Livianaâs POV
âGood morningâ Luan greeted with his messy hair and sleepy yawn.
Itâs been a few days since I finally told Luan how I felt about him and its been the most wholesome few days of my 18 year old life.
Luan stayed in the pack house those past few days.
In addition to that, heâs been bickering with Andre since both of their stays and El would always be the one to stop them both.
Today, Andre is leaving to go back to his pack.
âGood morningâ I greeted as I sat up and in the bed then Luan sat in front of me before pulling me into his arms and kissing the top of my head.
âI can wake up to this everydayâ he said with a satisfied smile on his face. I chuckled.
âOh yeah? Well, youâve been saying that every morning tooâ I said with a chuckle.
Luan looked at me and pinched my cheeks.
âAnd Iâll say it againâ he said with a chuckle.
I laughed.
Luan stays in one of the guest rooms in the pack since my uncle will have our heads if we sleep in the same room.
Luan and Dante havenât really bickered in a while even when they basically see each other every day.
They throw insults or threats at each other every once in a while but nothing serious.
My uncle Dante doesnât go ballistic when Luan becomes extra close to me anymore either.
Iâm starting to think that heâs beginning ti accept Luan and heâs starting to trust me more with my personal life too.
âIâll go ahead and wash up. You can go down first if you wantâ I said as I got off the bed.
âNah. Iâll just wait for you so we can go down togetherâ he said and I nodded.
There was no use to convince him to do otherwise so I might as well just get on with it.
I took a quick shower and changed into my training clothes before going out of the bathroom.
As soon as I got out, I saw Luan with my blow dryer in his hand.
I smiled.
He does this every time.
âCome here, miss. Letâs dry your hairâ he said with a wink and I chuckled.
I sat down on the stool and he started drying my hair.
âYou can do a part time in the salonâ I teased and Luan chuckled.
âIâd rather not. Too many female heads in one place that you can rip offâ he teased back.
I slightly pouted but realized that it was sort of true.
âIâll just be your personal hair guyâ he suggested and I nodded with a satisfied smile.
âI like that betterâ I said and I saw him smile.
After our little moment, we went down together.
âLivi! Luan!â Ellie squealed excitedly and ran to us.
Luan caught Ellie in his arms and she hugged him tightly by the neck before turning to me and pouting her lips.
I leaned in so she could give me a k**s and I gave her one on the cheek too.
Luan carried Ellie in her arms as we went to the kitchen where Andre and El were.
âGood morning, lovebirdsâ El greeted with the same teasing smile he gives us every morning.
âGood morning, Liviâ Andre greeted me with a smile earning another frown from my mate.
âGood morning, Andreâ I greeted back as Luan and I sat down beside each other.
We were served breakfast.
Ellie was sitting on Luanâs lap and we took turns feeding her.
It has became a routine for us whenever Ellie woke up in time to join us for breakfast.
âYouâre literally like a married couple. No one can tell me otherwiseâ El stated earning a smug smile from Luan and they did a high five.
This two get closer and closer each day. Iâm now officially convinced that theyâre each otherâs bestfriends.
El doesnât even call Luan with formality even with other people around.
Thatâs how close they are now.
âLivi can definitely do betterâ Andre butt in earning a frown from Luan.
âLuan is already the best, Andreâ I said earning a teasing âooohhhâ from El and a satisfied grin and a k**s on the cheek from Luan.
Although the line made me cringe, Iâm glad that Iâm able to finally say whatâs on my mind.
Andre only rolled his eyes when Luan smirked at him.
âWill you join us for the morning training or are you planning on leaving before then?â I asked Andre.
âIâll join the morning training and leave afterwardsâ he said and I nodded.
We finished up breakfast and made our way to the training grounds.
Luan stayed in the pack house to shower first and change before joining us.
âYou never told me why youâre leaving so soonâ I said as we walked to the training grounds.
âI donât have a choice. As much as I want to stay longer, my time is upâ he said.
âYour time is up? What do you mean?â I asked with my brows furrowed.
âIâm taking over the Alpha title by next week, Liviâ he said with a smile but it didnât reach his eyes.
I was a little surprised but I had expected him to be the next Alpha of their pack already.
I mean, he is still acknowledged as Alpha Sethâs son when his mom became mated to the Alpha.
On top of that, Andre only has one sibling or half sibling. His younger sister who I recall only started shifting recently.
âGood for youâ I said and gave him a pat on the back.
âIs it really good for me though?â he said.
I could feel that he was having doubts.
Maybe he felt the same way that I did when I first started to take over the title.
âAt some point in your reign, youâll realize how fulfilling it is to be Alpha. I know you enough to know that youâll make an amazing leader, Andre. Trust yourself and youâll be just fineâ I assured him.
Andre gave me a smile.
âThank you. Iâm glad I decided to stay here before going backâ he said and I smiled.
âAnd Iâm glad you came backâ I said.
Then we reached the training grounds.
I was greeted by the pack members like usual and we started with warm ups.
Andre led the training while I supervised.
A little later, Luan came holding Ellieâs hand on his as they watched from the side.
Training continued on until it was time for a little sparring session.
The pack members started first by fighting against each other.
I was very keen in watching their every move.
I can say that they are indeed improving each day and I feel proud and relieved as their Alpha.
This only means that they are capable of handling themselves and keeping themselves safe at all times.
Thatâs all I wanted after all.
I donât expect them to fight the packâs battles.
We have warriors for that and myself.
As much as I can, Iâll fight the packâs battles with them.
All Iâm aiming for right now is for them to be able to protect themselves from possible harm since I canât always be where they are to save them from danger.
After the pack members, the main event is finally called out.
Andre and I.
We came to the circle.
Itâs a 2 minute one on one fight in our human form and a minute of one on one fight in our wolves where we shift midway.
âIâm not going to go easy on you, Liviâ Andre told me. I smirked.
âI donât expect you toâ I said with a smug smile.
Alex blew the whistle and Andre immediately lunged at me but I was quick to dodge him.
Itâs been so long since we sparred against each other but Andreâs moves still seemed awfully familiar.
He was on offense and I was on defense.
It was a really close fight.
I was able to land a few hits on him and he landed a few hits on me too.
âShift!â Alex shouted midway and we quickly shifted.
I finally saw his wolf again after that day when I saw him in the woods fighting the rogues with my guards.
Andre also took his time looking at my wolf.
Iâm sure even Andre is a bit surprised to see my wolf. Anyone would be surprised to see my wolf.
I was different after all. We were different.
Andre lunged at me and I was caught a little off guard so we ended up in a collision and tumbled to the ground together.
I quickly got up on my feet and lunged at him pinning him to the ground.
Once he couldnât get out, we heard the sound of the whistle meaning its the end.
I got off Andre and Luan came to my side with a blanket and my clothes.
El did the same for Andre.
I went to a nearby bush and shifted back to my human form there before slipping into my clothes then came out of the bush.
Alex started to finish up the training with the pack members as I stood on the side with Luan.
âGreat job, loveâ Luan complimented and gave me a k**s on my temple.
âThank youâ I said with a smile.
âLivi is amazingâ Ellie said and I smiled as I carried her in my arms.
âThank you, little oneâ I said and she gave me a k**s on the cheek.
Andre and El came back and stood beside us.
âNo doubt that you can take down any Alpha or wolf at that. The rumors were true. Youâre a beast in battleâ Andre said and nudged me with a smile.
I chuckled.
âOut of everyone Iâve fought with, youâre the first to keep up with meâ I said and Andre smiled.
âThanksâ he said and I smiled.
The morning training finished and Andre prepared to leave.
âI expect to see you at my inauguration as Alphaâ Andre said. I nodded.
âIâll be thereâ I said and he smiled.
âTell your mom I said hiâ I said and he nodded.
âI willâ he said.
Andre and I hugged goodbye.
âGoodbye, Liviâ Andre whispered.
âTill I see you again, Andreâ I said and we pulled away from each other.
I waved Andre goodbye with a small smile on my face.
