Liviana’s POV

It’s almost the end of the day and I’ve been constantly trying to reach out to Luan only to be shut out over and over again.

I sighed.

Finally, we had our class together.

I turned to look at Luan behind me.

“Luan” I called out but he ignored me. I frowned.

This dude really.

“Are you really going to do this?” I said bit he kept ignoring me.

I huffed.

“Fine. You do you. I’ll wait until you feel like talking to me but if you keep doing this, we’ll end up where we started all over again” I said in defeat before looking in front as the professor came in.

Class started and I tried to listen instead of trying to constantly pester Luan to talk to me.

If it was any other day, I would’ve gotten completely pissed at him and just get mad at him.

But I know better now.

I really am trying to be a better mate while still being the Crescent Moon’s Alpha.

Class ended and everyone started to leave.

I saw Luan pass me and got out of the room.

I frowned again.

He doesn’t even look at me.

That punk.

I grabbed my bag and headed out of the door only to see that Luan was still there.

But he wasn’t alone.

He was with that human girl.

The flirty one whose head I want to rip off badly, yes. That girl.

My brows furrowed and I clenched my fist.

They glanced at me and the girl immediately clung onto Luan’s arm. I looked somewhere else and walked away from them with a frown on my face.

Whatever.

They’re probably talking about that project of theirs.

I should know better than anyone that Luan wouldn’t go for her.

I got out of school and I saw Andre with El by Edmond’s car. He must’ve borrowed it to go here.

“Livi!” Andre waved at me as I made my way to them.

All the girls were staring again.

I’m used to it at this point.

“How was school?” Andre immediately asked.

“It was fine. Why are you here?” I asked back.

“I’m coming to pick you up” he said with a shrug. I nodded.

“Wait. How about Luan?” El asked.

“I think he’s busy. But if you want to wait up for him. Go ahead. I need to get back to the pack quickly to finish up some documents so I can’t wait for him” I explained.

El looked confused but nodded in agreement anyway.

“I’ll wait for him. You guys go on ahead” El said and Andre and I nodded.

Andre opened the door for me and I got in then he did.

We drove back to the pack house.

“Is something wrong?” Andre suddenly asked when he noticed me just blankly staring out of the window. I shook my head.

“I’m just tired” I said with a small smile then continued to stare outside.

I wasn’t in the mood to talk.

I wanted to bury myself in paperwork or tire myself out in training to take my mind off Luan at the moment.

If I continue thinking of him like this in frustration, I’ll end up starting an argument again and it’s not going to be very pretty.

We reached the pack house and once again, Andre opened the door for me and I got out and we both headed in.

I went upstairs to my room and took a quick shower then dressed up before heading straight to my office.

Andre was there looking at some documents on the table.

“You work on this all by yourself?” he asked and I nodded before sitting down.

“Sometimes Edmond and Dante help me. Bit most of the time, it’s just me since I like to keep myself busy” I said as I started to grab one document after another.

“So you’re a workaholic” he stated with a chuckle.

“Well, you can say something like that” I said and chuckled a bit.

Andre sat down on my desk and I slightly frowned at him.

“Dude, get off the desk. There’s a chair that you can clearly sit on” I said and pointed to the chair.

“Nah. Too far from you” he said and I shook my head in disbelief.

“You wouldn’t want me to scrape your a** off the table now, would you?” I tried to warn him.

Andre smirked.

“I’d like to see you try” he said and winked at me. I rolled my eyes with a chuckle.

“Get off, Andre” I said as I stood up and tried to pull him away from my desk.

It happened in a swift motion and the next thing I know, I was the one leaning on the desk caged between Andre’s arms.

“Nice try” Andre said with a smug smile. I frowned at him.

“I—“

The door burst open and a loud growl echoed in the room.

My eyes widened when I turned and saw Luan.

He was quick to get to us and grabbed Andre away from him slamming him into the wall.

“What the fck do you think you’re doing with my mate?!” Luan growled at Andre.

Luan’s eyes were already glowing bright blue meaning Deimos is clearly taking over the situation.

“What do you think we were doing, your majesty?” Andre said in a mocking tone.

Luan held him by the throat and I knew I had to intervene unless I want to see them kill each other in my office.

I held Luan’s hand to stop him from choking Andre or pulling out his throat.

Luan glanced at me angrily.

“Stop this. Nothing was going on, Luan. Andre was just trying to joke around” I explained.

“Joke around? Or was he trying to flirt with you huh?!” Luan hissed at me.

“Don’t talk to Livi like that” Andre growled at Luan and grabbed him the collar.

Damn it.

“Stop! The both of you!” I said sternly as I tried to push them away each other to no avail.

“Who are you to tell me what to do?!” Luan hissed at Andre.

At this point, Andre’s green eyes were already glowing brightly as well.

“Stop!” I screamed but they didn’t listen.

“Stay away from my mate. She’s mine!” Luan growled at Andre.

“I don’t see a mark now, do I?” Andre smirked making Luan more angry.

“You son of a—“

An idea popped into my head.

I fainted.

Or should I say fake fainted?

I heard them both panic and I also sensed others rushing inside the office.

There was El, Dante and Edmond.

“Livi!”

“Liviana!”

“What the fck did the both of you do?!” Dante growled.

“Call the doctor, El. Quickly” Edmond instructed then I felt El leave the room.

Then I was lifted up. I can sense that it was Dante.

I was brought to a room. My room to be exact.

Dante laid me down the bed gently.

“What the hell happened?!” Dante growled again and I felt him leave my side.

I can only assume that he’s aggressively holding Luan and Andre.

I felt someone touch my wrist and check my pulse. It was probably Edmond.

“Try to calm down, Dante. Harassing them will not wake Livi up” Edmond said calmly but I can feel his hand shaking when he checked my pulse.

He was just as worried as Dante was.

The door opened again and I felt another presence in the room along with El.

Then, someone sat beside me and started checking my vitals.

“Her vitals are stable” the female doctor stated.

“What happened?” the doctor asked.

No one answered for a moment.

I was sticking to my acting.

This is quite effective in stopping men from fighting over me.

Aren’t I clever?

“We were having a heated argument when Livi suddenly fainted. We don’t know how but she just did” Andre finally explained.

The doctor sighed.

“Can everyone please get out of the room so I can do more tests on here please” the doctor said.

“No. I want to stay” Luan said.

“I’m sorry, your majesty but you need to leave the room as well or I won’t be able to do my job” the doctor said sternly.

Then there was a moment of silence.

“Fine” Luan said.

I sensed all of them get out followed by the closing of the door.

Then the doctor started to lightly tap me.

“Alpha?” the doctor said and I slowly opened my eyes.

The doctor sighed in relief.

I sat up.

“Are you okay, Alpha?” she asked and I nodded.

“I’m completely fine. I just needed to ‘faint’ to those two possessive males off of each other earlier” I explained.

The doctor chuckled a bit.

“Boy problems, I see” she said and I nodded.

“Don’t you just want to throw them in the river sometimes?” I said with a frowm and the doctor laughed but we still kept our voices low.

“I understand what you’re saying, Alpha. My mate is quite the possessive male too and considering that my job requires me to mingle with both genders, it’s hard to keep him from getting all worked up even with the little things” she said.

I sighed.

“Boys” I said and we both chuckled.

“But are you really okay, Alpha? I was afraid you had an after effect after what happened yesterday and you also fainted that time for an unknown reason” she asked worried. I nodded.

“I’m really fine. Thank you. Also, I’m sorry for wasting your time. The situation really just called for it. It was either that or you’ll need to work on two guy with serious injuries from fighting over me” I said with a chuckle.

The doctor nodded in understanding.

“That’s okay, Alpha. What do you want me to say to them?” she asked.

“Can you just assure them that I’m fine and I’ll probably wake up soon?” I said and she nodded.

“Okay, Alpha. I’ll do just that” she said with a smile then stood up and lowered her head to me before going out.

I laid down again.
