When Mrs. Matthews and Tiff brought me upstairs, I had no idea what they were going to do to me. I however, soon found out about the Matthews' pampering. I was taken to this big bathroom, which had a tub that was full of bubbles. Once I was stripped and put into the tub, I learned that the tub had jets in it. I don't know how long I just sat in the tub enjoying the feeling of the water swirling around me, until there was a knock on the door.
"Melissa can I come in?"
"Yeah."
Slowly sinking down in the tub until the water was up to my chin, I glanced as Tiff came in the bathroom. She came with a towel over her shoulder, and she smirked closing the door behind her.
"I'm going to be the one who does your hair."
"Um... ok."
Walking through the bathroom, she got the shampoo, and walked back toward me.
"Sit up for me."
Slowly sitting up, I could feel my cheeks turning red.
"Don't be shy, we're both girls here."
She soon squirted the shampoo on my hair, and started massaging it. Leaning back, I closed my eyes for a moment, before rinsing it out. After my hair was washed, I got out the tub, and dried off putting the matching white underclothes on. Wrapping the towel around me, I peeked out the door, and Tiff was sitting on the bed. Smiling, she stood up motioning me to come out. Walking over to her, she put me in a chair, and started doing my hair.
Once Tiff had finished doing my hair, which looked pretty amazing. She straightened it, before giving me a side braid that went around, and tied it with a white ribbon. Mrs. Matthews then came back, and gave me a smile. Holding out a bag, I gripped my towel, before reaching for it, and looking inside. It was a dress and a pair of flats. Taking the dress out, I stared at it for a moment. It was a white strapless dress with a black ribbon around the middle. Slowly lifting my head, I stared at Mrs. Matthews in shock.
"This must have cost so much."
"Oh honey don't worry about the price, now go try it on."
She folded her arms, and I knew that there was no way she was going to take no for an answer. Walking back in the bathroom, I dropped the towel, before slipping the dress on. Staring at myself in the mirror, I have to say I look pretty. The dress stops right over my knees, and I slipped on the little black flats. Taking a breath, I went out of the bathroom, and stared at them in weary.
"So what do you think?"
Both of their eyes widen for a moment, before Mrs. Matthews smiled coming over, and taking my hands.
"You look so beautiful, Melissa."
"Really?"
"Yes."
Looking at Tiff, she smiled nodding her head. I could feel my cheeks turning red, when there was a knock on the door.
"How much longer are you going to keep her?"
"Hold your horses Zach."
I could hear a groan from behind the door, before footsteps were heard leaving the door.
"I guess that's our cue to go Mom."
"I guess your right."
She let my hands go, before turning, and walking to the door.
"Now Melissa, I want you to count to ten, and then come down."
Cocking my head confused, she gave me a smile, and I nodded my head. Slowly walking to the bed, and sat down.

Taking a deep breath, I stood back up, and went out the door. Walking to the steps, I stopped staring down at the Zach. He was standing on the last step, and I smiled at him. His eyes had widen staring at me, and I rubbed my arm shyly.
Slowly walking down the step to him, he smiled holding out his hand. Reaching, I grabbed it tightly, and we both were standing face to face. I didn't make eye contact though, too embarrassed. He however was having none of that, as he lifted my chin up so I was staring into his eyes. His eyes, which looked like they were bluer than normal, and I gave him a little smile.
"How do I look?"
He took a step back looking at me up, and down, before smirking. He then leaned down so his lips were to my ear.
"You look good enough to eat."
He nipped my ear, before pulling away. A shiver went through me as my cheeks turned a deep red.
"Well shall we go?"
"Go where?"
"To the other room, duh."
Rolling my eyes at him, he held my hand, and pulled me to through the hallway. Walking in the other room, I smelt something sweet. He then stopped moving around me, and covered my eyes.
"Hey."
"Relax, and keep walking forward."
"Um...Ok."
Walking forward, I wonder what Zach was planning. I heard a door open, and I could feel that we were outside. Lifting my hands, I touched Zach's arm.
"Can I look?"
"On three."
"Ok."

His hands then disappeared, and my eyes widen.Looking around, we were in the backyard of Zach's house. There were streamers hanging everywhere. There was a picnic table with balloons tied to it. Everything was just wonderful.
Surprise!!
Everyone yelled jumping out, and I jerked back in surprise and just stared. There was Mrs. Matthews, Tiffany, William, Catherine, Derek, Terrell, and even Marie. I must have made some kind of face, because they started laughing. A arm wrapped around my waist, and I stared at Zach. He was glancing around like he was looking for something, before glancing at me smiling.
"Was you surprised?"
" Yeah, did you plan all of this."
"Um... yeah."
He rubbed the back of his neck, before looking away. Giving him a squeeze, we walked down toward everyone.
I was sitting at the picnic table just watching everyone. Terrell and Derek was on the grill, Mrs. Matthew was talking to Tiffany and William, and Catherine and Zach were talking off to the side. Hmm, I wonder what that is about, and Marie then plopped down beside me, and gave me a smile.
"Are you having a good time?"
"Yeah, I am."
"Good."
It was quiet between us for a moment, before she turned to me.
"So what did you get for your birthday?"
"I got a locket from my father, a card from Terrell, and this dress from Zach's mother and sister."
"Oh I see. The dress is really pretty too."
"Thanks."
I soon noticed that Zach was coming over toward us, and I stood up. He smiled wrapping his arm around my waist. I gave him a hug, and he started leading me away to around the house, before stopping. My eyes then widen when I saw Aunt Cali and Dad coming around the corner. A squeal fell from my lips, and I ran over toward them. Â Dad caught me in a big hug, before I let go of him excited.
"What about work?"
"I got off."
"How did you?"
"Zach planned it all."
Turning back, I glanced at Zach, and he gave me a smile. We walked back over to him, and Dad and Aunt Cali walked toward everyone. Stopping Zach, I pulled him around the corner for a moment, and he raised an eyebrow.
"Zach... I don't know what to say."
"Don't say anything, just have fun."
Smiling, I moved my arms wrapping them around his neck. Pulling him down some, I pressed my lips to his softly. The kiss was sweet, and when he pulled away, he pressed a kiss to my forehead.
"Come on, let the party start."
Taking his hand, we walked around the corner toward everyone.
