Aria couldn’t sense Lilac’s scent, because the pain that she had to endure was very great, she couldn’t even feel the tip of her fingers.

Hunter was right when he told her she wouldn’t get anything from this meeting and seeing Aria like this would make her felt even worse. He was right about that and she couldn’t deny the heavy feeling that settled in her chest to see Aria’s condition.
