking to her about it first?

"No, of course not. That's why I need you to disappear. My driver is waiting for you downstairs, he'll bring you to one of our beach houses. I need you to stay there for some time."

"Are you serious? Why would I do what you say? You keep acting on your own without involving me in your decisions and I'm so sick of it Y/N!"

"Nayeon, listen to me please." Y/N approached her and held her tightly.

"I have a plan to make you the CEO and I need to attack right now, but I can't do it if you're around. I need you to leave now, for your own safety. Like you said yourself, they're probably looking for you. So please just do as I say."

"How will this even make me the CEO?"

"I just need you to trust me. Now please go before they come after you. The first place they'll look for is here, so I need you to go right now. I'll come visit you, and I'll explain everything. But right now please go." Y/N pleaded.

"I'm only doing this because I have no choice, not because you told me to." Nayeon said in a heavy tone. If she doesn't leave then the situation will get pretty bad. Her dad and brother are definitely going to hurt her, so yeah she needs to run away.

"Make sure to turn off your phone. Here's a phone in case you need to contact me. Please just stay there and don't go anywhere else okay? I promise it'll turn out the way we want it to." Y/N looked into Nayeon's eyes and cupped her face.

"You're a dick, Chou Y/N." Nayeon stated. She's really frustrated that Y/N put her in a situation like this.

"I'm doing this for you. I'll make you the CEO no matter what." Y/N assured her. It's true that she will make Nayeon the CEO, but no one knows what will come afterwards except for Y/N.

"Now follow me to the car. I'll visit you in a couple of days, please just do as I say." Y/N pulled Nayeon with her and brought her to her driver. She said something to her driver which Nayeon didn't really hear. Y/N could be kidnapping Nayeon or maybe she's even planning to kill Nayeon, but Nayeon still went with what Y/N told her because she trusts the CEO.

"Y/N?" Nayeon said before entering the car.

"Yes?"

"I trust you, please don't disappoint me." She said and entered the car. Y/N sighed deeply once the car left.

"She's going to be really disappointed." Tzuyu suddenly showed up.

"She's going to hate me and I hate that it's going to happen." Y/N admitted.

"Then why are you still doing this? It's obvious you care for her yet you're still using her."

"Because I owe it to them." Y/N said weakly and left the scene. She entered her car and went to the company.

"Dad, Nayeon is nowhere to be found. She's been missing ever since she left the company." Jin told his father. The two found out the news a bit later than Nayeon and they are furious. Luckily Nayeon is not in sight or she would've been dead right now.

"She ran away, huh? She knows I'm going to kill her so she ran away." The man chuckled as he hit his desk almost breaking it.

"Find her or I'll make your life a living hell." He held Jin's collar harshly.

"Y-yes, father." Jin answered and his father pushed him making him fall on the floor. Jin immediately got up and went to the one person that will have the answers to his questions. Chou Y/N.

"I need to see Chou Y/N." He said to the secretary when he entered the Chou Holdings building.

"She's not accepting anyone right now. I'm sorry."

"I need to see her right now!" He yelled and caught everyone's attention.

"I'm really sorry sir, you can't."

"Fine then I'll go find her myself." He said and went into the direction of Y/N's office.

"Sir! Please sir!" The secretary yelled but of course he didn't listen. He went to Y/N's office and stormed inside startling Y/N.

"What the fuck did you do?" He held Y/N by her collar.

"I see you're a bit frustrated, Jin-ssi."

"You did this didn't you? You spread the news." He gritted his teeth.

"You..." Y/N pushed him away. "have no proof."

"I don't know what the fuck you're planning, Chou Y/N but don't involve my sister in this. Tell me where she is right now. I know that you're hiding her."

"Why would I do that? So that you and your shitty father can abuse her again?" Y/N asked and Jin was taken aback. How does she know? But then again Nayeon stayed at Y/N's place after Mr. Im beat the shit out of her, of course she'd know.

"That's a family matter. You have no right to come in between us." Jin warned.

"I have the right when your shitty father is abusing her."

"Tell me where she is." He approached her once again.

"I don't know where she is." Y/N lied.

"Fucking liar! I know you do." He pushed Y/N but luckily Y/N is a strong woman, so she didn't even budge.

"Don't waste your energy, Jin. Nayeon is somewhere far away, somewhere safe, where no one, especially you and your dad, can hurt her."

"I get that you want revenge for putting your dad in jail but isn't this too much? Why are you involving Nayeon in this? She doesn't even know what happened!" Jin is really frustrated right now.

"Who said I'm planning to hurt her? I know she didn't do anything wrong."

"But you're using her to get to us. You know she really trusts you. You have her wrapped all around your finger and you're taking advantage of that." Jin stated and Y/N didn't say anything because yes it's true. Jin isn't stupid. He knows that Nayeon is in love with Y/N, and it's actually disturbing him that Y/N is using that to her advantage.

"Like I said I won't hurt Nayeon, but I will hurt you and your dad."

"You're going this far just because we put your dad in jail for two years? It was his own fault, Chou Y/N. He shouldn't have been that stupid." He chuckled.

"Don't you dare call him stupid." Y/N held him by his collar and pinned him against the wall.

"You're putting yourself in a lot of danger, Chou Y/N. You might not come out alive after this." Jin warned.

"You know, I feel very sorry for Nayeon. She needs to live in the same house with her murderer of a brother." Y/N said as she let Jin go.

"W-what?" Jin doesn't know if he heard it right. Did she just call him a murderer?

"You seem surprised. Why? Because I called you a murderer?"

"I don't know where you got that idea, but it's ridiculous." Jin shook his head.

"Do you remember your victims, Jin? The man and woman you killed 8 years ago?"

"I don't know what you're talking about." Jin acted like he didn't know.

"Mrs. and Mr. Park both gone because of you." Jin froze upon hearing the names. No one knows about this, how does Y/N even know? A better question is what is her relationship with those people?

"How the fuck do you know them?"

"Does that matter? They're both dead because of you. Someone lost their children because of you, someone lost their parents because of you. How can you live with that? You're really disgusting." Y/N's blood is boiling just by thinking about it.

"I don't know what your relationship was with them, but now I get that this is more than just your dad, isn't it?" Jin put the puzzle pieces together.

"The fact that I had to tell you myself is really funny. How weak that you couldn't find out on your own that I was the person that made your lives difficult back then. You killed innocent people, Jin-ssi. It was me who you were planning to kill." Y/N revealed and to say that Jin is shocked is an understatement.

"W-w-w-what? You were the one threatening us back then? But that can't be..." Jin started to have flashbacks in his head, trying to figure out what Y/N is talking about.

"It is, I was the one. I wanted revenge for my dad but instead of me you killed two innocent people. They lost their lives because of me and I'm going to make sure to make your life a living hell, Im Seokjin." Y/N assured. Jin is still in shock, did he really kill those people for nothing? He got blood on his hands for nothing? The person that did all of that is still walking around freely? And hell it's Chou Y/N?

"I-I need to go." Jin said and walked out of the office without sparing a glance at Y/N. He needs to find out who those people were and what Y/N's relationship was with them.

"This is just the beginning, Im Seokjin." Y/N said to herself once Jin left.

It's been three days and Jin and Mr. Im still can't find Nayeon. Mr. Im is so angry at this point that he can kill both Nayeon and Y/N. The stock price of ImTech keeps dropping and shareholders and investors keep bothering them about this matter. ImTech's situation is pretty bad right now however that was not what Jin was worried about.

Jin found out who Mr. Park and Mrs. Park really were. He found out that they were close to Y/N and how they risked their lives for her. Now it all makes sense why Y/N hates Jin that much. Of course he shared this information with his father and he was quite shocked by this information as well.

"We need to find Nayeon. She can hurt her, Jin. We can't let that happen." After hearing this information, Mr. Im changed his mind about Nayeon. He thought that Nayeon was the one behind the fake news, but turns out Chou Y/N is the one. Hearing how his son killed the people who were important to Y/N gave him the idea that Y/N might kill the people who are important to them as well. Nayeon is one of them.

"I don't think she'll hurt her." Jin stated.

"Don't you get it, you pabo? We killed two people who were important to her. What makes you think that she wouldn't hurt Nayeon?"

"Because she cares about Nayeon. Believe me if she really wanted to hurt her then she already would have. I don't think Y/N is capable of killing, she has other plans. Plans that don't involve hurting Nayeon. She's just using Nayeon to hurt us." Jin guessed.

"Whatever it is, we can't let her involve Nayeon in this. She already has her wrapped around her finger and she even managed to drop our stock prices. That woman is dangerous, Jin." The man worried. Yes, he might abuse his children but he does care about them somewhere deep down.
