Liviana’s POV

“Livi! Finally, you’re back!” Cassandra said as soon as I got to our table.

“Sorry. Did I take too long? I couldn’t find the restroom and when I did, I got lost on the way back” I lied.

“It’s fine. I should’ve gone with you considering it’s your first time here. I’ll just call the boys back” she said.

“Is Luan back yet?” I asked.

Cassandra shook her head.

“Not yet” she said and I nodded.

I looked around.

I want to go home.

“Oh, Livi. I think your hair is a little loose. Let me fix it” Cassandra said as she went to my side to fix my hair.

I didn’t bother to stop Cassandra as she started to fix my hair.

“Better” she said when she finished.

“Thanks” I said and Cassandra smiled.

“You’re welcome” she said.

Then, we saw Abe and Beau going back to our table.

“Livi, thank the goddess you’re back” Abe said.

I smiled at them apologetically.

“Sorry. I got a bit lost” I lied again.

The twins just sighed and then nodded.

After a while of waiting, we finally saw Luan again.

He made his way to us with a neutral expression on his face.

But my brows immediately furrowed when he got close to us and I saw his busted l*p.

It was barely noticeable as it healed but I was still able to notice it.

“Hey” Luan said softly as he held me by the waist.

I raised a brow at him.

“Who did that?” I asked with my brows furrowed.

“Did what?” he asked feigning ignorance.

My b***d boiled and I dragged Luan out into the balcony then shut the door.

I faced Luan and pointed at his lips.

“I asked who did that” I said in a low growl.

Luan sighed.

“Just ignore it. It’s nothing” he said as he tried to reach out to me.

I stepped back as I looked at him in disbelief.

“Did your father do that?” I asked but it came out more like an accusation than a question.

Luan didn’t answer but he tried to reach out to me again.

I pulled away.

“Answer me!” I growled and eyes glowed bright gold as I felt the rage build up in me.

Luan gulped as he stared at me.

My jaw clenched in rage.

But Luan still didn’t answer.

“Fine. I’ll ask him myself” I said and I was about to walk away but Luan quickly pulled me back to him.

Luna hugged me tightly from the back to stop me.

“Don’t. Please. I don’t want you to get hurt so just don’t. I’m begging you, Liviana” he pleaded.

I clenched my fists.

“Let me go” I demanded in a dangerous tone.

Luan’s hold on me tightened.

“Please, baby. Don’t do this” Luan kept begging.

I closed my eyes tightly in frustration.

“Let me go. I’m leaving” I said but Luan didn’t let go.

“Just let go, Luan. I’m not going to do anything anymore so just let go” I calmly said.

Luan’s hold on me loosened and I turned to look at him.

“I want to go home” I said.

Luan sighed and nodded.

“Let’s go home” he said and held my hand then intertwined it with his.

Luan and I made our way inside and to the exit of the palace.

I glanced back at the crowd and mg eyes met with King Luis’.

I clenched my jaw in anger.

Wait till I come back.

Let’s see if Luan can still stop me from unraveling your dark secrets hidden inside of both you and this palace.

Wait till I show who I really am.

Luan and I came back to the hotel via their driver.

As soon as we got to our room, I went straight to the bathroom and locked the door.

I stood in front of the mirror and clenched on the bathroom sink.

I wanted to let out the pent up rage building up inside of me.

But I couldn’t do it while I’m here.

Luan knocked on the door.

“Baby, let’s talk” he said from the other side of the bathroom door.

I sighed.

“Luan, not now” I said.

“Baby, please” Luan pleaded.

I leaned on the bathroom sink.

“Luan, please. Let me calm down for a moment” I told him.

There was a moment of silence.

“Okay” I heard him say then it was followed with footsteps walking away.

I sighed.

I looked at my reflection in the mirror and I see my eyes flash gold for a moment.

I know that Amaris must be livid right now.

Specially adding the fact that my parents were found inside of the castle.

And that could only mean one thing.

King Luis is either the perpetrator or an alliance.

Either way, he had something to do with everything.

That’s why my uncle has been so hostile with Luan.

My uncle probably knew.

He knew what type of person Luan’s father was.

I growled loudly as I punched the wall in rage.

My eyes glowed bright gold as my chest heaved up and down in anger.

“Liviana!” Luan knocked on the door loudly as he tried to open it.

How am I supposed to tell Luan?

“Fck!” I cussed and punched the wall once more in frustration.

Why…why does it have to be me?

“Liviana, open the door!” Luan growled from the other side of the door as he tried to force open the bathroom door.

I clenched my jaw and walked to the door to open it.

As soon as our eyes met, Luan’s gaze softened.

Then, he looked at me up and down and saw my hand.

“Liviana” he muttered as he reached for my hand.

And that’s when I saw that it was bleeding.

“What did you do?” he asked worried as he looked at my hand.

I only stared at him.

“Baby” Luan said as he cupped my face.

“Is it because of me? Are you upset? Did something happen when I was gone? Tell me” Luan said as he caressed my hair.

I sniffed and looked at him.

“You won’t tell me who did that to you and why. I’m mad at you” I lied.

It was obvious from his actions who did that but he couldn’t voice it out.

Luan sighed.

“It really doesn’t matter” Luan said as he held my face and caressed my cheek with his thumb.

I pouted.

“Did you really cry just because I refused to tell you?” Luan asked with a chuckle.

I looked away and nodded.

Luan laughed a little so I glared at him and he stopped.

“You’ve become a sensitive one after we marked each other huh” he teased.

I frowned and pulled away from him.

“Whatever” I said and went back to the bathroom then shut the door at him.

I heard Luan’s laughter even when I went inside the bathroom.

I sighed.

He doesn’t need to know.

Atleast, not yet.

I need to confirm everything first and I need to think of a way to save my parents.

Till then, he doesn’t need to know.

I went for a cold shower and got dressed in one of Luan’s shirt and didn’t bother wear any bottoms.

I needed the sense of comfort for Amaris and I after all that revelation.

“Looking good” Luan said with a grin on his face.

I squinted my eyes at him.

“Go take a shower. You stink” I lied making him pout.

“No, I don’t” he said as he stood up and made his way to me.

Before he could get to me, he unbuttoned and removed his shirt throwing it somewhere.

“You’re lying” he whispered in my ears using a husky tone.

I gulped and Luan smirked.

“Tell me I’m wrong” he taunted as he wrapped his arms on my waist and pressed my body on his.

My breath hitched as I met his eyes.
