Chapter 46

Nayeon just got home and immediately approached Mr. Lee to ask for the recording. Mr. Im asked his secretary to not leave them alone so he stays with them for now.

"Mr. Lee, Jin oppa told me that he gave you a recording."

"Ah yes. Do you need it?"

"Yeah, he told me to listen to it."

"I have it here. Here you go." He handed it to Nayeon.

"Thank you." Nayeon said and went to her room. She's feeling very nervous about listening to it. What even is in this recording? Why does she have such a bad feeling about this? After hesitating for about two minutes she finally decided to play it. On the recording she heard Jin and Y/N's voices. They were arguing and threatening each other and nothing really suspicious was happening until they started talking about her.

"Why two weeks though? Because of Nayeon? You know, I thought you were just using her, but why do I feel like you actually care about her? Don't tell me that you're in love with my little sister?" He laughed.

"I don't fucking care about your sister and I never will. She's just someone that I'm using to bring you and your father down. She's nothing but a tool for me to get what I want."

"W-what?" Nayeon can't believe what she just heard. Y/N just straight up admitted that she's using Nayeon. Nayeon couldn't help but to start crying. Y/N keeps saying that she loves her but her words to Jin say something else.

"I fucking hate you, Chou Y/N. How can you do this to me?" She stood up and started to throw her clothes in anger. She hates to admit but both her brother, father and even Jeongyeon were right about Y/N. Everything Y/N said and has done towards her seemed so sincere so it's very hard for Nayeon to believe that it was all a lie.

"You might have put them in jail and you might have hurt me but I promise you Y/N, you'll never get ImTech." Nayeon didn't hear Y/N say something about ImTech on the recording but when she thinks about everything Y/N has done, she knows that Jin is right. She's after ImTech and it's obvious to her now.

"Fuck you!" Nayeon broke down on her knees and cried heavily. Mrs. Im heard sounds coming from Nayeon's room so she immediately went there to see what's going on.

"Nayeon? What's going on, honey?" She bend down to face Nayeon. "Why are you crying, Nayeon-ah?"

"They were right mom. They were right." She hugged her mother and told her everything that happened. Mrs. Im didn't know that Y/N was the one who filed the complaint until she heard it on the news about an hour ago. The moment she heard it, she knew that Y/N used her daughter.

"She doesn't deserve you. You deserve way better than this." The woman confronted her.

"How could I be so stupid?"

"You love her. It's normal to fall for her lies when you're in love. Besides I believed her as well. She told me that she loves you and I believed her. She's so good at her job that anyone would fall for it. Don't blame yourself." The woman patted her back. Her daughter has been hurt a lot in the past but she has never seen Nayeon like this. It's obvious that Nayeon's love for Y/N is huge.

"Where are you going?" Mrs. Im asked when Nayeon suddenly stood up and gathered her stuff.

"I'm going to confront her."

"Nayeon, don't. It's late and you're not in a good state right now."

"I have to, mom. I won't be able to sleep unless I confront her." Nayeon's eyes only showed hurt so Mrs. Im had no choice but to let Nayeon go.

"The driver will take you." Her mother said and Nayeon nodded. "Don't let her words get to you no matter what she says. The truth is out, don't allow her to lie anymore." She suggested before Nayeon left.

Nayeon's driver drove her to the Chou's house and Nayeon still has the key so she used it to enter the house. The moment she entered she was met with Tzuyu.

"Nayeon unnie? Are you okay?" She can see that Nayeon has been crying.

"Where's your sister?"

"In her room, why?" The younger girl asked but Nayeon didn't answer and immediately went upstairs, storming into Y/N's room.

"Was that Nayeon?" Mrs. Chou asked Tzuyu.

"Yeah, she's crying. I don't think this will end good."

"Nayeon?" Y/N stood up from her chair once she saw Nayeon in her room. "What are you doing here? Have you been crying?" Y/N approached her and was about to hold the girls' cheek but Nayeon slapped her hand away.

"How could you do this?"

"I already explained it to you."

"You told me that you love me, but it was all a fucking lie!" Nayeon hit her girlfriend's chest harshly, which hurt Y/N.

"What are you talking about? Didn't I tell you that I love you? I may have told you many lies but that's not one of them!" Y/N raised her voice.

"Then what the fuck is this, Y/N! What is this?" She threw the recorder to her which Y/N picked up with raised eyebrows.

"What is this?" Y/N asked.

"Play it." Nayeon said crying and Y/N obeyed as she played the recording.

"I don't fucking care about your sister and I never will. She's just someone that I'm using to bring you and your father down. She's nothing but a tool for me to get what I want."

"Fuck." Y/N whispered to herself. She should have known that Jin might have been recording her. Now it seems like Y/N doesn't love Nayeon when in fact it's not true at all. The only reason why she said that was so that Jin wouldn't take advantage of the fact that she loves Nayeon.

"Nayeon-ah..." Y/N is speechless. How can she even explain this to her?

"You know I almost believed you yesterday when you told me that you love me despite doing all this shit. I almost fucking believed you."

"You should believe me, Nayeon-ah. What I said to him is not true! I only said it so that he doesn't take advantage of our relationship. Please believe me." Y/N pleaded with teary eyes.

"Stop it, Y/N. I'm sick of all your lies. How can you be so heartless? I fell in love with you thinking that you're a goodhearted woman but turns out that you're manipulative. You manipulate everyone and everything around you just to get what you want. I can't believe I trusted you."

"That's not true. I didn't manipulate anyone."

"It is true, Y/N. The fact that you're not even seeing it is saddening."

"Please don't cry. I hate to see you like this." Y/N admitted.

"It's your fault that I'm like this! Despite knowing how many times I got hurt, you still did this to me." Nayeon cried further and at this point a tear rolled down Y/N's cheek as well. It's true, she knew what Nayeon went through and how many times she got backstabbed yet she did the same thing to her.

"Your plan is to destroy ImTech right?"

"Wh-what?"Y/N was taken aback by that question. How does she even know?

"Tell me the truth, Y/N. Please for once tell me the truth! Was or is it in your plan to destroy ImTech? Did you make me the CEO of ImTech to make it easier for you to destroy it?" Nayeon asked and Y/N nodded in hesitance. There's no point in lying anymore, lying will only make it worse.

"I can't believe he was right." Nayeon broke down on her knees and Y/N immediately kneeled down, holding Nayeon in her arms. Nayeon doesn't even have the energy to push her away.

"It was my original plan but believe me it changed once I fell in love with you." After becoming girlfriends with Nayeon, Y/N was satisfied with just putting them into jail and leaving ImTech to Nayeon. But who's going to believe her now? Everyone knows that Y/N wanted ImTech gone. No matter what she says, all signs point to her wanting to destroy ImTech.

"That doesn't change anything!" Nayeon finally pushed Y/N away from her. "What if you hadn't fallen in love with me? Then you would have continued with your plan and played with my feelings. Don't you realize how fucked up this is? You can't just hurt someone who's innocent to get what you want!" Nayeon yelled.

"Y-you're right." Y/N said weakly.

"Am I that stupid and weak that you thought making me the CEO would be easier to destroy the company?" Nayeon's self esteem is crushed right now. Y/N kept telling her that she would be a good CEO but turns out Y/N only wanted her as the CEO because she saw her as someone who wouldn't be able to lead the company well.

"No, of course not. You're not weak or stupid, Nayeon-ah. I didn't even know you back then. I thought you wouldn't be able to lead the company at first, but I don't think that anymore."

"It doesn't even matter what you think right now." Nayeon stood up wiping her tears and so did Y/N.

"Nayeon, please don't do this."

"We're over Y/N. I never want to see you again." Nayeon broke up with her and Y/N felt her heart break into pieces. She has never experienced heartbreak before so she didn't know how it would be like. She never expected that she would be this affected by Nayeon breaking up with her. She thought that she would be fine but why is her heart hurting?

"You're really breaking up with me?"

"You gave me no choice, Y/N. I don't trust you at all. Do you even know how in love with you I am? I've never fallen so hard for someone. I thought we were perfect for each other, I even saw a fucking future with you and I was ready to risk everything just for you. Why did you have to crush my dreams, huh? Tell me why?!" Nayeon's tears kept falling as she pushed Y/N by her chest.

"Because I'm an asshole." Y/N looked down as tears rolled down from her face as well.

"Whatever you do, I won't let you destroy my company, Chou Y/N. ImTech is mine now and there's no way you'll succeed in destroying it. You've already caused me and my family enough harm. At least leave ImTech alone." Nayeon said and started to walk away but turned around to say one last thing.

"Oh and if you still decide to go after the only thing that I have left right now, you'll gain yourself a new enemy. Also take this, I don't need it anymore." She warned and threw the bracelet that Y/N gave her as a gift at her before leaving the room. The moment Nayeon left, Y/N let it all out. Of course if she knew that she was going to fall for Nayeon, she wouldn't have done any of this but that's the thing, she didn't know. She never knew that Nayeon was going to become so important to her and when she did become, it was too late to change the plan because even if she did, it wouldn't have changed the fact that Y/N used Nayeon in the beginning.

The next morning Nayeon went to the police station to visit her dad. She needs to talk to him about the company and how things will continue from here on.

"Ms. Im, what can you say about your family killing Chou Y/N's birth mother?"One of the reporters asked as she was trying to get in. Reporters are even more around now ever since Y/N made that statement.

"Please leave me alone. I have nothing to say." Nayeon said and luckily Mr. Lee led her inside safely.

"Can I speak to my father, please?"

"We don't allow any visitors, Ms." The police guy said.

"Nayeon-ssi?" Mr. Sook, her father's lawyer, showed up.

"Oh Mr. Sook, can I visit my dad? I need to speak to him." Nayeon said and luckily the man managed to get her in. He's a known, powerful lawyer so he gets what he asks for.

"Nayeon?" Her father was surprised to see his daughter in front of him.

"How are you doing?"

"Not good as you can see." The man chuckled. He thought that Nayeon would be here to laugh at him, but why does she look unhappy? "Are you okay? Why don't you look happy?"

"I'm not like you or Jin. Seeing you in these circumstances doesn't make me happy no matter how much you've abused me."

"I always knew you had a good heart, but you realize that that good heart of yours got us here right?"

"It's not my good heart but YOUR cruelness that got you here, so stop blaming me. Why did you have to kill those people? I knew you were a bad guy, but I never thought that you would be capable of murdering someone." Nayeon hates looking at her father right now.

"Who said I killed them?" This guy really keeps denying everything.

"Dad stop. No matter how much you deny, you can't get out of this. Even Mr. Sook can't seem to save you or Jin. Besides I know everything now." She said weakly.

"Everything? What do you mean?"

"How you were supposed to kill Y/N but ended up killing Mrs. and Mr. Park and why you wanted to kill them. Just everything."

"So you finally found out that Chou Y/N has been using you all this time, huh?" He laughed. How can he laugh in a situation like this? "Now I get why you don't look happy. I was almost about to think that you were sad for me but turns out the reason behind that sadness is Chou Y/N."

"You were right. Go ahead, rub it in my face like the great father you are."

"I guess you really love her since you're so affected by it. She really managed to deceive you but that's what you get when you're stupid, Nayeon-ah." He raised his eyebrows.

"I'm stupid, huh? Don't act like you didn't get deceived by her either, dad. Look where she got you. I guess you're stupid as well since she managed to trick you and put you somewhere you deserve to be." Nayeon fired back and he kept silent. This man is really acting like Nayeon was the only one that got deceived by Y/N.

"Why are you really here, Nayeon-ah? I know you wouldn't come just to see me."

"I know Y/N is after ImTech, oppa told me. I'm here to ask you what I should do, to protect it." She said in embarrassment and her father smiled upon hearing that. Nayeon hates how she has to ask him for help. Y/N is too powerful and she can't handle her on her own. Y/N did tell her that she's not planning to destroy ImTech anymore, but Nayeon cannot believe her.

"This is funny. You literally backstabbed your own family and now you're asking for my help?"

"I wouldn't have had to backstab you if you had treated me as your fucking daughter." Nayeon is starting to get annoyed but she knew that he was going to react this way.

"You disappointed me a lot. You were about to give up everything just for that girl. Do you realize how stupid that is?"

"I didn't do this for Y/N. All I wanted was to become the CEO. Even if Y/N hadn't helped me, I still would have backstabbed you, so don't think that I'm stupid for falling for Y/N because she is not related to my will of becoming a CEO."

"Okay, okay if you say so. I'm guessing you feel some hate towards Y/N now since you're suddenly asking me for help against her, huh?" Even after all of this, Nayeon can't hate her ex-girlfriend. She feels a lot of anger yes and she wants to feel hate, but she can't. Not yet.

"Just tell me what to do. It's your company, you should want for me to protect it. You realize that I'm the only one that can save ImTech when you go to jail right?"

"Of course I know that. Once I go to jail, all my shares will be yours. Meaning you and Y/N will have equally as much rights in the company. The only way you can protect ImTech is by getting her shares." Mr. Im had already planned to get his shares back, but like always Y/N was one step ahead of him.

"How am I going to do that?"

"I have no idea. It won't be easy. But maybe if she cares about you even just a little bit, you might be able to convince her to sell them to you."

"So you're saying I should convince her?"

"Yes. If that doesn't work then you need to play it dirty, just like her." The man suggested to which Nayeon nodded.

"Ms. Im, you need to leave. Visiting time is over." One of the officers said and Nayeon stood up and glanced at her father before walking away.

The Chou family are at the table having dinner and everyone is keeping quiet. No one dares to talk because Y/N is looking pretty scary right now.

"Y/N unnie?" Chaeyoung spoke up and everyone looked up at her including Y/N.

"Can Mina come later on? We want to hang out."

"No." Y/N said simply and continued to eat.

"Why? You said that she could come here." Chaeyoung asked in disappointment.

"I changed my mind."

"That's not fair." Chaeyoung feels a bit annoyed with Y/N right now.

"Then what is fair, Chaeyoung-ah? You doing drugs? You causing trouble? It's all not fair to me either is it? You're lucky that I didn't throw you out."

"Thanks to Nayeon unnie." Tzuyu said and Y/N suddenly looked at her. More like glared.

"I don't want to hear her name in this house again. Do you all understand?"

"What happened when she came yesterday? Did you two fight?" Mr. Chou asked. Y/N seems angry but the man knows his daughter well. Something is bothering her.

"We broke up." Y/N looked down. Now they all understand why Y/N is being a bitch.

"Yes, you all warned me I know. I did this knowing that she was going to break up with me so no need to remind me." Y/N said and stood up leaving the table.

"Is she always going to be like this? I thought she was going to be happy now that her enemies are finally going to jail." Tzuyu sighed.

"That's what she thought. If Nayeon wasn't in the picture she would have been happy right now, but she can't be because she loves that girl a lot." Mrs. Chou said weakly. Y/N didn't even come to apologize to her and she's feeling hurt by her daughter's actions. Hopefully Y/N will get over this soon and start acting normal again.

Y/N went to her room after she left the table and sat on her bed. Her heart is really breaking. She now realizes how much she actually loves Nayeon. The way Nayeon cried and threw her bracelet at Y/N made Y/N see that she hurt Nayeon a lot. She wants Nayeon badly but she knows that right now isn't the right moment to talk to the woman. Y/N needs to give her time and fight for her later on.

"I'm sorry Nayeon-ah. I hope you can forgive me in the future." She looked at the bracelet that she gave Nayeon. Y/N is not the type of girl to fall in love easily so she knows very well that it's either Nayeon or no one.
