Chapter 42

"Hey love. How did your day go?" Nayeon asked entering Y/N's room. Nayeon was at work all day and came home pretty late. Y/N missed her.

"It went okay. How about yours? How does it feel to be the CEO now?" Y/N smiled and kissed Nayeon's cheek.

"It feels weird. Everyone suddenly treats me differently."

"That's how this industry works. The higher your position, the nicer people are towards you." Y/N sighed and went towards her drawer.

"I have something for you." Y/N suddenly took out a box and handed it to Nayeon. "See it as a gift on becoming the CEO."

"Y/N..." Nayeon doesn't like the fact that Y/N spend money on her.

"C'mon just open it." Y/N demanded and Nayeon did as she was told. The moment she opened the box, she gasped. It's a beautiful diamond bracelet.

"Now that you're the CEO, I think it would fit you very well."

"Y/N... This is absolutely beautiful." Nayeon took out the bracelet. "But isn't this too expensive?"

"No, I'm rich remember?" Y/N chuckled. "Let me put it on you." She suggested and Nayeon handed her the bracelet so that she can put it around Nayeon's wrist.

"Thank you so much. I love it." Nayeon smiled and captured Y/N's lips with her own. It was a slow but meaningful kiss.

"Is this your way of courting people?" Nayeon teased.

"Yah that's not the reason why I bought it. I bought it as a gift for becoming the CEO." Y/N defended.

"I know, I know. I'm just teasing you." Nayeon laughed and hugged Y/N tightly while Y/N rested her chin on Nayeon's shoulder.

"Are you really going to move out? I got so used to having you around the house."

"I can't stay here forever Y/N. I'm not part of your family and I should just have my own place as well don't you think?" Nayeon pulled away from the hug.

"Just stay in my apartment then. I don't stay there anyways, it's empty."

"No, that apartment was a gift to you from your parents. I can't stay there." Nayeon is being stubborn.

"Okay fine, if you want an apartment then we'll get you one."

"Don't be sad, I'll still come to visit you. I love your family and this house. I'm pretty sure I'll come here often." Nayeon caressed Y/N's arm.

"Well you better do and don't say that you're not a part of this family because you slowly are becoming one."

"Really?"

"Yes, my mom absolutely loves you. She would have adopted you if you were a minor." Y/N joked which made Nayeon laugh.

"Well maybe I can fasten the process of becoming part of your family." Nayeon said seductively and touched Y/N's collar, adjusting it.

"How are you going to do that?" Y/N feels very hot right now. Nayeon is so freaking hot whenever she flirts like that.

"By saying yes."

"Yes?" Y/N was confused.

"Yes, I'll be your girlfriend." Nayeon smiled and Y/N couldn't be happier to hear that.

"Really?" Y/N said in full excitement.

"Yes really. I'm putting an end to your misery."

"Aaaaaaah thank youuu." Y/N lifted her up. "So you're really my girlfriend now?"

"Yes Y/N. I, Im Nayeon, am your girlfriend." Nayeon said slowly so that Y/N believes it.

"I fucking love you, Im Nayeon." Y/N said and crashed her lips onto Nayeon's. "So now we can have sex right?"

"You really cant't wait, can you?" Nayeon chuckled and Y/N shook her head.

"Fine then. You're lucky that I'm in a good mood." Nayeon said and pushed Y/N onto the bed which startled Y/N. So. Fucking. Hot.

The next morning Y/N and Nayeon woke up and went downstairs holding hands.

"Woah, what's with you two? You look so happy." Chaeyoung noticed.

"Y/N unnie is really going for it." Tzuyu chuckled.

"I'm here to announce that Im Nayeon finally agreed on being my girlfriend."

"Oh my God! I'm so happy for the both of you!" Mrs. Chou exclaimed and hugged both of them. Mrs. Chou is probably the happiest out of all of them. She loves to see her daughter happy.

"Congrats you two. And thank you Nayeon unnie for finally showing Y/N unnie that she can love as well." Chaeyoung said. Tzuyu and Mr. Chou also congratulated them. Even though they're happy, they're still quite worried about the couple. Y/N will soon put Nayeon's father and brother in jail. How will Nayeon react to it?

"Thank you guys. We're going to have breakfast outside so you guys can have breakfast without us." Y/N mentioned.

"Already going on a date huh?" Chaeyoung teased.

"Yeah maybe you should take Mina on a date as well. She looks kinda bored you know." Y/N fired back and Nayeon hit her girlfriends's arm.

"Yah! Why are you so mean?"

"I'm just joking Chaengie. Anyways we should go now." Y/N said and with that the two left to have some breakfast. After they had breakfast the two parted ways to go to work.

After working for a few hours, it was time for Y/N to meet Mr. Im. The man called her yesterday asking to meet at ImTech so she's on her way to the company. She already knows what he'll say so she's prepared.

"I'm here to see Mr. Im." She told his secretary and the secretary brought Y/N to Mr. Im's new office since his previous one is Nayeon's now.

"Chou Y/N. Thank you for coming. Sit down please." He gestured to the seat in front of him and Y/N sat down.

"What do you want to talk about?"

"Very impatient, aren't you?" He laughed. "How about we drink some coffee first?"

"Please just get to the point, I don't have much time." Y/N pleaded.

"Well, I already asked you to sell your shares and you said you would get back to me, but you didn't. So I was curious on what you're planning to do."

"Why are you so persistent on getting my shares?"

"Because those were mine in the first place. This is my company so I should have the most shares here." The man answered.

"So it's not because you want to change the CEO?"

"No, I'm happy with Nayeon as the CEO. I just want my shares back and you have no choice but to sell them, unless you want both you and Nayeon to go down. You know I have the pictures. I'm not afraid to release them Y/N-ssi."

"How can I trust you? I mean how do I know you won't release those pictures afterwards?"

"I'm a man of my words." Y/N chuckled internally. Yeah, right a man of your words. Without Mr. Im noticing Y/N took out a small recorder from her pocket. She needs to place it somewhere in this office since they need to continue recording his conversations. They need to be aware of his plans.

"You're just going to have to trust me. I'll delete the pictures in front of your eyes. So what do you say?"

"I'm going to need a little bit of time." Y/N answered and the man sighed. That's the same thing she said last time. "I don't trust you and selling you those shares will be risky. I will sell them though, just not now."

"Not now? Then when will you?"

"I don't know what you'll do with those shares so that's why I'm not going to sell them to you immediately. I want Nayeon to experience being a CEO at least for two weeks."

"So you're saying you'll sell them after two weeks?" The man repeated.

"Yes. Give me two weeks and those shares will be yours."

"I'll give you two weeks but I swear if you're trying to lead me on or waste my time, I won't even think a second before releasing those pictures."

"It goes both ways, Mr. Im. Release those pictures and you won't see your shares." Y/N glared at him which made him laugh. Y/N is indeed a very good competitor despite her being pretty young.

"Then I guess we have a deal. You'll sell me your shares within two weeks and I won't release the pictures. Deal?" Nayeon's father offered his hand for a handshake.

"Deal." Y/N said and shook his hand. You're really not going to be happy in two weeks, Mr. Im.

"Now that we're done, I should go." Y/N stood up.

"Mr. Im you have a call. It's urgent." His secretary came into the room.

"Excuse me, I'll be right back." Mr. Im said and went out of the office. It was the perfect timing for Y/N to hide the recorder somewhere, which she did.

"Thank you for coming. I hope to see you soon." The man fake smiled as he came back.

"No problem, see you soon Mr. Im." And with that Y/N left. Now that she's here anyways, she thought of visiting Nayeon and see how she's doing as a CEO so she went to Nayeon's new office.

"Y/N?" Nayeon raised her eyebrows.  "What are you doing here?"

"Just came to see my girlfriend. Is that wrong?" Y/N questioned and Nayeon locked her office's door. It's risky for Y/N to be here.

"Y/N we need to be careful. You know that a lot of people want to bring us down."

"Yes, babe but I'm a major shareholder of this company so it makes sense for me to meet up with you. Besides we're both girls, no one would suspect us to be dating. Would they?" Y/N approached her girlfriend and caressed her face.

"You're right, I'm just being paranoid." Nayeon sighed.

"Don't worry I won't come here that often. I was close to the area so I just wanted to see how you're doing."

"Just working as you can see." Nayeon smiled and Y/N walked around the office, checking it out.

"Your office looks nice. Way better than that boring office of your dad." Y/N said and Nayeon chuckled.

"I have great taste, don't I?"

"Yes you do, love. But I should go now. I still have some work to do." Y/N stated. "I'll see you home." The woman said and kissed Nayeon's forehead before unlocking the door and leaving. Nayeon was smiling very widely just by seeing Y/N. She loves the girl so much that Nayeon never thought that it was possible.

"Was that Ms. Chou?" Momo asked coming in.

"Yeah she just wanted to see how I'm doing."

"Oh she must have come here after talking to your dad." Momo guessed.

"To my dad? Did Y/N talk to my dad?"

"Yeah, didn't she tell you? She apparently had a meeting with Mr. Im. I think it was right before she came here." The assistant explained and Nayeon got confused. Why did Y/N have a meeting with her dad and why didn't she tell her about it?

Sana called Y/N and asked her to come by. Sana has been looking into Mr. Im's case and all the information that Y/N gave her so she wants to let Y/N know on what they could possibly do with this matter.

"So did you look at all the information and evidence I gave you?" Y/N asked.

"Yes, but everything depends on Jimin. If he doesn't tell the truth then the evidence you gave me might not be enough."

"I already talked to him. He's on our side. He'll tell the truth. So what do you suggest I do?"

"You told me that you need to act quick right? Well if I were you, I would already go to the police. Take all the evidence with you and that will make them reopen the case. The moment they reopen the case both Jin and Mr. Im will get arrested. I'm guessing it won't take them too long to find more evidence and if Jimin works along, the lawsuit might be soon after that."

"How long do you think they'll get in prison?"

"I'm not sure it depends on the evidence and everything, but it probably will be a long time. They have many crimes, especially Mr. Im. Even if they don't find enough evidence of the murder, they're probably going to find other illegal things that he did so in the end he won't be able to escape all of this."

"So you're saying I should attack now?"

"Yeah in the next few days. The quicker the better, Y/N. Do it before something stops you or before Jimin changes his mind." Sana suggested and Y/N nodded.

"Let me think about it for a day. I'll let you know when I'll go to the police."

"Okay." Sana nodded and  silence followed afterwards.

"Why do you not look happy? I thought this was everything you ever wanted?"

"I'm just worried about Nayeon."

"She'll understand eventually. Don't worry about it too much." Sana patted Y/N's arm.

Nayeon got back home after a long day of working. It's almost 9pm and she's exhausted. She took a shower and changed her clothes before going to Y/N's room.

"Did you eat already?" Y/N asked as she was doing something on her laptop.

"Yeah I did." Nayeon smiled and sat down next to her.

"I don't like that you're the CEO, you come home way too late." Y/N closed her laptop and kissed Nayeon's cheek.

"As a CEO yourself, I'm pretty sure you know how exhausting it is."

"Yes, I know but luckily you have a nice girlfriend that can help you." Y/N asked multiple times if she could help Nayeon, but Nayeon keeps saying no.

"Y/N I already told you, I want to do this on my own."

"Okay, okay. But if you need help don't hesitate to ask me. Okay?" Y/N looked into Nayeon's eyes.

"Okay, love." Nayeon leaned in and captured Y/N's lips for a few seconds. When she pulled away she remembered how Momo told her that Y/N had a meeting with her dad today.

"Y/N have you spoken to my dad ever since I became the CEO?" Nayeon decided to ask her indirectly about it.

"Hm no. Why do you ask?" Y/N lied.

"I don't know, I thought that maybe he spoke to you when you came to the company today."

"No, I haven't seen him." Nayeon feels very disappointed right now. Y/N is obviously lying. Nayeon even asked her dad's secretary if Y/N had a meeting with her father and he said yes. Multiple people have seen Y/N in her father's office but Y/N is lying about it.

"Oh let me take this phone call." Y/N said when her phone rang and left the room.

"What are you hiding from me Chou Y/N?" Nayeon asked herself.

Since Y/N was taking a bit too long with her phone call Nayeon decided to just roam around Y/N's room. Y/N's style is pretty basic and simple but it's still very nice. It has an elegant vibe to it despite it being simple.

She sat at Y/N's desk and suddenly some papers that were sticking out from the drawer caught her eye. Y/N hates when things are messy so Nayeon is surprised that she left the papers like that. So Nayeon wanted to do her a favour and put the papers in it's place, but the moment she looked at the papers she furrowed her eyebrows.

"What is this?" She whispered to herself. There were a lot of articles about her father and brother. Some of them were even from 10 years ago. Why does Y/N have all of this?

"Nayeon-ah?" She heard Y/N yelling and immediately put them away.

"Mom made dinner, do you want to join?" Luckily Y/N didn't see it.

"Sure, I'll be right there." Nayeon smiled weakly and Y/N kissed her forehead before leaving. The moment Y/N left she looked at the articles again. She already had a feeling that there was more going on than just rivalry between Y/N and Jin, but what is going on between Y/N and her father? Why does it feel like Y/N is doing something behind her back?

"Oh unnie can you put this in Chaeyoung's room?" Tzuyu asked when Y/N was about to go downstairs. It's Chaeyoung's necklace that Tzuyu had borrowed.

"Sure." Y/N said and went to Chaeyoung's room. She could barely enter because of how messy it is. The maid used to clean the room every day but it was still messy so Y/N told the maid to not do it anymore. Chaeyoung should learn not to make a mess but seems like she didn't learn her lesson at all.

Y/N sighed and put the necklace on Chaeyoung's night table. Since it's very messy and Y/N can't stand messiness, she picked up the clothes from the floor and put them on the chair. Suddenly something unfamiliar fell and Y/N picked it up to see that it's a small bag of cocaine. Y/N got mad in an instant by seeing it. Y/N knows that Chaeyoung used to do drugs but the younger girl assured Y/N that she stopped doing it. Y/N's condition before taking Chaeyoung in was that she shouldn't bring drugs into the house but Chaeyoung has obviously broken that rule.

"Y/N! Come eat!" She heard her mom yell from downstairs. Y/N took the bag of cocaine and went downstairs angrily.

"Sit here honey." Her mom smiled when she came to the table.

"What the fuck is this?" Y/N asked throwing the bag in front of Chaeyoung. Chaeyoung's eyes widened upon seeing it. Everyone else was confused by seeing Y/N so mad.

"W-where did you get this?"

"I found it in your room. Didn't you tell me that you stopped doing drugs?"

"I-I did, it's just...."

"It's what?!" Y/N yelled startling everyone. Nayeon is quite shocked that Chaeyoung has cocaine in her room but she's even more shocked to hear Y/N raise her voice. Y/N is someone that's very calm so yes it's surprising to hear her yell.

"I asked you multiple times if you're doing drugs and you kept lying to me. Even if you want to do it, do it freaking outside. Do not bring that trash into my house. Do you understand?" Y/N asked in a scary tone.

"I'm sorry, unnie. I was just keeping it for a friend." Chaeyoung looked down and Y/N chuckled.

"Keeping it for a friend? Do you even know what could happen if someone finds that thing here? Don't you know how risky it is to be using that?? Not just you but your entire family and my family will have to face a scandal."

"I know, that's why I normally don't bring it home. It really was the first time, unnie please believe me." Chaeyoung said and Y/N suddenly hit the table.

"I'm sick of you. You never listen, you keep getting yourself in trouble and you keep getting me in trouble as well. You're going to leave this house tomorrow."

"Unnie, don't." Tzuyu said weakly.

"I've given her too many chances but she always screws it up."

"Please unnie, don't do this. I'm very sorry, it won't happen again." Chaeyoung stood up and approached Y/N.

"No Chaeyoung-ah, I'm done. You have no place in this house anymore."

"Y/N you're overreacting." Her father interrupted.

"I'm not. This is a serious matter."

"Still she doesn't have anywhere to go. Do you want her to end up on the streets?"

"I don't care wether she sleeps on the streets, in a hotel, or in her house. I gave her too many chances so don't make me feel like I'm being a bad cousin. I did everything for her to change. I even let her go to art school but here she is doing fucking drugs behind our backs."

"Babe, you're mad right now. Please think this through." Nayeon held Y/N's arm. She can see that Y/N is very upset with this matter.

"She's leaving. End of discussion." Y/N stated and went upstairs.
