Shirley leaned in closer, resting against Robin like a contented cat. She hadn’t spent much time with him lately and longed to be near him.

If they were alone, she would have thrown herself into his arms without hesitation, just to feel his embrace.

Seeing her so absorbed, Robin suddenly felt the urge to tease her. He reached out and gently pinched her soft, flushed cheek.

Startled out of her thoughts, Shirley gasped as her face turned an even deeper shade of red.

She glanced around quickly and let out a sigh of relief when she confirmed that no one in the back row had noticed.

Shirley shot Robin a furious look, but he only responded with a smile.

Once he had avenged everyone responsible for the Dragon Manor massacre, he planned to take Shirley, Joanna, and the rest of his loved ones to Qacalisle Island.

As they settled into their private room, a news broadcast playing on the wall–mounted television caught their attention.
