Casper played with the straw.
âI decided, I want to pay him back! â he said determined.
âAre you sure? You don't seem that type of person. âZhia Xiang said finishing her tart.

Casper took her hands in his grateful.
âThank you! Oh right... I haved asked your name yet... Charlotte isn't your name, right? â
âIt's Zhia Xiang. But I'll use Charlotte for now so use this one.â Zhia Xiang said and called the waitress with the bill.
She payed and they both exited the restaurant.
âWhat should I do with Jack... I'm not good at planning. âCasper said looking at the ground as they walked.

Suddenly, from around the corner a guy bumped into Casper.
âOh, my bad. I wasn't careful. â the stranger said smiling warmly.

âI'm Sam, what's your name? â the stranger who know has a name, asked, holding his hand out.
âCasper.â Casper said and shook hands with Sam.
âNice to meet you, Casper, let's grab coffee one day. Here, my phone number. âSam said giving Casper a piece of paper with a phone number on it before leaving rushed.
âJeez, I'm invisible now. âZhia Xiang said with a smile on her face as she saw the blush on Casper's face.
âHe seems nice... âCasper said saving the number in his phone.
âHe seemed to like you too. â Zhia Xiang teased elbowing Casper.
âWhat are you saying? âCasper asked embarrassed.
âI mean he completely ignored me and even if he was in a rush he still asked for your name and gave you his number. He wants to see you again. âZhia Xiang said smirking.
âDo you really think he likes me? Maybe he was feeling bad for bumping into me... â
Zhia Xiang giggled and ruffled Casper's hair. They returned to the academy since Casper had classes.
The teachers didn't had any problem with Zhia Xiang being there even is she's not a student, seems like Casper's dad is a good sponsor for this academy.
Jack kept staring at Casper still confused on why he's ignoring him, everything went well. Something must have changed Casper's mind... but what?
The classes were over.
âAre you going to call him? âZhia Xiang giving Casper a cheeky smile.
âDon't tease me like this. â Casper said and gently pushed Zhia Xiang.
âIt's not teasing, he gave you his number because he wants to hang out. So why not give him a chance? â
âAlright, I will give him a message. âCasper said taking his phone out prepared to type a message.
âYou don't know what to say? âZhia Xiang asked guessing why Casper is not typing.
âI mean we are strangers that bumped into each other... what if he already forgot about me? "Oh, who is this weirdo texting me?" âCasper said gesturing with his free hand.
Zhia Xiang sighed loudly.
âJust say "Hi, I'm Casper. I was wondering if you're up to hang out." â Zhia Xiang said.
Casper bit his lip debating is he should send a message.
âI'll just do it. â he impulsively decided and texted Sam the exact world's that Zhia Xiang suggested.
I was wondering when you're going to text me. You really left me waiting, Casper. I'm free rn if you wish to meet.
Sam almost immediately replied.
âHe replied!! âCasper shouted excited.
âTold you. Oh, seems like he was waiting for your message... this guy really seems into you. Text him back.â Zhia Xiang said elbowing Casper.
Casper coughed and returned his attention to his phone.
I'm also free. Is going to see a movie alright with you?
Of course. I'll be at the cinema in 30 minutes.

âShit, he'll be there in 30 minutes!âCasper said panicked.
âSo? You already look good so just get there. âZhia Xiang said.

Casper smiled, feeling happy that she cares for him.

Sam was styling his dark purple hair while looking in the mirror. He put his favorite cologne on and left to meet with Casper.
âDid I make you wait? I had to prepare, sorry. âSam said apologetically.
âNo problem, I just arrived. â Casper said smiling.
The two looked at each other.
âNice piercings... âCasper said smiling awkwardly.
âYou like piercings? âSam asked.
âYes. â Casper answered relaxing his nerves.
âI bet you'll look amazing with some. Maybe in your ear? Or eyebrow? âSam said touching Casper's face.
Casper stood frozen as his cheeks began to burn.
âShoot, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have touched you without permission. âSam said and stretched his back awkwardly.
âDon't worry, I'm not upset. Do you want to choose the movie? âCasper changed the subject.
âSure, but next time you chose. âSam winked at Casper and turned around to look at the movie list.
Casper played with his hands trying to calm his beating heart.
âLet's see this one. âSam pointed his index fingers to a movie on the list and turned his head to look at Casper.
Casper took a quick look at the list and nodded his head.
Sam giggled and bend over to take a closer look at Casper's face.
âYou're really cute.I'll pay for the tickets, buy us some snacks. I would like some salty popcorn and a pepsi. âSam said and left to the ticket booth.
Casper rushed to buy snakes.
âCasper? â a voice from behind Casper called.
âWhat is it? âCasper asked getting upset as he payed for the snaks.
âWhy are you avoiding me? It's really hurting my feelings, I've told you already that I have a crush on you... âJack said pitiful.
âI don't like you. âCasper said.
âI understand, but why can't we be friends? You said it's alright to be friends. â
âI don't want to anymore. Respect that. âCasper looked at Jack with a disappointment in his eyes and left.
Jack clenched his fists with a scowl on his face.
Casper spotted Sam and walked up to him.
âDid something happens? You seem angry. âSam said and took the snacks from Casper's hands.
âI just meet someone I dislike. Let's go in. âCasper changed his annoyed expression so a smile.
Sam hummed in response and they both entered to watch to movie.
