"Let's have dinner. I miss the food made by you.", he said.
I smiled at him.
I love it when he compliments me!
"Sure. What would you like to have?", I asked him.
"Anything that is simple to make, as you seem tired.", he said.
I went to kitchen and saw that not many food items were available except for veggies.
I finally made rice, beans and Venagrete for us.
I served the food on the table and he immediately attacked on it.
Then he looked at me and gave a smile.
"Sorry. I didn't wait for you. Come fast! I am hungry.", he said.
"You are always hungry!", I sulked at him.
His expression turned dark.
"Yeah I am always hungry whenever I am with you.", he said in a husky voice.
It took me a second to realize that he was not referring to the hunger I was talking about.
I avoided looking at him and silently had my food.
As soon as we finished eating, Luiz snatched the plate from my hand and rushed to kitchen.
What is he doing?
"Bring the other dishes on the table.", he said.
I did what he said.
By the time I brought the other dishes in the kitchen, I was shocked to see that Luiz was washing vessels.
"Luiz, what the hell are you doing? Move I shall do it.", I went and tried to snatch the plate he was washing.
"Go do your work.", he said.
"Please! You are not used to all this.", I said.
"Who said? Mom gave me training even in this.", he said.
"What?", I said hanging my mouth open.
Then we both laughed together.
Caroline indeed is a great mother!
"Besides, it is not always necessary for women to do all this work. I let you cook inspite of you being busy because I was missing the dinner made by you. But not this.", he said.
My heart melted.
He respects women so much.
After doing dishes, I thought he would leave, but he didn't.
Maybe he will leave a while later.
Later, when I was working. I realized it was late at night and I had to sleep.
But I was wondering when he will leave.
He was sitting on the other side of bed reading something in his mobile.
"Umm Luiz, its late.", I said, indicating him to leave.
"Sure. Lets sleep.", he said.
My eyes grew bigger in shock.
I searched for a hint of humour in his face. But he was actually serious.
"But no. You can't sleep over here with me.", I said.
"Why?", he asked frowning at me.
"Because grandmom is not at home.", I told.
I am sure I sounded like a stupid.
"That is the reason why I am here with you.", he said.
"Where will you sleep?", I asked.
I looked around for some space for him to sleep.
"Here.", he said pointing towards my bed.
"No.", I said.
No, we can't sleep together. Besides, my bed is not that big.
"I don't get it. Why are you behaving so wierd? As if, we never slept on the same bed before.", he said.
"It was different that time.", I said.
He chuckled.
"Oh well, If that is what you are worried about, you can be assured I won't do anything.", he said.
"The bed is small.", I said.
"It will be enough for both of us. We don't have our third family member yet.", he said and winked at me.
"Luiz!", I threw a pillow on him.
I felt shy!
He came to sleep next to me.
I turned to the other side.
I felt some tension in the atmosphere.
I felt a hand around my waist.
I jolted suddenly.
"Luiz, what are you doing?", I asked.
"Relax. I am just holding and sleeping you.", he said.
He came near me and enveloped my body into his.
It sent butterflies to the pit of my stomach. But I never dared to turn back.
Slowly, I drifted back to sleep in his arms.
Next day, I woke up and searched for Luiz.
I saw the time.
"Oh no. Its seven in the morning.", I said to myself and quickly got up from the bed.
I went to the dining room to check if he was there.
To my surprise, he was sitting on one of the dining chairs with his laptop on the dining table.
He wore his formal dress.
He looked so fresh!
But wait! Where did he get his clothes from?
He was engrossed in his work and he didn't even notice my presence.
"How come you got your clothes here?", I asked him.
"My driver brought it.", he said and resumed his work.
"Its seven o'clock. Get ready.", he said.
I was ready in another thirty minutes and we decided to have breakfast outside.
Then, we went to office for work.
A week passed by and we had to go to Germany.
This is going to be my first project. I was nervous! Of course, I have Luiz and Caroline to support me. But I hope I will perform well without depending much on them. I have to prove my ability too.
Already people think that I got to this position because of Luiz, which is not wrong.
But from here I have to manage it myself.
Caroline and Luiz entered the room together.
They were having some argument about a project which I didn't know.
They spoke for some more time and they settled the matter.
Then they both looked at me.
"We have to go to Germany in two days mom.", Luiz said, looking back to Caroline.
"Yeah. We shall include our HR manager, one representative from our interiors department and one representative from finance team.", Caroline said.
"We can take Mr. Manoel, Mr. Aleixo and Maryam along with us.", he said.
"That should be fine.", Caroline said.
