You Should Know (BWWM) ✅

ELOWEN

*mature content ahead*

Spencer stood in the doorway as Elowen made her bed for the third time this morning. Something about it just didn't look right and she didn't know what. So she had Spencer be her guide which meant she told her what to do for this time only. Spencer felt in control for ten minutes.

"This'll have to do. Now get out. I'll be in there to make porridge in about ten minutes."

Instead of listening, Spencer took a seat on her bed. The little girl gave her a wide smile before tucking her hands on her lap. Elowen knew she was going to tell her something that she should know.

"Henry told mama that you was on the phone talking to that boy past ten o'clock. She told me to keep an eye on you."

Elowen groaned before yanking her off the bed by her arm. Spencer let out a fake cry which didn't stop her older sister from dragging her out the room. "I'd be a ditz to listen to someone like you. Now go wait in the kitchen or I'll make you eat dirt." Elowen slammed her door shut before Spencer could fight her way back through.

With her siblings cracking deeper into her case, having Philip over seemed to be the worst idea. But she continued to straighten her room and flatten her dress despite it all.

Twenty minutes later and she successfully talked the kids out of the house. They went to a friends house nearby and Elowen made sure she watched them disappear down the street side by side. With one last smile, she turned to skip to her front porch.

"Elowen!" Someone whispered from the wooden railing beside her. She turned in surprise as Philip jumped over the fence and on to her porch. "I took this path to the back and for a minute I was lost but the colors of your house looked familiar."

"Who cares, get inside before my neighbors see you." She dragged him through the door in a rush. He fixed his v-neck sweater as he took in the atmosphere of her living room.

Everything was small compared to his home. She had a small tv and a three seater couch in front of a homemade coffee table. There was old newspaper in a bin near the kitchen. Her kitchen was also rusty. From the yellow counters to the wooden cabinets, everything seemed to amaze him.

"So you gonna show it off?" He asked once the current view got boring to him. "Like the bathroom in case I gotta go or your room in case... I don't."

Something in Elowen's chest felt light. As if she was given some sort of drug that lifted her off her feet. She's never had a boy in her room. Not even Marcus and he used to come over every weekend just to sit on the couch.

"My rooms in the back," she pointed with a flustered expression. They started down the hall but before she allowed him into her personal space, she stopped in front of the restroom. "In case you gotta go," she smiled.

Philip lightly pushed her forward into the room he assumed was hers. Elowen's shaky hand rested on the copper doorknob before twisting to open it.

"Wow," he gasped when he saw her closet overflowing with clothes that has been handed down from cousin to cousin. She was never a fan of giving things away but her mom already made her promise she'd leave clothes for Spencer. "You sleep in here? The bed looks so uncomfortable."

He sat down on her floral-patterned blanket and the bed creaked a bit which made him chuckle. Before he could get comfortable in one place he was up at her vanity. It was white but the paint chipped and the mirror was clouded with film and photos. What caught his eye was the collection of candles before him.

"Which one's your favorite?" He asked Elowen who was staring at his reflection through the mirror. He stared back at her with a face that showed he was more excited than he was disappointed in her living.

"Huh?" She jumped when realizing he was talking to her.

"The candles. Which one is your favorite scent! I want to light it." Elowen walked over to the vanity and picked up a light blue candle that smelled like ocean water. "Why is it your favorite?" He asked while picking up a box of matches right next to her rested hand.

She wasn't sure if she should tell him but she knew there was no point in lying to him.

"It was a gift my daddy gave my mama when she was pregnant. She told me he had this strong feeling that I was going to be a boy so he gave her this to smell before I was born. Guess he was wrong."

"Did he think a candle would affect you being born with a dick?" Elowen shrugged. "Luckily it don't. It'd be weird falling for you like I think I am." He looked over at her then sighed. "Thinking about you a lot more than I should, Elowen. And it wasn't supposed to be this way. I just was a bit jealous of you is all. Doing your homework like you're gonna be great things." His eyes refused to meet hers. "Can I be honest with you?"

"Now is a better time than never," she frowned.

"I wanted to throw you off. Make you a bad girl. But when I saw you shaking that night and scared... I felt like a skuzz." He stepped away from her to go back on the bed. The candle still in his hand. "Y'know Cindy?" Elowen shook her head. "My ex girl, we dated freshman year. She was all nice and pure. I don't know what happen one summer. She broke my heart and turned dark. now she's best friends with Kaitlyn and I hate that bitch."

Elowen sat down next to him and took the matches from his hand. She's never lit this specific candle, but if Philip seems so attached to it. She figured she should give him a good smell from it.

"Why are tellin' me this?" She lit the candle and set it on her nightstand.

"Well 'cause anyone can tell you I'm a bad guy. That I do things to them that make them mad but I want you to hear it from me first. I want you to know that it ain't my fault my friends are the way they are. They just changed on me. They left me behind. Joey too. You think he been wearing leather jackets? We used to go to the mall and wear each other's clothes and I would never wear those."

He turned away from Elowen when he started sniffling. But she lightly grabbed his chin and forced her to face him again. "You meant it when you said you think you're fallin' for me?" Philip nodded painfully slow. "That you can't stop thinking about me?" He smiled. "That you'd.... protect me?"

"Y'know I'm not in love with lying."

Elowen stared deeply into his dark grey eyes and he got lost in her brown ones. She knew he was telling the truth and it made everything all the more sensible. Being this close to him made her stomach drop like she was on a roller coaster and going downwards. When Philip's hand tightened on the covers momentarily she knew he felt the same.

Unable to contain himself any longer, Philip takes Elowen's head into his hands and pulls her in for a passionate kiss that left her body feeling like a tingling mess. Things she's never felt before began to surface to the top in an intense rage of desire.

Philip pulled away and they made eye contact as if assuring each other no mistakes were made. The next time their lips touched it was with more force as if they were fighting to morph their lips into one. Philip's hand rested on Elowen's waist while her hands played in his hair.

He gripped onto every curve that she would allow until the point her dress was hiked up to her waist and her pink cotton underwear was in full display. Philip looked at the work he's done of barely undressing her. Then he placed his warm lips onto her neck causing her to gasp.

Elowen kicked a leg over his lap when his hands trailed up her thighs to in between her legs. In the back of her mind, she was trying to figure out how she could possibly go through with this when she's never done anything as remotely close to what's she's doing now.

Just when she was ready to pull away, her eyes rolled to the back of her head at the feeling of his finger working inside her. Elowen moaned for the first time in actual pleasure.

Philip removed a strap from her dress then her bra and began massaging an exposed breast. Both of Elowen arms held her up from behind her while Philip's hand gestures brought her on trips across the world.

When he removed his hand, she relaxed her arched back and immediately missed what he has taken from her. Philip then snaked his hand behind her neck and pulled her in for another kiss.

"Lay down," he demanded. His voice was suddenly deep and it made Elowen follow orders without thinking about it. "I'm gonna make you feel good, alright."

Elowen nodded as she watched him slide her underwear off her body. His head was below her waist and she anxiously wondered what he was going to do next.

Leaving kisses anywhere he could, his lips rested on her core and she sucked in a sharp breath. Despite the immense feeling of pure bliss, she couldn't do anything but remember that he's had to have done this before.

She thought about Cindy, his ex that turned "dark" in her soul. Elowen feared that love turned people into the opposite of themselves. More specifically, love with Philip.

While she was lost in her thoughts, a strange feeling began to arise in her lower stomach. Her body was suddenly out of her control and for a moment she felt like she could lift a car and the next as if she was birthing flowers. Her body shook and her lungs were restricted of oxygen until it was all over. The intense feeling subsided and she was now looking at philip who hovered over her with a proud look on his face.

"What was that?" She heaved as he wiped a drop of sweat from her forehead.

"That was us, Elo. Meshing and other crap. If it felt good then I wanna do it more." Elowen nodded. "It felt good?" She smiled as her joy escaped from her eyes.

"It felt good, Philip."

He began to leave ten minutes later after kissing more and cuddling. Elowen didn't want him to leave, ever, but she knew her brother and sister could only play outside for so long.

"Are you gonna be thinking about me, Elo? 'cause I'm gonna be thinking about you."
