Livianaâs POV
âAlpha, heâs on the move nowâ Edmond mind linked me as I was still in class.
âOkay. Do as we plannedâ I replied to him.
About after 5 minutes, a teacher burst into my classroom and talked to my current professor.
They whispered to one another but my wolf hearing still picked it up.
The teacher told my professor that I needed to be excused for a family emergency.
My professor glanced at me then nodded.
The teacher then proceeded to thank him and motioned me to come with him so I did.
We went out of the classroom and made our way out of the school.
The teacher from earlier lowered his head at me.
âBe safe, Alphaâ he said and I gave him an acknowledging nod and he went in.
I went to my motorbike and put on my helmet then I drove off.
I knew that there was a big possibility that the attack was going to happen while I was still at school.
It wouldâve been the perfect timing for them to attack a pack without the Alpha.
Figures.
Itâs been a few days since our meeting was held and this would be the first rogue attack that will happen after the meeting with the others.
Weâve kept close watch on everyone both for their safety and out of suspicion but only one person was bold enough to try to betray the pack like this.
Itâs unfortunate.
But Iâve done everything I can to provide for everyone in the pack and that one person still isnât contented.
I sped up.
I arrived at the pack territory almost immediately and a guard came to me as I parked my motorbike by the gate.
âAlpha, theyâre moving south nowâ the guard informed me and I nodded at him then gave him my keys as I got down my bike.
âBe extra alertâ I reminded him and he nodded.
âYes, Alphaâ the guard said and I start to walk away, picked up my pace and shifted to my wolf immediately.
I headed south and reached out to Edmond.
âWhere are you now? Tell me your exact locationâ I mind linked him.
âWeâre almost at the pack border to the south. Weâre on his tail but we all have our scents maskedâ he replied.
âGood. Iâll be there soon. Donât get hurtâ I replied.
âYes, Alphaâ he replied again and I ran faster to get to them.
I need to be there.
âLiviana, where are you?â Luan suddenly mind linked me.
I almost forgot about telling him atleast.
He mustâve sensed that I wasnât in the school premises anymore.
âIâm in my pack territoryâ I simply replied.
âWhat? Why? Your classes hasnât even ended yetâ he replied back.
âIt was an emergencyâ I replied again.
âWhat emergency, Liviana? Youâre starting to worry me by not telling me the exact details as to why you left school at this hourâ he replied back and I could feel his worry.
âThis is exactly why I donât tell you things. Because you worry too muchâ I replied to him.
âOf course, Iâll worry about you because I care so much about you. So please, just tell meâ he replied.
âA rogue attack is about to happenâ I replied.
âWhat?! Iâm coming there immediatelyâ he replied and I feel an overwhelming anxiety coming from him.
âNo. Stay put, Luan. Iâll ask help when I need it. I donât want you and or your men getting involved in my packâs mattersâ I replied sternly.
âBut what if itâs already too late before you can ask for help?! What if something bad happens to you if I donât get there now?â he replied.
âI know what Iâm doing, Luanâ I replied.
âLivianaâ¦Iâ¦I canât lose youâ he replied with a whimper. Amaris and I can feel both his and his wolfâs anxiety now.
âYou wonât lose meâ¦.I promiseâ I replied.
It took him a moment to reply.
âOkay. I trust you. Please be safe, my loveâ he replied and I cut the link.
I started to smell foreign scents and immediately recognized it as roguesâ scents.
Theyâre here.
I ran even faster and I saw a bunch of wolves fighting from a distance.
I recognized my warriors.
There were a lot of rogues.
I quickly lunged at one when it tried to attack one of my warriors from the back.
Itâs body flew to the other side hitting a tree and earning a helpless whimper from the rogue.
The rogues immediately felt my presence and so did my men.
I did an overlook at the situation.
There must be about 3 dozens of rogues and 2 dozens of us.
We were outnumbered.
But not out skilled.
We started to fight off the rogues and as I ripped the throat of one, my eye caught the packâs traitor as he fought alongside the rogues.
I growled at him as I made my way towards him.
How dare he.
He isnât worthy to be in this pack.
Seeing him now, death would be an extremely generous punishment.
A pair of rogues blocked my way and I snarl at them.
The first one lunged at me but I dodge and claw him on his side making him fall to the ground with a whimper as b***d spurt out of his side.
The other snarled as he cautiously backed away while I moved forward to him.
He snapped at me and tried to attack me with his canines but I jumped up and land on his back before I bit him with my own canines.
I applied pressure as I bit and squeezed his neck and I start to taste the metallic taste of his b***d.
He fell to the ground as he yelped and squirmed in pain.
The one from earlier tried to attack me again but I quickly rip the head off of his rogue friend and throw the head to the side.
The rogue growled and howled and proceeds to attack me more aggressively.
But he was attacking irrationally as he just kept lunging at me without thinking of his attacks while I waited for the right moment to finish him.
I finally found the right moment and as I dodge his attack, I moved to the side and bit his neck.
I didnât hesitate and bit hard then ripped his head off of his pathetic body.
My eyes searched the area for the traitor again and see him fighting with Alex.
I saw how Alex dodged his attack but the traitor quickly recovered and bit Alexâs leg earning a yelp from him..
Alex quickly recovered and clawed the traitor with his other paw making his opponent whimper in pain.
I saw one of the warriors rip out the throat of a rogue and saw that only one rogue remained as it was circled by my men.
The rogue growled and snarled at my men but still whimpered and cowered in fear.
I return my attention back to Alex and the traitor and I felt Danteâs presence beside me.
The traitor pounced on Alex but he was faster than him so he was able to dodge the attack and bring tge traitor to the ground.
Alex stepped on the traitors neck depriving him of air.
The traitor squirmed in Alexâs hold but he doesnât let go nor does he kill him right then and there.
The traitors starts to weaken with the lack of oxygen and faints on the spot.
Alex lets him go, finally but he was already unconscious from the lack of oxygen.
Alex huffs and I see him smirk.
âTake them to the dungeonâ I mind linked everyone.
âYes, Alphaâ they replied.
âAs for the badly injured men, head to the infirmary to get treated immediately. Youâve all done goodâ I mind linked everyone.
âThank you, Alphaâ they replied once more.
I follow my men as we made our way to the dungeon with the captives while the badly injured once made their way to the infirmary to get medical treatment.
We reached the dungeon and we shifted back as the guards handed us some clothes.
I shifted away from all the men and quickly slipped on the clothes provided to me.
The guards there prepared separate cells for the two captives.
I watched as they put on silver cuffs around them that was connecting to the wall.
They traitor was still unconscious while the rogue had already shifted into its human form earlier.
Once we had made sure that they canât escape, my men closed the silver doors of the cells and 2 men guard each cell.
I gave my men an acknowledging nod as I made my way out of the dungeon with Dante and Edmond behind me.
âWhat time do you plan to start interrogating them?â Edmond asked me.
âAs soon as the traitor wakes upâ I said and Edmond nodded.
âHas the wolfâs bane been prepared?â I asked and Edmond nodded.
âYes and one of the packâs doctor will be there to assist usâ he told me and I nodded satisfied.
âAre you both okay?â I asked as I turned to look at both of them and Edmond looked absolutely okay but I saw a red stain on Danteâs ripped shirt.
I reached out to him to see if he has a wound beneath his shirt but he grabbed my hand to stop me.
âItâll heal soonâ he said.
My brows furrowed and I grab his hand to let me go and I held his shirt up to check the wound.
It still looked fresh and I can tell that it was healing very slowly and it was bleeding pretty badly.
âIâll be just fine, Livianaâ he assured me but I glare at him.
âIâll get him to the infirmary quicklyâ Edmond offered but I shook my head.
âI think Iâll take care of it. Can you get us to the pack house instead?â I asked and he nodded before shifting to his wolf again for us to ride.
âIâm really okayâ Dante kept trying to convince me.
âGet onâ I said sternly and he sighed before we got on Edmondâs back and we started making our way to the pack house.
We arrived there in no time and we went inside and upstairs to Danteâs room.
âSit downâ I instructed Dante and went to the bathroom to get tge emergency medicine kit.
âItâs not a big deal, Liviana. Iâve had similar wounds before and theyâll heal soon enoughâ he told me but I ignored him as I opened the medicine kit and took out a scissor.
I cut his shirt up and removed it from his body to reveal the wound beneath the shirt.
Edmond knocked and opened the door then walked inside the room with us.
I then proceeded by cleaning the wound but it still wouldnât stop bleeding so itâs getting messy.
I sighed.
This isnât going to work.
âLay downâ I instructed Dante.
âWhy?â he asked. I gave him a look and he did as he was told.
âThis is going to hurt for a moment but bare with itâ I said as I put my hand on his wound.
âWhat willâfck!â he cussed as my eyes glowed gold and my hands lit up as I healed his wound.
âSht!â he shouted again as he clenched on his bedsheets.
I finished and we both gasped for air as my knees weakened and I seek for support from the bed.
That was tiring.
