It was night, Aashi was having dinner with her dad on the huge lavish dining table in their home. She was quietly having her dinner, while her father was going on looking at her. Mr Triparty: Shamlal(the house servant) was telling me that these days you are hardly at home. I even gave a call at the institute...they told me that you haven't visited the institute for the past 1 week...so if you are not at home and not at the institute....then where do you go? Aashi: I had some other work dad. Mr Triparty: What other work have you got these days? You used to tell me that the institute is your life...and you shall never neglect it...so what happened now? What more important work have you got that you have not even visited your own institute? Aashi: Dad, I have not forgotten my institute...helping people through my institute is my biggest aim in life...and I shall never forget it. Yes, I have not visited the institute for the last 1 week, but that doesn't mean that I have forgotten it...I have been in touch with all the staff at the institute...they give me every update about the things that are happening over there. The people whom I help through my institute...they are like a family to me...and I never forget my family no matter how busy I remain in other works...I am not like you dad. Mr Triparty: Aashi! You are talking too much (Mr. Triparty replied in anger) Aashi: What wrong did I say dad? You are so busy with your business that you don't even have time for your own daughter. I might not be there at home throughout the day...but you remain outside for months....you are always traveling to places regarding your business. Mr Triparty: Uff, I am tired of you complaining about this all the time....don't you ever have any other topic to discuss? Aashi: Yes dad...I do have a lot more topics...I feel like sharing everything with you that goes on in my day-to-day life...but you are never around to hear my talks...you are always busy in your business. Mr Triparty: Well really Aashi, Talking to you is like a waste of time. Aashi: You're right dad...so go and make use of your precious time in growing your business (saying this, Aashi got up from her table) Mr Trparty: Now what happened? Why have you got up from the table? Aashi: My hunger is gone after hearing your talks (saying this, Aashi left the room with frustration) Aashi went to the apartment to meet Aditya. After going there, she spent a lot of quality time with him. She layed on the bed, hugging him tight. Her head was resting on his chest, and her eyes were closed with a smile on her face.Aashi: Your presence always gives me so much of peace...I forget every tension of mine whenever I am with you. Aditya smiles hearing Aashi's words...but there was something else that was going on in Adityas mind. Aditya: Aashi, there is a thought that has been coming up in my mind for a very long time. Aditya kept her aside and got up from the bed, walking towards the gallery of the apartment. Aashi realized that Aditya looked a bit worried. She too got up and walked towards him, placing her hand on his shoulder.Aashi: What's the matter Aditya? You look tense (Aashi questioned with concern) Aditya: I was thinking about our future, Aashi. Aashi: What about our future? We're going to get married and live happily ever after with each other. Aditya: Even I want to live my entire life with you Aashi...but what about your dad? Will he ever accept my relationship with you? Aashi: Why won't he? You are a good man who loves me truly from the heart...so why won't he accept you? Aditya: It's not about how good I am...it's about what my status holds in front of your status. I am just a common man Aashi. You are the daughter of Mr. Triparty...one of the richest persons in this town...besides that...you are running your own institute, and look at me, what do I have? Nothing. I don't even have a job (Aditya replied with a tensed face) Aashi: So what Aditya? You don't have a job now, then that doesn't mean you will never get a job. And by the way, you are not born to work under someone, you are born to create something of your own...your paintings. You are born to be a painter. I can clearly see your future in art. Soon your paintings will get displayed in Mrs Dutta's art gallery...and then, you will get the recognition you deserve. Aditya: But still Aashi...I won't be able to match my level to your father's status. Sometimes...sometimes I even get the fear that what if...what if I am not able to achieve anything in my life...and due to that, if you end up leaving me....I won't be able to survive. Aashi was taken aback by Adityas doubts. Aashi: How dare you even say something like that Aditya? I am not a girl like Sakshi who cheated on you and left you in your bad times. I love you truly from my heart...and when we love someone truly, we don't leave that person in their bad times, instead, we hold their hand and remain their strength. I want to be with you not just in your good times ...but also in your bad times. in your journey of achieving something in life...i want remain being your pillar and your support. whatever you are about to go through in your life ...let me also go through it...after all, that is what a true life partner does. Heating Aashi's reply, Aditya was moved by her words, his eyes were filled with gratitude. Aditya: you know Aashi, now I have truly started believing in the saying, that WHATEVER HAPPENS, IT HAPPENS FOR GOOD. when Sakshi cheated on me, I felt so much hurt and unlucky. I thought that true love is not written in my life. but little did I know that God was planning to bring the most kind hearted person in my life, and that person is you. if Sakshi hadn't cheated on me, I would have never attempted suicide, and if I hadn't tried to take my own life...I would have never met you. first I use to think that God didn't care for me, but all along, he was busy in bringing you in my life. and now as you are finally in my life...I feel as if am the luckiest person in this world. hearing Adityas reply, Aashi was all overwhelmed with emotions, she planted a passionate kiss on Adityas lips. he responded with equal passion, and they held eachother tightly as they kissed. however, in the midst of their passionate moment, Adityas desire for more intimacy became evident as he tried to explore further, his hands began to wander giving a sign to Aashi that he wanted to do more then just a kiss. sensing his intentions, Aashi stopped his hands, ending the kiss. Aashi: what are you up to ha? (Aashi questioned mischiviously) hearing Aashi's question, Aditya chuckled playfully. Aditya: ah nothing...actually the way you started kissing me with all that passion, I thought you gave me the permission to take things forward. (Aditya replied with a smile) Aashi: hmmmm...these days you have started to think a lot huh? don't think much...the things that you want to do...there's plenty of time for that...let days pass by, I'll let you know when am ready for it...(Aashi replied with a mischivuous smile) Adityas eyes twinkled with anticipation...Aditya: as you say my Angel...am not in a hurry...but I'll eagerly wait for that moment to arrive. Aashi blushed hearing Adityas reply...she tried to change the topic...Aashi: now come on...i have come to meet you yaar...be a gentelman and offer me something. Aditya: well there was a lot that I wanted to offer...but you rejected it, saying the right time has not yet come (Aditya replied jokingly) Hearing Adityas reply...Aashi blushed and playfully slapped on his chest. Aashi: these days you have started to become very naughty ha...keep in mind...I really don't like naughty boys...now come on, be a good boy, go into the kitchen and get something to eat...am hungry. (Aashi replied with a mischivuous smile) Aditya: ok...ok ma'am..as you say. As Aditya turned to go to the kitchen...Aashi called out his name...Aashi: acha Aditya...listen...Aditya turned towards her. Aditya: yes Aashi...tell me Aashi didn't say a word...carrying a smile on her face...she came closer to him and gave a smooch on his lips. After the sweet gesture she whispered "I love you" by looking deep into his eyes. Aditya too smiled back and replied "I love you too" with that, he headed towards the kitchen, eager to fulfil Aashi's request. to be continued in next chapter
